He spends almost all his time engineering and less than 2% of his time with public speaking - in these public speeches, he stutters a lot, and rarely ever prepares himself much. Is this what you think makes him a "PR genius"?
TheScalexWrites In 1995, at age 24, Musk moved to California to begin a PhD in applied physics and materials science at Stanford University, but left the program after two days to pursue his entrepreneurial aspirations in the areas of the Internet, renewable energy and outer space.
Muskar "He spends almost all his time engineering" Source for that claim? Because he isn't an engineer :) "he stutters a lot, and rarely ever prepares himself much." He doesn't have to be prepared since the audience is never critical or sceptical. "Is this what you think makes him a "PR genius"?" How about the huge personal cult around him and the fact that he fails on every one of his promises and yet people picture him like a successful businessman and engineer. While every single of his companies failed on a financial basis and their products are horrible as well. Yet everybody talks about him how great he is and progressive. Utter bullshit this guy is a fraud, at least the engineers I wolk with from day to day know this but the general public treats him like a saint (in the US). Look at the simple facts, the Tesla is a failure and has serious quality issues. The F9 has serious reliability issues hasn't been reused yet and the price is increasing every year. F9H 4 years late and still no launch but whatever right? Hyperloop we shouldn't even talk about that. His mars rocket ? Yeah elon try to figure out how to go to space with your simple F9 then we will talk again. It's about the booster rocket coming back and landing safely. Now they can hopefully refurbish the rocket and use it for another launch and greatly reduce cost of a future one.
+Mark Guinn I think now it's not only about the cost, but also testing the retropropulsive technology that can land big ship where parachute won't work, as NASA interested when they re-light their engine at altitude where the condition similar to Martian atmosphere

rhetorical ABM Sprint college dropout? He graduated from TWO colleges.

In 1995, at age 24, Musk moved to California to begin a PhD in applied physics and materials science at Stanford University, but left the program after two days to pursue his entrepreneurial aspirations in the areas of the Internet, renewable energy and outer space.
Muskar
"He spends almost all his time engineering"
Source for that claim?
Because he isn't an engineer :)
"he stutters a lot, and rarely ever prepares himself much."
He doesn't have to be prepared since the audience is never critical or sceptical.
"Is this what you think makes him a "PR genius"?"
How about the huge personal cult around him and the fact that he fails on every one of his promises and yet people picture him like a successful businessman and engineer.
Just look up the criticism on him, he is a fraud and only people who are not in scientific community or in engineering industry fall for his bullshit.
Greetings.
I salute every engineer involved in this mission 🙌👍👌
Idk but I cried. I’m so happy to be this part of generation to witness these histories being made and when these amazing people are alive.
simply amazing. the ability of the human species continues to surprise, in both directions.
DJ Deckard Cain know what you mean
Agreed, and well said
backwards and forwards
After knowing the story of Elon and how his childhood heroes critisized him for his project, I am ecstatic for Elon.
Thats because they are the old guards, they grew up with NASA. And they dont want private businesses meddling with space travel. But capitalism works. Elon actually cares aboit recycling rockets and making them better because it is out of his pocket and not the tax payers money he throws around.
Elon is one business guy that you can respect without feeling bad about it. Whatever he does is gonna be for humanity. Two years ago I didn't know about him but lately I've been watching him a lot.
@@missionpupa They have actually come around, Armstrong loves Elon now.
@@---jc7pi Armstrong has been dead since 2012.
Watching the TV show "Mars" was incredible. I still love it. 😍2024
The future of space exploration...
Will Cubes therefore, Space eXploration
lol.. are you serious.
Before you all going to Mars, I suggest SpaceX make *real* space telescope first.
Only then, I say you all are damn genius. Only if it actually work.
Because space telescope are impossible. (Using telescope while inside ISS doesn't count).
***** yup
The first landing never gets old... What an amazing achievement... I wish I was smart enough to be part of spacex
Dislikes are probably employee's of Blue Origin😂
😂😂😂😂😂

🤣
Works of thousands of people, that's what makes me cry
Can't find words to describe his efforts to launch a reusable rocket even when NASA failed to hear out his ideas. His persistent efforts to pursue his passion is just beyond words. We love you elon
Jesus I f'n teared up
Mee too. Goosebumps. 🙏
Mystique Ufo Pirate so did i

this brought tears to my eyes
Watching this after the super heavy catch...same vibes, larger scale.
5 years later....
Spacex Is getting married to NASA
Lol😂
5 years later.
NASA is dismantling. More private space companies take humanity ahead.
It's was a beautiful wedding! Let's hope they make it back from their honeymoon and they'll have a long and happy marriage!
SpaceX will be like Weyland Yutani
@@abhishekagarwal787 nah nasa is still going to operate, they now mainly build rovers and habitats
"holy smokes man" hahaha
Everything took place on Earth. Is the feat here the cost, the speed, or the similarity of conditions to a Mars landing?
It's about the booster rocket coming back and landing safely. Now they can hopefully refurbish the rocket and use it for another launch and greatly reduce cost of a future one.
+Mark Guinn I think now it's not only about the cost, but also testing the retropropulsive technology that can land big ship where parachute won't work, as NASA interested when they re-light their engine at altitude where the condition similar to Martian atmosphere
Moduhlize let's just say he's a Californian
Maybe he really thinks it is a holy smoke that's emanating off the rocket.
every rapper ever- "showing off stacks of money and gold chains"
Elon Musk- "Launching rockets into space"
Stay in school kids.
But didnt he like... drop out?
Of a PHD program... He has a double degree from Queens University.
J. E. Please don't be reductive
We can celebrate Elon without being negative about hip hop artists
Not every rapper..
elon may have gone to school but he is a big supporter of being self taught
4 years later, and this is in everyone's recommendation.
Most powerful person "elon musk"

You know, you are in some way exceptional, if you are standing next to Elon Musk.
trickySK unless you re the guy holding the camera lol
Congrats for choosing the field and work and study like hell and love it, you may get a chance to work beside the genius.
just read his biography, it will give you motivation and a sense of struggle for the visionary.
I really hope I get to leave this earth in my life time and experience the real universe for what it really is
almost everything is too far away
Timo worm holes are the gateway to other universes
look up astral projection go outside your body travel universe with mind
I dream of just experiencing the vastness of space. Seeing the scope of it all with my bare eyes... I could die a happy man at that point.
Carlos Martinez what One Eye said. you can basically turn on your human wireless transmitter and travel the cosmos.
Their excitement, enthusiasm and triumph is contagious. Thanks for sharing.
"This is bad, this is bad" you could tell just from those words how much the project means to him
Bruce Stark is this guy
did elon really just say "holy smokes"?
I'm sure it took some self control to use the euphemism for the Discovery cameras. :)
and that's odd because?
Josh Kurien
i can probably count in 1 hand the amount of people i've seen that really say that.
my guess is he moderated himself in front of the camera.
BattousaiHBr Yeah if you read his biography his reaction probably would have been closer to "Holy fuck, it works"
Strangely enough, the rocket after that on blew up no landing.
If this doesn't bring you to tears something wrong with u
That landing Goosebumps ✨🔥
it's beautiful to see so many different people working on one same goal, to innovate space travel. truly beautiful
Most billionaires spent their money for expensive shit like yachts, caviar or yoga lessons for their dogs. Musk, Bezos and others are investing in hard-to-handle technologies like space technology, electric mobility, solar and fusion energy. Guess who I respect more.
Who is taking care of Fukushima?
Go educate yourself on r/latestagecapitalism
Totally agreed. He's awesome. I respect him, I admire him, I adore him, I worship him.
Gates to has a charity. Btw I agree with u
yoga lessons 😂😂
This is what people working hard together on a certain goal, look like when it turns out as a success. Its really inspiring
Elon will always be the first step towards another planet. His passion for exploration and the perseverance of mankind is beyond anything I could imagine for 1 decade of evolution
