- Zermatt Switzerland is a very popular mountain village in the Swiss Alps. It is best known for the Matterhorn - probably the most famous mountain in Switzerland. Zermatt is car-free, which means that you can only get up there by train or - if you can afford it - by helicopter or cab. Come with me on a beautiful journey above Zermatt to Fluhalp - my little oasis of peace.

I know that you use a lot of different equipment to take these videos. But the most important tool that you have are your eyes. Primeiramente quero dizer que sou apaixonada pelo seu cachorro Rasta. A personalidade dele é incrível e acho super divertido. Outra coisa, eu adoro esse lugar e essa montanha que é a marca da Suíça. É um verdadeiro ícone. E você é muito abençoado, eu sabia que você ia conseguir mostrar a montanha. Enquanto eu assistia o vídeo vi aqueles pássaro voando próximo a montanha e sei que é um presente pra você e para nós. It's so beautiful to see Stellisee in winter! It looks so quiet and pristine without the crowds. You were at the good timing before the lake was frozen. I stayed in Fluhalp this past July. It was beautiful but too many people around the lake. I'd love to see Matterhorn and Zermatt in winter!
I love lakes when they still have a reflection on it:)) Maybe I am able to go up before spring arrives
Glorious views! Rasta seemed to have enjoyed everything despite the weather. I recall my visit to Zermatt . It was an amazing summer day! I was "dogless", though.

Another comment -- Treasure every minute with Rasta. In the past hour we said goodbye to our beloved little dog as we had him put to sleep. He had internal cancer and was bleeding internally, which could not be fixed. He also had Diabetes, which complicated matters. So, give that beautiful Rasta all the love you can. 😢

Hi Sylvia, what great footage! What time and what season was the 3rd trip to Stellisee taken? I'm planning a one night trip to see the Matterhorn and want to avoid the crowds if possible. I don't mind grey weather as long as I get to see the Matterhorn even if briefly, the way you did on your last morning. The few people that were there when you visited is fine. I just want it to be quiet and peaceful enough to contemplate and commune with the Matterhorn without instagrammers clicking away or tourists talking excitedly. I'm like Rasta. Crowds stress me out. I'd like to visit in late September or October, but notice that the Fluhalp is only open in summer. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks.
