Bio: Leonardo Torres was raised Catholic and left the church at age 18 after being threatened to be kicked out for asking questions about the bible concerning his grandfather's death. He identified as an Atheist for 12 years and spent that time actively arguing with street preachers, witnesses and anyone else who brought up religion. At age 30, he had a strong encounter with God that made him drop his Atheist title and he became a free follower of GOD which he calls, "The Great Spirit". Taking God seriously and following Him wherever He leads him, Leonardo started this RUclips Channel reaction to music as a "Non-Christian" musician reviewing Christian music. Through the music and the stories he began to learn more about Christ and considers himself a Student of Christ. Whether that means "Christian" or not is yet to be determined, but this channel is like a lost and found for lost sheep, Leonardo's goal is to create a safe space where God can find those who are yearning for Him. Leonardo wants to remind followers of Christ to love one another as they were commanded. The main theme of this channel is "Spread Love", and that's what we do, we take the love that God has given to us and we spread it to those who need it.

I was a muslim 3 months ago. Never "believed" in Jesus. Lately my marriage is going through crisis, because I wrote with other women and my wife found out. She wanted a divorce. We have 2 beautiful kids and a beautiful home. Life was crashing down on me and I didn't want to lose my family so I started praying to our heavenly father for a sign. My wife didn't even hug me for almost 3 years. Couple days later after praying she came to me and just hugged me. Out of the blue. So I am now baptized and find the light of our lord jesus christ. I'm still fighting everyday to get my wife back and I am praying every day for forgiveness. I'm glad that I found our savior jesus christ.

Something happened to me two weeks ago. I was listening to a worship song and this glow went through my body, I felt for the first time in my life.. rooted, belonging, the tears were streaming down my face. I was brought up Roman Catholic.. terrible times for my brother and I. Needless to say I don’t practice any religion. But I am looking for a religion but after the church doors where locked during covid I don’t think I can trust anyone. I believe in god and I truly believe I felt god that day.

The exact same thing happened to me with this song. After growing up atheist I decided to give religion a chance. I've been trying to "find God" for a while, you know reading the bible, praying, all that, but I never really felt his presence. I just tried to tell myself that this is what it's like to believe in God, but then i heard this song, this exact same performance, and I teared up just like you. Actually I started crying like a baby. This was when I first felt the presence of God. I realized that it's not me who has to find God, he finds me, i just have to accept him in my life. So there's this one part of the song, which surrounds me wherever I go and helps me keep on trusting in God: "God of salvation, you chased down my heart through all of my failure and pride."

First, that even though you didn't feel the presence of God right away, you didn't doubt the truth of your salvation. And that is really important, that is faith. Julia Richmond the story is actually a bit longer than what I said in my comment but long story short I had a „moment“ like that before, when I was in church with my hostfamily during my exchange year. By this time I really just went with them because I had to. Anyways, while the whole church community was praising the Lord something hit me like a train and I couldn‘t stop crying. That‘s when my hostmom first said „The Holy Spirit is chasing you“ So I was extremely excited and ready to start this journey but for some reason I never felt like that again and slowly started giving up... So then 6 months later I felt like that again (what I said in my comment).

This is why we need this kind of WORSHIP music. To the people who say this is no worship, this is not what God meant for worship, respectfully, you are so very wrong. It might not be your preference for worship, but this is POWERFUL. Worship does not have a clear cut, cookie cutter definition of what it needs to be like. Worship is what you make of it. And worship is so powerful. The emotion this man felt with it is so real and beautiful. Whether worship is celebrating, lamenting, or preaching; worship is powerful and beautiful and we need ALL OF IT

Hey, when I got saved, literally every single song I listened to made me cry. To this day I cannot look at the sky, or animals, my kids, or my wife, my co workers, and friends without seeing Him. He saved me from addiction and gave me a family, a wife. A steady job, a place to live, good food to eat. And I know I don't deserve it. He did it because he loves me, before I was even born.

God, if you weren’t real why am i feeling this way? I was just supposed to watch this and i ended up crying like a baby. You are great God. I just realized how sinful i was and yet you still loves me unconditionally.
I'm 35 and have been a believer for 28 years. I've seen non-believers abused and pushed aside falsely in the name of my Savior, Jesus. I've questioned Him, been hurt, angry, not content, and drifting. But time and time again I hear others praising, reacting to His Word, and falling in love with this amazing story He has written. It's these real reactions that again and again reassure me of his beauty, love, and purpose. God bless you brother!

@Relic Hunter - the parables in Luke, along with many others, are meant to illustrate how God cares for the one single person coming to know him: the parable of the coin, the hidden treasure and the prodigal son. The latter of the 3 specifically describes a great feast of celebration. There’s also the parable of the lost sheep where the shepherd leaves his 99 sheep to retrieve the single lost one and upon finding him, calls everyone to celebrate with him.
I’m a 40 year old man...crying in joy with you my man! We are not alone! Our Father is with us! That feeling of crying without reason is the love overcoming our fears, doubts, anger, hate, worry, disappointment, stress and anything far from God....come to Jesus and all those pains are gone!

I started reading the Bible, encouraged to garden and research plants, soil and natural remedies for my son’s allergies and eczema. I see God’s hand in everything, so perfectly made for each other and us. “I see his heart in everything he’s made” hits home, it’s how I feel. I’m just in awe of everything he’s done. My son’s allergies have improved with natural remedies and we just love being outside, to feel closer to him and his creation.

I wish that happened to me. I struggle with suicide. I have been since I was 13. I tried to kill myself with Alcohol when I was 16. I wish I felt love but I don’t.

This song came out about the same time that I was in rehab and when I first heard it I couldn't contain myself. I completely lost it when he says "as you speak, a hundred billion failures disappear" and "if you left the grave behind you, so will I". To this day I can throw this song on repeat and it completely change my day. I've been clean from heroin for 3 years now and the Lord has blessed me beyond what i could ever ask for. I loved this video, man. Keep them coming.

Let me ask you something...how many people do you know that would lay down their life for you. For a world that didnt believe, that mocked him, that persecuted him, that beat him. His death was was for a purpose. He took the worst beating in history, for YOU. Jesus says, in. Revelation 3:20, "Behold, I stand at the door and knock. I’m an ex-atheist. I didn’t hear this song until after I met Jesus in an out of body experience, but everything you said about how the drummer and guitarists play in little explosive circles is exactly what amazes me about this song. I get chills and tear up every time I listen to it. The live recordings of it are my absolute favorite! My favorite line in this song is “as you speak, a hundred billion creatures catch your breath, evolving in pursuit of what you said”. When I made eye contact with Him, I was overwhelmed with love and the feeling of being totally understood. Even though I had been an atheist up until that moment (and very anti-Christianity), I instantly knew that I had always known and loved Him. He gave no judgment, and He made it clear that there was a reason I was that way for so long, and now He was here to call me back to Him. I still went through months of depression afterwards due to my own feelings of guilt. Like, how could I have been so hateful towards anyone who said His name, but He loved me in a way I couldn’t understand even when I was that type of person?? I went through a massive personality change during that time, but I still see evolution being described in metaphors in Genesis. Of all the things He showed me just with His eyes, that was one thing He never corrected me on. That one little line in this song gives me chills, because it’s like I can see Him in the atmosphere surrounding our planet, literally using DNA as a canvas for His art in ways our minds can’t comprehend, and to me it is the most beautiful thing that other Christians usually want to argue about because they think it devalues Him. But in my opinion, it shows more of His awesomeness, and to not see it is missing out. He doesn’t mind, He doesn’t need His children to agree on every single detail, He really just wants our love. It’s that simple 💖
