I've had a lot of fun with legendary weapon glitch, legendary reboot optics, contagion, and legendary short circuit plus the closest SMG. Contagion stuns, then optics blinds, then when they try to shoot their guns explode. Meanwhile you're the thunder god. But in general the legendary passives on quickhacks tend to be pretty good.

You can simply whistle him from afar, then walk around (making sure not to get seen) and just slip into the doorway much easier. I found Memory Wipe to be very useful for dealing with the Cyberpsycho missions for Regina. If you end up alerting the psycho, reboot optics, memory wipe, and Optical Camo, is a great way to chill them out long enough for you to sneak up behind them and give them a non-lethal cuddle. I actually used RO/MW on that one cyberpsycho that is perched on that scaffolding? The one that is a Tyger Claw, and is scripted to drop down and kill that one guy. You are basically forced to come at him head on (i tried the other direction and he bugged out, didn't trigger the scripted drop attack), but it almost guarantees he will agro you and go into open combat. Which sucks because if you do that way, at about 60%hp, he bamfs away and now starts fighting in a big area with several other Tyger Claws as support. So you end up in a massive fire fight, in public, and it's a mess
But I just hung back a bit, let him drop down, kill that one guy he always kills. Hit him with RO, then Memory Wipe, popped my invisibility, and sprinted in, slid in behind him, gave him a sleepy hug, and boom, no phase 2 of that fight. Super handy as that one mission gave me a lot of trouble. But that method let you drop him in about 15 seconds. No muss, no fuss.

The best quickhack is the one best suited to your needs and playstyle (coughpingcough)
Also Sonic Shock and Memory Wipe go great together. As Legendary Sonic Shock has a passive ability where if you have it any enemy under the effect of a quick hack can't snitch to their chooms.
Now read what Memory Wipe says, particularly the part where it says it effects the whole squad.
With these two together, you'll be able to use memory wipe and not have them return to being angy. Oh, and if you hit them with that jedi mind trick make sure you stay out of sight once you hit them with it, just because they forgot WHY they were in combat, doesn't mean they won't take exception to you being there. If youve got 2 enemies together, you can memory wipe one of them and run up, full view of the guy you wiped. They dont react. I'm mainly a pistol plus sword guy, but when I need to take cover and heal, I resort to quickhacks to continue to deal damage. This is the one I use when I want to face 4 enemies instead of 5, or 5 enemies instead of 6, etc. 😁 Still trying to figure out the reset on it and RAM recovery rate and those things, but really like it so far.

Don't know if CDPR rebalanced anything, but about 6 months ago I did a poison based stealth netrunner build. With subliminal message, mass vulnerability, and contagion it could clear out buildings with a single use. Could kill anything except bosses, which I just throwing knifed to death. Took down Oda in 2 throwing knives. It was honestly so busted that I will never use this build again. It trivialized combat to such a mind numbing degree that it wasn't even fun anymore. However, one really cool part of the build was the cyberware which heals me on poison damage. So in the rare occasion where an enemy got close to me, I would throw a poison grenade at my feet that would kill them and heal me at the same time.

I wouldn't rank it too high, but I've had fun moments with whistle, the ability to target the specific enemy you want and to bring them out of position where ever you are able to get to yourself rather than to a fixed distraction enabled device can be pretty invaluable for some stealth situations. Especially like memory wipe or some things on their own can't help you where enemies have good visuals on each other and that's where whistle can shine.

    my build:
1: Short circuit ( can spread to 2/3 enemies with a legendary deck) (one shot Kos)
2: overheat (budget short circ, i use it when i need to off multiple people quickly when short circ just got used already)
3: contagion (the big brother of overheat which can kill an entire camp with a single use, aka i am lazy and i want you dead)
4: ping (useful to find distraction opportunities, or to weasel your way through an infested base)
5: cyberpsychosis (it's just fun, on it's own it's not great but and just takes more time than other options)
6: whistle (although not commonly used effectively it's great for opening a path to doors where guards are stationed allowing you to pass without bumping into them when invisible)

My to go OP net runner build is: Teatronic Rippler (Short Circuit, Suicide, System Reset, Reboot optics and other 2 for your preference). I also use a breach auto uploader mod that basically solves any breach in 2 seconds, including all the stages. For cyberware, use Memory Boost (3 ram recovery per kill), Ex-Disk and Limbic System Enhancement. Fully upgraded Breach Protocol and Quickhacks tree, paired with Cold Blood literally makes you a stealth netrunner without actually being stealthy.
I usually start with a breach with 3 daemons which turns off all cameras, turrets, reduces ram cost and turns on reboot optics passive which blinds every single enemy that spots you. Now here comes the fun part, I simply walk forward uploading suicide on different pairs (rippler ability to upload ultimate quickhacks to an additional target) and finishing off other targets with short circuit. Now remember that memory boost gives me back 3 ram for every kill and considering the fact that I spent 3-4 ram for suicide and receive 6, I got basically infinite ram.

My preferred mix is Contagion, Ping, System Reset, Synapse Burnout, Weapon Glitch and Reboot Optics. Particularly once they're at Legendary. Start combat with a Breach Protocol from stealth and you've hit EVERY ENEMY with a delayed release Reboot Optics and Weapon Glitch. Once the fight starts, they will all go blind and have their weapons blow up - and the latter can do quite a bit of damage.
I'll swap out Weapon Glitch for Static Shock on occasion, particularly when fighting Cyberpsychoes...because it still works on them as of patch 1.61. Plus the Legendary version has that neat feature of applying Static Shock on critical hits...which is a bit of an exploit for the "Beat on the Brat" side-missions if you stack on enough hand-to-hand buffs.

Wasn't a nethrunner back when i play from 2019 (More of a tech sniper who focuses on absurdly large guns) but i loved the ping quickhacks; this one gave me a whole journey of cyberpunk. I wiped out all of the city's skull marked bounties while minimally able to carry the Grad and Quasar(The Anti material rifle and burst fire revolver). I used to play stealth based off a traditional revolver but they're bullet sponge that could one shot me so my strategy changed to be hit and run dumped solid rounds through solid cover with the ping until all of them are wiped out! I was just used ping from a simple electronics in the enemy camps such as lamps, computers and security cameras to spread the ping(I assume it is a sonar reflection through walls that highlights targets). I was able to spot a nethrunner 90% of the time and quickly shot them through a solid cover because they're the only one who would crouch with distinctive gesture; tapping on cybernetics in cover after the whole building heard the first shot. With practice I could blast a nethrunner through solid cover every single time with well prepared staged shot, be it open or anywhere in the game; I would just use my trusty car or a simple road bench as a wallbang stop until thier skulls are riddled tons of armor piercing bullets(I focus on anything that increases headshot damage). I could have utillizing terrain and urban layout that can be used in other competitive FPS games too! Truly i am happy this simple quickhacks got mentioned.

Easiest gigs ever. I also really enjoyed the Contagion/Cyberpsychosis quickhack combo, Contagion to weaken everyone around, then a Cyberpsycho to finish them all off.
Also, my game had a weird glitch with Short Circuit where after I used it on an enemy and they went down, they would get shocked again after about 3 seconds while they were already down, which would kill them. Very inconvenient when trying to deal with Cyberpsychos non lethally

Cyberpsychosis is a fantastic distraction program. System reset is great for stealth drops, like sentry removal. Reboot optics and ping are the only utilities I typically slot and even they are situational, otherwise I just have fun with assault hacks. with all the passive effects reducing the ram cost of ultimate quickhacks, I can pretty consistently get a 8 ram cost reduction on all my quickhacks ! with a theorical maximum reduction of 16 ram cost if I defeat 4 ennemies with explosions, cause an enemy to panic, and defeat 6 ennemies in total before using an ultimate quickhack.

I've made pretty good use of Whistle...it can be tricky, but done right you can take out several members of a group, one by one. Memory Wipe I use when attacking a small group...it puts one out of action [usually the most dangerous one if I can determine who it is] while I take out the other two. Cyberware Malfunction I find particularly effective against cyberpsychos, but otherwise it has pretty limited application. Overheat is indispensible, IMO. It's one of the few I use all the time. Along with Contagion, you could even consider using nothing else. Cripple movement, like Memory Wipe is great for immobilizing a few members of a group while you take out the rest, esp. with knife or sword. Attack 3 and normally, one will always get you. Freeze one, and you can take out two, then the helpless third. Detonate grenade is indeed fun...but a good many enemies either don't have a grenade, have something weak like a flashbang, or will run away from the grenadier when he starts glitching out. Most military enemies will have them, though. Also, there's a lack of control, so results can be unpredictable. The great thing about Cyberpsychosis is that robots and drones will turn on their own allies and each other...very useful! It's fun, but it doesn't take you out of danger...once again unpredictable. Yes, Contagion is one of the 2 or 3 indispensible quickhacks. I've taken out whole groups of death-head enemies just with repeat applications of Contagion and Overheat. Ping is useful, as you say...but often it will alert a whole network of enemies. Use with caution. Yes, Short Circuit is probably the king of quickhacks...I got so bored with using it that it prompted me to explore the others just for variety.
There are a couple of mods that will up your Netrunner game even higher...one will give you 8 slots on your Legendary cyberdeck, another will give you the option of automatically uploading several or all of your Quickhacks to a whole network if you do a grapple takedown of one member. It can get crazy and way OP.
Something you don't mention here is that some QHs will warn your enemies around the target and reveal your position if the QH doesn't take them out quickly enough. I still haven't figured out how to predict when this will happen, although it seems like Short Circuit is a prime offender, thereby compromising its utility.

Legendary System Reset, Suicide, Contagion, Ping, Short Circuit, and OverHeat. These are incredibly effective on the Tetratronic. Depending on your load out, system reset can be reduced to a single RAM, and proc your cooldown reduction causing it to be available immediately. I have wiped numerous camps and bases. Excellent for stealth. Suicide is great as it can also be reduced to negligible levels and removes two enemies in addition to the 2 you eliminated with System Reset. Then cleanup with Short Circuit/Contagion.
Speaking of Contagion, Overheat + Contagion melts health bars. Short circuit is just an incredible single target nuke. If it crits, you’ll instantly take out some cyberpsychos or deal massive damage to bosses. Ping for revealing, planning and for reducing RAM cost. I rarely drop below 50% of my RAM.

No one seems to mention that during that period, you can pause the game, go into your cyberdeck and swap out quickhacks during an engagement. The cost of one slot and some RAM to have your whole deck available for whatever situation you find yourself in.

For a low-leveled netrunner, Reboot optics and Whistle are some of the best options for stealth. Whistle an enemy to you, move out of sight, but position yourself close enough to the original spot to do a sealth takedown when they begin to move back.
Reboot optics is best for just moving past an enemy from one point of cover to another. Given sometimes they'll turn around afterwards, it's not always the best option for sneaking up to them (especially if it has a short duration).
Once the perk for quickhack spreading is taken, recently deceased enemies can be set up like quickhack traps, spreading anything [spreadable] uploaded to them prior to death. This is useful if the range is still short (prior to the related perk).
Given quickhacks can be used in lieu of a weapon during car chase scenes, one needn't fire a single shot -- just quickhack the driver and they won't continue following.
Lastly, Cripple Movement and Cyberpsychosis are two of my favourite QHs, and when used together they are effectively Suicide. Enemies will be hostile to one another, but without the ability to move or attack, they'll simply give up on life much faster than with CP alone. Those plus the Tetratronic Rippler equals two deaths per pop. Not all that cost effective (given you could just use Suicide), but it sure is fun mixing them together.

There is a great synergy with Legendary Tetratronic, Contagion, Synapse Burnout. Contagion, Suicide spreading and weakening foes with some minor CC. Synapse burnout to kill weakened foes with ease and causing panic which also lowers the cost of the Suicide hack. It quickly snowballs into entire groups dying with ease.

Having played Cyberpunk 2077 from release I agree with your ranking of quickhacks completely.

Using the Netwatch Deck, my build is Short Circuit, Ping, Cyberpsychosis, Contagion, Synapse Burnout, and Suicide. I don't even unholster my weapon anymore.
    >Legendary Ping lets you hack revealed enemies through obstacles, so you can be completely danger-free.
    >Drop a Contagion to start the ball rolling. With the right perks, using Contagion on a full building can wipe the whole place clean.
    >Cyberpsychosis keeps enemies distracted and clumped together, which allows Contagion to always get the max number of jumps.
    >Short Circuit can do over 5k non-lethal damage in less than a second with basically no cooldown and no RAM cost, which is perfect for taking out anyone who's managed to surive Contagion long enough to almost finish revealing your position. If you're using the perk that makes hacks do double damage while undetected, this is absolutely invaluable.
    >Synapse Burnout and Suicide are mostly there for the passives. Burnout causes enemies to panic whenever a quickhack kills something, and Suicide gives your next ultimate a RAM discount whenever someone panics, so there's great synergy there which is practically always going to be active.
Status effect hacks like Optics, Weapon Glitch, Malfunction, and Cripple are great when you're using weapons alongside your hacks. But with a 100% Quickhack damage only build, they just sacrifice damage you could be doing elsewhere.
And covert quickhacks are useless. Can't be detected if everyone is already dead or unconscious.

Contagion is also good for a throwing knife build due to ninjutsu perks. Poisoned targets can't sprint, and you can detonate all the poison damage, or make it effect robots

Short circuit’s legendary perk is so op, just adding that extra damage on top of your own just for procing a crit. Even in a full stealth build using no damage quickhacks, I still have to include it

Something that I like doing is mixing sonic shock with other quick hacks such as short circuit because if you have at least the epic one essentially allows you to just do shit to the person without anyone noticeing

You can hack the shard given to you by Meredith, to take the deamon, just not remove it from the shard. I hacked it from the shard, but didn't remove it, and still got the "interesting" Meredith side mission.

For me, my quickhack setup is Overheat, Short Circuit, Ping, Contagion, Cripple Movement and Reboot Optics. I've cleared out entire areas without having to go actually into them because I just take over their cameras and quickhack through them. Short Circuit is definitely the best quickhack imo.

My favorite strategy is: breach a protocol to jam all the guns, deactivate cameras and reduce quickhack cost. Then pick a target for cyberpsychosis. Afterwards u simply want to follow your cyberpsycho with a camera and shortcircuit or overheat any enemies that try to kill him. Simple, deadly and effective. Then u simply walk into a hostile area like nothing happened cause everybody's already dead

i think the best part about quick hacks is all the narrative context and visual variety of effects. i roleplay every video game i play, im always reactive and thinking like im truly there, directring the scene. when i use my cyber eyes to poison a group of enemies as i casually stroll by and watch as they helplessly try to understand what just happens is as viscerally cathartic as bioshocks plasmids were. in bioshock, i snap my fingers and light someone on fire. in cyberpunk, i can look at a guy, and explode every synapse in his brain.
thats much more satisfying than shooting a guy with a gun.
but if that gun was a smart shogun with pellets that are partial to dismemberment, then its satisfying again.
    context.

Forgot the video but there was one where someone walked into the Arasaka shipyard and just walked up to everyone and insta quick hacked them to death without anyone noticing. Even more satisfying than the Sandivistan stuff.

A thing that I found when using a net runner build is that the synapse burnout hack wouldnt actually kill the cyber psychos like mentioned in the vid, it would still just incapacitate them!

The main problem I had with Sonic Shock (Legendary) is that the passive effect makes every quickhack cut comms... which alerts the whole squad when you Ping them!
Higher tiers of Cyberware Malfunction have that time-bomb effect, which is bad if you're trying for a nonlethal takedown (ie. cyberpsychos) you hit your target, knock them out... and then the gear blows up and kills them! Ooops.
Legendary Short Circuit also adds an EMP effect to every critical. Yes, EVERY critical. Paired with Problem Solver or a good shotgun, you can apply shocks at gun fire rates.
