Can I use an actual Ubuntu server or do I have to give these scuzzy, greedy corporations my money?
for sure you can. if the server is strong enough you can install mongodb locally instead of using cloud mongodb atlas
@@BuildWithAIToolsI'm not sure how good it is. I bought a used desktop and loaded Ubuntu on bare metal. It came with windows 10 and a 1TB hard drive and only 4G of RAM but I can upgrade. I put two 2TB hard drives into it and set them up on ZFS Mirrored. I also have another server running on a virtual box on a Dell laptop. I can ssh into both of them from another Toshiba laptop with Putty and Filezilla. I have never used Linux before Jan 2024 and it took me about a month to set up the servers and get them to communicate, set up static ip and etc. I want to build a front end that will reside on the server and will allow the user to login, surf video, music, use a vpn, or put something on NAS. I can evolve it as I go. I want to write my own web and media servers

you need to deploy a web app. it should be as git repo.
Can you do a video on next js deployment on Azure with a local agent as MS doesn't provide free parallism. I'm getting an internal error after following all the steps.
