Such a sweet lady. Mrs Louise Smith passed away 6 months after this interview on August 18, 2019. May she Rest In Peace.
I'm sorry I didn't know that mean she rested peace and God bless her family.
She was a beautiful lady inside And out.
Such a sweetheart. I hope someone will be looking out for her wellbeing on her journey to 100.
I am so saddened to hear of the passing of Ms. Louise, God bless her heart she wanted to live until 100 year's old May she rest in peace :(
What a sweet woman, how you get this people to talk to you is amazing. She's such a joy to listen too.
What a great southern lady! Bless her heart when she said ‘let-em call, I love them all!’ Yes, that southern charm shines through.
I am sure Elvis would have loved this.
Her kindness reminded me of a Elvis quote, when asked by a reporter did he mind when girls rip off his shirts? To which Elvis replies ‘ why should I, they put it there!’
I look forward to raising a pint for her 100th! What an time it will be as I can see every ETA trying to coming out just for her....Maybe even have the ones that can’t be there, send in a happy birthday video.
Can’t wait for part two...she is wealth of information. Pure GOLD!
I bet she has things, that she doesn’t realize, cause it’s second nature to her, that would have the Elvis fans salivating.
Great job Billy!!
You are so right. She does love the ETA's. They are alot of fun. They work hard to do their best Elvis impersonation. These guys really are truly Elvis fans. I think Elvis would be proud of everything that so many people do to keep his legacy alive. Mrs. Louise is a special lady.
Made me smile! She reminded me of my grandmother. Elvis’s Family was so much like my family. My family was poor and my cousins were my best friends. My family knew Elvis and his parents. My grandparents knew them in Miss.. Then they moved to Memphis around the same time. My family lived in Larderdale Courts. I know I spelled it wrong. My Aunt and Uncle went to the same high school when Elvis was in high school. My Grandmother hardly talked about those times, because it they were so poor. Thank for sharing:)
Mrs. Smith you're a gem. Thank you for more of your treasure troves of Elvis stories. Thank you for sharing them with us. 🤗
Lovely lady hope she makes 100 +
Such a Very Sweet Lady, God Bless You Ms. Louise, May You get your Wish to live to be 100 years old ♥
What a lovely classy lady mrs smith blessings sent ur way😂😂😂❤️
Guess who was sitting in the back seat? Elvis Presley! Whooo hoo she’s a hoot!
More brilliant research. Louise is just great, it’s wonderful you can interview her and obtain priceless Elvis stories for posterity; highly valued by us fans. These are historical documents.
Mrs Smith, you are intelligent, beautiful, and have so much style! If the Lord wants me ever to come visit Memphis Tennessee, I really pray to have the honor meeting You, Mam! Love and hugs from Germany
Beautiful stories.lovely memories for Louise.ooh how we wish we were there back in the 1950s.truly graced by the lord himself .thank you so much Billy. And Louise smith. From England 🌹🌈 & 2033 we shall celebrate your finest 100 years birthday 🍰 xx

I hope she makes it to 100! Tighten up
You were in the nick of time with this video that now is truly a part of her history now that she is gone on to be with Gene. May God Bless her family! Sweet Lady!

Amazing history !!! Wow Elvis Presley ask the lady not once but twice amazing !!! God bless her !!! Nicely done my friend !!!! Thanks again spa guy you are the best my friend !!!!
What a sweetie. And smart. Thanks. X
Great interview Spa Guy ❤ Sad that she passed away just 6 months after this interview, so sorry she didn't make it till 100. Elvis was a family man, he and Gene were so close, just 6 weeks age difference, that's amazing, they sure had fun together.
I love her! She reminds me of my grandmother that just passed away in Cookeville, Tn
Really cool how you took your time and helped her remember what she can! Very few people with those connections like her left..special!
What a fantastic, precious lady!! I almost spit my coffee out, when you said, "I thought I was talking to her daughter ". Lol 😂 You know Billy.....everyone in the south is "related" in some form or another. Calling someone "Mama" can be an honorary title of respect. As always, love your videos and the Elvis history we get to learn. 😁💚👍
Ah such a lovely lady and great memories and I hope when I am 86 I would love to be as sharpe as her
What a gracious lady!
What a wonderful and sweet lady!
That was a great piece of the puzzle I love meeting Elvis family
She's so sweet I think I'm going to have to buy me self a book!
A beautiful lady. She says what’s on her mind. RIP
Great again, thanks to all. BTB E G.
Highly impressed with your interview here... I liked how you noticed the inconsistency, but allowed her to “save face” very classy. Very nice job man.
Louise is from Ruleville Ms. I went to school outside of Ruleville. Use to go to the sock hop in Ruleville in the early 70s. Yes, they still had sock hops then. Students dressed like the 50s.
WOW!! Great interview as always!! What a beautiful woman you are!!! God bless you! What a memory and thank you for sharing!!
That was some awesome and funny stories about Elvis , Gene , and Louis . Thanks for sharing. I love it ....!!
Thanks SG for sharing this amazing and interesting story. I love her and I too hope for to get her wish that she lives to reach 100. That will surely be so amazing. Sounds like the three of them together had some great times. May God bless her always.😇 . Hearing this story put a smile on my face, which I so needed it. I look forward to the next part of the story. Love you Elvis and always will. ☺

a coca for 3 people! :) what a story !! thanks for sharing .
Wow how sweet 💕 thanks for the video
Love it. Sweet lady. Thanks Billy.
So glad to see this Spa guy. I met Mrs. Louise last year in Mississippi where I live at a Ronnie McDowell concert. Along with an ETA Michael Cullipher. Ronnie and Mrs. Louise are good friends. Last year I talked with her and we had our picture taken together. Didn't ask her much about Elvis. Just how they were kin. During the concert I took lots of videos. I have a great video of Ronnie McDowell talking to Mrs. Louise about Elvis and Gene. How they met and their last visit to to Graceland before Elvis passed. You would love this video. Ronnie also sang to Mrs. Louise. I shared it on my Facebook page last year. To big for messenger. I was sitting in the perfect place to get this video.
This coming Saturday March 2, 2019. Ronnie McDowell will be back here in Mississippi along with two other entertainers. Guess whose coming? Mrs. Louise and this time I'm sitting on the same row with Mrs. Louise. I'm so excited. I plan on taking more pictures, videos, and making more memories. I have the book she was talking about with Ronnie McDowell. I plan on bringing it and get her and Ronnie's autograph. I didn't know about the other book. She should bring some to the concert but I'm sure she would just rather enjoy the concert and not be bothered. She's 86 but doesn't seem like it. Really sweet lady. I want to get that video I took last year to Mrs. Louise. I'm going to try my best to put it on a DVD to give to her at the concert. Wonder what story she will tell this year if Ronnie asks her. I was thinking I should print off our picture from last year and get her to autograph it. Every since I met Mrs. Louise I have been researching whatever I can find about Elvis and Gene. I just learned some more because of this video. Thanks Spa Guy for all you do. I can tell you put alot of hard work into it. I can tell you love doing this and seem very passionate about it. So is there a part two?
I'm friends with you on Facebook. Thanks for the Happy Birthday yesterday. Nice waking up and seeing this knowing I will be seeing her this Saturday in Clinton, Mississippi. I'm in for an exciting and fun night. If ever get the chance you should interview Ronnie McDowell. He has so great stories and some beautiful paintings of Elvis. He sells his prints at his concerts or you can order them. I have three so far. Two of Elvis as a young boy in Tupelo and one from the 50's when he was on the road in the pink Cadillac with Scotty Moore, Bill Black and DJ Fontana.
Ronnie has a new DVD out with Wink Martindale telling a beautiful story about Elvis and Ronnie singing my favorite The King Is Gone. On the cover is one of Ronnie's prints of a young Gladys holding Elvis as a baby. The video is on RUclips and it's called Heavenly Child. If you watch it the best one is seeing Wink tell the story and then Ronnie in front of the wall at Graceland. I plan on getting it at the concert. Ronnie is the biggest Elvis nut. He said that himself. I also have some videos of Ronnie telling some stories about Elvis from the concert last year. If you would like these videos I will be glad to share them with you. I just got to get them on a DVD. I better get off here. Just excited about this video and this weekend. Keep up the good work. It's people like you that help keep Elvis' memory alive. I thank you for that.👍👏🤝
Karen, Thanks for sharing your memories! I have Ronnie's book with his Elvis paintings. Fabulous book! Have fun at the concert!
@@justdea5757 wonder if it's the same book I have. Could be. I know you enjoy your book. Yeah I plan on having a great time.
How do I find that video?
@@marthahumphrey3849 which video? I took alot. My own personal videos. I still don't have them on a dvd but I have them.
@@karenmiddleton995 The video of Ronnie McDowell sang to Louise?
God bless Her
A really wonderful video. She is such a sweet lady. Great job spa guy.
So Elvis in real life from the start was like his characters in the movies he played in. He would start to sing and play in public places as he felt to do so just like his movie characters did.
She’s a sweet lady. I could listen to her a lot. Love her story..❤️😎
I absolutely Love Ms. Louise. She's a lovely lady, has the best stories and we have had the best private conversations. :)
Grata por postar Billy.
Amamos Elvis Presley forever.
Brasil.
Great interview as always Billy. Very few people with those connections like Louise Smith . I`m grateful to Louise will share her stories with us. God bless her!

⚡️With all your stories ,the vibes’⚡️are so strong !!!⚡️🌿😎🥊🇺🇸 #WellDone
Lera Louise Smith is now with her beloved husband Gene, and his cousin Elvis, reunited as family.
Louise passed on August 18th this year, 2019.
Ironically, the same date in August on which Elvis was laid to rest.
No doubt they will all be reminiscing about the old days together and probably also getting up to mischief as they were known to do.
God Bless them all.
Fantastic Interview, she is such a nice lady 👍 ELVIS 👍

What a GREAT interview and beautiful lady. I truly enjoyed this interview.
Great person sweet lady
Thank you for yet another superb Elvis video Spa Guy..💞
Well done Billy you always impressive blessed #Tenebroso
This is so awesome! I could listen to her memories all day long! She is such a precious lady and I hope and pray she gets her wish to live to 100 years old. It's amazing to hear her memories of Elvis and how he was before he became famous. I have Gene's book and it's one of my favorites. I'm very excited to hear that you are working on a video about Follow That Dream! It's my favorite Elvis movie. I live in FL and made my own trip to the filming locations last summer and made a video about it as well. I'll be going back in 2 weeks so that I can go in the courthouse, it was closed the time before. Thanks so much for all of your hard work and for sharing your videos with us!!
Did Elvis ever live around Chattanooga tenn during his teen years
He did not..
I was stationed in Millington from 1970-71 at NAS Memphis in the U.S. Navy!
Great video I want her book
We love you too.
Love this interview! Great job!
Fantastic job
Well said there are far to many people that are negative more positivity 👏 love all your videos xx
Hi Billy 😊.. enjoyed video today.. thanks so much for sharing!..wow what memories..so happy for you that you got too interview with her... your friend Bonnie
She's just so cute!!
I look forward to these videos every week, another great job Mr spa guy.
I wish I owned a copy of this. This real lovely family.
What a wonderful interview. I know that people talked about Elvis and Gene being inseparable in the early days. That sounds like Elvis trying to get a date in those days. I can just see Louise saying that to Elvis lol . Thank you Billy for your corrections and showing us where the Federal clothing store was located. I appreciate your good investigation work. God Bless.
Another great video!
Spa guy you're video was on the news
Kinda sweet she wanted to give out her phone number 😊 If only she knew the flood gate she would open!
I agree!! I can imagine her talking to everyone that called though.
Amazing Southern lady. Walking history.
Gosh this is so good, thank you Spa Guy!
Hi from England
What a lovely lady Louise Smith is. Like so many of her age they would have experienced a great "INTERESTING" life back then. Like my Mom had same sort of experiences
RIP Miss Louise
Feisty😂😂...I love it👌
Nice interview.
🥂 to 100!
Awesome video thanks a lot love miss Louise sweetheart she is ♥️
Can't wait to see pt 2
It's a shame Louise didn't ever write a book about Elvis & Gene! Does she ever spend time with Billy? Waiting for part 2.
39 cents for a coke! Those were the days. Great video. Good job as usual
What a lovely lady 💙 Did she say it was 39 cents, for a coke? Maybe it was a fountain coke. I remember my Mama saying she remembered buying bottled cokes for 5 cents. I know you could get a bottled coke, for 10 cents...in the 60's. I bet they had some awesome times together. Thanks for sharing, Spa Guy!
I love this video. Can not wait for part 2. I saw Louise in the background on your Elvis week video at Marlowes. God Bless her to reach her goal. She is so prescious. On another note, Spaguy, you did a video on Las Vegas Hilton. Did you ever read the book by Dominic Parisi? Alot of Elvis clues in there. He also may be someone to interview. But I was there last week and in the book it was stated that Elvis would stay on the 29th floor when the 30th floor was occupied. Although I could not get into the penthouse, I did get some pictures on the 39th floor. The Col. stayed on the 4th floor.
29th floor not 39th. My bad.
I doubt the 29th and 30th floor story because the Penthouse was specifically for Elvis..
Loving your videos Spa Man..I also met Louise Smith in Memphis...had our picture taken also. Lovely lady xx
Great work as always, I really enjoyed this!
Can't wait to get my copy of the book..I'm really looking forward to reading it..
