What are your favorite logos from Regal Entertainment, Inc? Mine would be the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 6th, and 7th logos! EDIT: I'm aware that the timestamp for the 2018-Present logo says "6th" instead of "7th". Mistakes happen!
Because it was in the early 1960s when Regal Entertainment, Inc. was established back in 1962 as Regal Films, Inc., and it was founded by Mother Lily Monteverde.
As a Filipino myself u made ur first ident from my country kudos Fun fact: Regal Films is known for making the Horror film franchise Shake,Rattle and Roll
As well as the Mano Po family drama film franchise which is started releasing back in the early 2000s and mid 2010s from 2002 to 2016 and recently celebrating it ls 20th anniversary last year with its spinoff Philippine television drama anthology series Mano Po Legacy on GMA Network in which premiered on January 3, 2022 on the network's Telebabad primetime line up and concluded on January 13, 2023 consists of three installments such as The Family Fortune starring Barbie Forteza, Sunshine Cruz and Maricel Laxa-Pangilinan, Her Big Boss starring Bianca Umali, Ken Chan and Kelvin Miranda, and the most recent installment of the franchise, The Flower Sisters starring Aiko Melendez, Beauty Gonzales, Thea Tolentino and Angel Guardian.
So Regal Films not only intentionally made horror movies but also intentionally made the logo nightmarish as well. The appearing red r from the light, the horror thunderstorm clouds, the moon appearing as clouds disperse, and the scary sound made my movie experience a scary one especially if the movie is a horror movie.
Wow! This is an awesome logo history of Regal Films, Jonty! And this is your second logo history of an Filipino company. Regal Films' logos look very interesting, some of these are really good, while the others aren't. My best favourite logo from Regal Films being the 4th logo, because the animation is just... fantastic! The 2nd logo (which is another entry for the list of the worst "Nightmare" logos in my opinion), is the most infamous logo from Regal Films, because of the dark nature, the horror movie-like theme playing in the background, and especially the loud thunderclap sounds in some of their variants (one of these is taken from the "Death & Horror" volume of the BBC Sound Effects library). And also on the 6th logo, it's an 50th anniversary logo being used until 2018 for some reason. Why didn't they have a new logo or they just take that "50 Years" wordmark out of the logo? Anyway, great video!
00:1 the long version means the lion walks at the start and lion sits at the end 00:2 the short version means the lion was already sit with short music was a already finish.
I remember those days 90s everytime na nanonood Ako noon sa tv ng palabas dati sa ABSCBN ng regal presents Lalo kung horror kabag lalabas Yung logo ng Letter R ng regal films natatakot PO Ako..

I actually don't like the second logo of Regal Entertainment because the music of it sound really scary, reminds me of going through the black hole, but i like the first one.

Excuse me but I think this video clearly showed a lot more than just 7 logos
Yes, they're variations of some sort. But I don't simplify my logo histories, you see.
I'm from the Philippines
why most of these are very damaged, American logos didn't suffer too much at the time (this company is from phillipines)
Hmm, that's an interesting question. I'm not sure.
