What Julien Alfred Situation JUST DID Is RIDICULOUS!- Women's Track and Field 2024
The Julien Alfred Situation Is Wild!
Who can’t blame #JulienAlfred, right? Everyone is busting off their asses in training so that they can get a medal at the Olympics happening in a few months! And, as you know, the Saint Lucian athlete has been making her way to the top in recent years.
And continues to do so. In fact, she continued her dominant streak this indoor season with a stunning performance at the 2024 Millrose Games in New York a few days ago.
Yes, I said “continued her dominant streak” because that’s what she did last season; exhibited her dominance in the sport. As a matter of fact, she was the one to break #ShaCarriRichardson’s undefeated streak in the 100m.
Simply put, Julien worked really hard last season and unsurprisingly won the Top Female Athlete award last February for her athletic prowess on the tracks. She was recognized as Sportswoman of the Year at the annual National Sports Awards ceremony. Her country’s recognition of her talent and amazing progress does not stop there. In April, it was announced that Alfred would be awarded a diplomatic passport and financial assistance by the St Lucia government for record-breaking exploits in the #trackandfield
