My direct supervisor when I worked with disabled folk in their own homes told me how he got promoted. When on 12hr night shifts, we weren't allowed to sleep. So he was on nightshift, everything was done, clients all bathed, fed, medicated and happy; he settled down on the living room couch to watch tv and must have nodded off. Woke up sometime later and found a note on his chest from HIS supervisor, reminding him "no sleeping on shift" and "I've closed the house doors". Oops. So they promoted him out of directly looking after clients. So he was "sacked" from his former position; but at least he knew what toll doing night shifts took.

I’ll always be fascinated by HR doing nothing when there’s mountains upon mountains of complaints towards one trouble maker if it’s reported by employees, but will take it seriously if one customer makes one complaint about the same thing.

It's because that hr employee isn't any better, and sometimes they are friends with the offenders. I know it's redundant to mention what HRs purpose is, but if they aren't taking their employees complaints seriously, then obviously they aren't protecting the company.

A lot of HR cares more about shielding the company from lawsuits rather than employee protection. They want plenty of evidence to prevent “wrongful termination” lawsuits.

The other girl answered on the positive. I placed the wine down cleared my throat and got their attention, i looked at the second girl (the GM) up and down and said sorry love you just ain't my type, they gave me a confused look until the realization hit them that the owner was in fact me lol so the girl and her boss (sister) got fired.

I also had a boss at my Walmart store hears ago during the holiday rush ,christmas, that he couldnt let me take break since there was nobody else back there. We unloaded trucks onto pallets by department and then took them out after everything was ready, might take 2/3 hours with 2 decent people. Anyhow, he told me that since I was the only person pulling that I couldn't take my company approved 15 minute break so the next day I printed it off at the store about our mandatory break times. He told me if I took my breaks that he would tell the store manager that I was taking 30 minute breaks so I requested camera tapes from when I took breaks but evidently it wasnt important anymore 🤔🤔🤔

When I worked at a restaurant I was also working a lot on my mental health and I had just been diagnosed with borderline personality disorder. I was feeling very overwhelmed at this new job so in an effort to communicate with management about what was going on I shared my private information with a manager I was very comfortable with. And I guess he shared that with other people and so the lead manager came to me and told me to my face that he was not giving me any hours because I was untrustworthy and I would probably stab somebody with a knife and that he just couldn't give hours to somebody who had a bunch of phobias. I was literally like I'm terrified of roosters but there are none in this building so I don't understand what phobia you're talking about and so that like got him to admit that yeah I am discriminating against you for your mental health status. Just to be clear he had been grabbing women's crotches at the same restaurant and he had been reported for sexual harassment upwards of a dozen times. His wife would even come into the shifts to keep an eye on him. But I got to tell you one report to upper management about this and he was gone apparently you can grab and touch and molest to whatever you want but you cannot discriminate

My grandmother had a dance recital that day n it was the first time in over a decade that I would miss it. Screw that! I stormed down there cuz I knew he was at work since my bro was there too. I blew up on him n handed in my uniform n told them to "cover the shift urself, but don't worry as I heard Coworker is free that day." Well with my brother n many witnesses the guy couldn't cover up y I had left n everyone had had enough of his shit. Over about a month everyone called him out n complained to the GM n he got fired

I may be stretching the definition a bit here, and it was something of an accidentally collaborative effort, but given that our bosses, who were a bunch of c^nts (I think you can guess how I felt about them), lost their jobs and more, I am counting it. I had inadvertently set it up, and my friend finished it.
I was having more and more work shunted to me. I ignored it at first, but as it kept going, I chose to use it to my advantage. I let it keep going, letting them grow more and more dependent on me covering for their work. I also tried to gather evidence of their BS, which was not easy to do. Unfortunately, I was not able to gather that much by the time they chose to fire me (right-to-work laws allow an employer to fire for no reason, so if you want any job security, move to a state that does not have them). Security was pretty lax there, and they had tended to be out for long lengths, so I know they never caught me searching for evidence - they likely simply went Super Saiyan C^^t by then.
Fortunately for me, though, I had befriended the few other good ones, so when they fired me, all but one of them quit on the spot. It collapsed their entire operation, and they limped along for nearly a year.
The one who stayed, my aforementioned friend, ended up being the one who finished them off, but it was for his own reasons, though I think I contributed a little to it. Basically, he suffered a bad workplace injury, they tried to cheat him out of worker's comp, and his SO directed him to an attorney friend of hers who specialized in worker's comp lawsuits. This attorney brought in other attorneys who specialized in various aspects of his case, and in less than a week, they had assembled, according to the first attorney, one of the most solid lawsuits ever.
Those c^nts didn't just lose their jobs. What evidence I had found suggested heavy embezzlement. I had mentioned it to him when he first told me of these attorneys, and I suggested that they look into that but also that it would be best that I stay out of it. Thus, well, let's just say that the c^nts also lost their little slush funds.
Could I have gotten something out of the embezzlement part of the lawsuit? Maybe, but helping to take them down and bury them was enough. Plus, the attorneys never charged my friend anything - they got their fees out of the c^nts.

I'm not 100% sure I had anything to do with it, but I suspect it might have. I had been working at my previous job for a couple of months and already the higher ups knew me well as a reliable worker (the place was a mess of bad work ethic and favoritism when I started). Well, one day, the HR lady comes out and starts trying to get everyone to sign a form to give away their lunch break (Everyone was part time working 6-5 hour shifts, generally speaking. But my department sometimes worked 8 hour shifts if we were slammed). Right away I knew this to be highly questionable and I stood my ground on the matter, in front of the whole department, calling the whole idea "stupid" and "If I end up working the full 8 hours, I want my lunch". She went as far as to threaten me with my job, saying "If this isn't going to work for you then you need to talk to your rep." I didn't back down and she dropped the matter.
I think about a week later, the GM comes out and reads an email from the company. He slipped saying "Effective Immediately" from the email, then "corrected" himself saying the HR lady has "left the company, persuing other opportunities." Yeah, right. Nobody starts an email with "Effective immediately" on a voluntary resignation. I think that thing with the lunches got around and someone up the chain heard and fired her ass.

I have a story about getting boss fired.
Okay I was in college and need a a small job to pay for food and gas. 2-3 days a week about 4 hours a day. Well the manager of this dollar store hired I was okay with him at first. However I was friends with two other workers at this store(one was a shelf stock other was a district manager). Anyhow the manager was probabilities 40-45 years old had a wife and 2-3 kids. He was at first giving me the hours I wanted. Then this girl started 20-25 year old single. My hours dropped off to 1 4 hour shift a week. I saw my one buddy at college well I asked him if he’s getting. He got the same 1 4 hour shift . Well i wanted to talk with the boss and ask him why he isn’t scheduling Me. So if your employees you can go into the backroom . He didn’t know I was back there. Now there’s cameras all over this store. I hear moaning but I knew the doors were locked.
I walk out here the boss and girl having $ex in the row. I said WHAT the hell! I immediately go to the back room because I knew he would want try to mess with the camera so I record the video of having sex to give to district manager. I call the district manager. He contacted me. I tell him and ironically the time of incident the manager destroyed the footage. I show the district manager what happened. They fire both of them. Then it gets worse for him. It gets back to his wife. She files for divorce and his mistress got pregnant. I heard he moved out of the area. I haven’t seen him or her for years
