Today, Billy and jo talk about their top two viewers' questions from last week... how did Billy and Jo meet and Why didn't they attend Lisa Marie's memorial. I never realized all of this and as a lifelong Elvis fan since the age of 8 (1956), I am truly disgusted. You are his real, blood family, Elvis loved you and he would not like how you have been treated. He would not like a lot of things and I know where the blame lies. My heart goes out to you. I stand with you 100%. Had it been me, I would have a lot more to say. Your discretion is loyalty to Elvis and to Lisa.

Anyone can tell your Love and care is genuine it really doesn’t matter what went on years ago. Elvis was gone😢 his immediate family should be ashamed of themselves! They(Pricilla) all claim how much they loved and cared about him HE WOULD BE HEART BROCKEN to see how the Smith family has/is treated.💔 There should not be a level of grief but if their was the Smith’s would be pretty high up the totem pole! They were ALWAYS loyal to Elvis til the very last breath he took!! I pray Riley reaches out knowing how important FAMILY is. They seem like simple humble people🙏💕 JMO

Really, boo who Smiths’ must of been hard for them to have been turned away from family gatherings. That’s a bunch of crap. It’s NOT what it appears to be. The Smiths’ lead folk to believe they are being treated some type a way. NOT so! The smiths’ made their bed. They allowed the negative vibe linger too long. They NEVER once reached out to Lisa Marie after her daddy died. Too late now!

They don’t. Would probably have to reach out to Graceland to make prior arrangements. I’m pretty sure their fees for touring Graceland would be waived. In the mornings Monday thru Friday
, the public can tour the gravesites at no charge.
The only family Lisa and her children was around after Elvis passing was Priscilla's family and when Vernon was alive no one had to pay the site was open to the public from 9am - 4pm. Closed I day for cleaning the grounds..Priscilla took over think it's down to 1 or 2 hrs per day in the morning.
@@queenscott4572 Lisa Marie wrote and sung about all the folks that hung around her dad. She seem to have thought they took advantage of hm. She also thought some members of the Memphis Mafia added to her dad’s demise. After Elvis’ death the Smith’s never reached out to Lisa Marie. I guess it felt kind of awkward for Lisa Maria to reach out to the Sniths’ . I get it, it was more of them and just one of her. The Smiths’ also never attended Lisa Marie’s Celebration Of Life. They said nobody invited them. Well, if you’re family you don’t need an invitation. Then they turned around and said if they were invited they wouldn’t have went. What’s up with that! If
it was my cousin that passed there nobody big enough to stop me from going.With the Smiths’ having that kind of attitude no wonder Lisa Marie never reached out to them. So sad! Elvis is turning over in his grave knowing the Smiths’ chose not to attend his only daughter’s Celebration Of Life. As far as visiting the Presley grave site, it’s open every morning for an hour or two for folks to visit the Presley gravesites free of charge. I hate to sound like I’m harping on the Smiths, but the truth is the truth no matter who you are. They complain they have to pay to get into Graceland. That’s a bold face lie. Let’s call a spade a spade. If they would reach out to Elvis Enterprises and let them know what they are coming.. How much you wanna bet they wouldn’t be charge. It’s just something to hate Priscilla about, but she has nothing to do with it! Again, Smiths’ if you would like to visit Graceland reach out to Elvis Enterprises and schedule a date with them and make sure you tell them who you are.

@@queenscott4572 one more thing sweetie. You mentioned the open visitation to the Presley gravesite which opened for me to elaborate on this issue. Presley gravesite open visitation is one or two hours in the morning. One would just have to call Graceland to get the specific time for open visitation to the Presley gravesites. As far as charging to tour Graceland. Why not, it is worth the money to maintain the high standards of Elvis’ Museum. I go every year for Elvis Week and I have a blast, Here’s wishing you well!

Again, I agree with this. Of course I didn't know him personally but in the interviews he gave over the years, he always gave me the impression that family was very important to him.

Honestly, I respected Lisa because she is Elvis' daughter and his only child. I was not a huge fan of Lisa's career, it's nothing against her personally or her music at all, I just didn't follow her career. I don't mean that disrespectfully either. Lisa had a beautiful voice and I think she tried her best to always honor her daddy's memory. I have always been a Elvis fan myself. So, certainly I was deeply saddened by her loss at such a young age. It is very tragic. Lisa's life couldn't have been easy, she lost her daddy at a young age. Her daddy was the greatest entertainer ever and she looked like her daddy. I am sure there was great pressure on her to try to walk in her daddy's footsteps, but nobody could do that or repeat that same success, it was asking the impossible. May Lisa rest in perfect peace reunited with her loved ones and the Lord.

When I saw Lisa at the birthday celebration at Graceland, I immediately thought that she didn’t look well. She looked very subdued. Thanks for sharing your thoughts about Lisa funeral. Families are very complicated.love from England. ❤️

I can tell this has really hurt you guys Priscilla got her head in the clouds and just never took Lisa around you guys or talked about her family and you know Elvis wouldn't have stood for it
Now that I think about it, wouldn’t you think that what ever grudge Priscilla has against Billy and Jo, she could’ve at least invited them to the funeral? I don’t think nearly as high as Priscilla as I used to - remember, she’s on the Elvis estate payroll. Can you imagine if Elvis were still here? I can tell you he would not be happy with how Priscilla has treated the family.

Elvis would have been so furious if he knew how you two have been treated. Im convinced that Elvis loved Billy more than he loved Cilla. I lost so much respect for her over the years!
She did wonders to save Graceland, but what she did to Billy and Jo is ungorgiveable

Very sad that you wasn’t invited but I suppose Riley and siblings were all just to devastated to think of everyone……. But Priscilla and Jerry could have( likewise the premier of the film)…….which, by the way I really enjoyed and admit to shedding a tear!
Like you Jo, I thought Lisa looked terrible at the Premier hanging hold of Jerry and wondered what was wrong with her,she obviously never got over the death of her son and was heartbroken.
Anyway, I am sorry for your loss and I’m glad you’re still happy and in love and taking good care of each other🥰
My daughter and I visited the states in 2010 for my big birthday, what a treat it was,8 days in Memphis and 6 in New York…….we didn’t stay in the hotels near Graceland as we knew there were plenty of places and things we wanted to experience…..we came to Graceland twice ,the first as a VIP and was treated very well, the staff and security were lovely although one young man thought it was very strange that I picked up a couple of dried leaves and a twig to bring home with me 😂😂, it was but I wanted something apart from photos and memories…
I have to say it now looks different and I’m not sure I want to visit again, it seems like a circus now!
I do however, watch on u tube the lady who looks after all of Elvis’s memorabilia that’s always interesting

Elvis would not be happy with how Priscilla treated his family. She surely made sure she had control of Graceland. Did she think because she moved to Hollywood she was above Elvis’ family’s southern roots? I guess she made no effort for Lisa to see Elvis’ side of the family after Elvis passed. Sad!
@@kjetin99 She did do a good job with managing Graceland, although she was rather ruthless in doing it. Elvis never intended her to be in charge, though. Vernon (for whatever reasons) put her in charge before he died. P was not an executor in Elvis' will. I lost respect for her when she started presenting herself as his "widow" instead of his "ex," which is what she is. Those are two different things. There are other things too. I'm not a big P fan. I'll leave it at that.
I don't think they should charge your family to go to Elvis's grave, I mean my God y'all lived there it's not like you needed a tour! They should be ashamed....I know Elvis wouldn't like them charging y'all to go to Graceland!

I think it's terrible that you know who didn't make accomodations for you both, and your sons, with their families, at the memorial. You are family. That can never ever be changed. Billy, you were treated terribly by Jack Soden too. Instead of firing you, maybe he could have opened his mind to your opinions, and talked it all out with you. But that is in the past now. I can see the pain and sorrow between your smiles and funny stories. I am truly sorry for your loss. This sure has hit us all so hard, and to be honest, I wasn't so surprised when we were informed she was rushed to the hospital. After watching her at Elvis's birthday, you could tell she wasn't herself. I do hope you can visit privately, and be given your time alone with her. Love to you both.
Well let’s not judge. Business is business. And that’s why Family shouldn’t be intertwined in business. It’s too hard. That’s sad that Graceland came between them. I wish someone could have tried to mend their relationship before they passed. It’s called forgiving. But it is over now but maybe they can reach out to Riley. She seems like a good hearted person. I bet she’d love to hear stories about their adventures and their Family history ect.
I love your channel, I know it would be uncomfortable for you to go to Lisa's memorial. That is a shame it is Priscilla's fault all of it. Riley was in charge of the funeral for her mother she knew the rift between her mother and the smiths, they had not seen or spoke to lisa since she was a child, she handed out the invitations , if the smiths never got one there was good reason !! anyway they did not need an invite if they were family !

I said the same thing Jo. Except I thought she just had a cold or something. I said, she sounds like she sick. I said, she's so tiny. Which she's never been that big anyway. I was hoping she was going to be okay. I was glad to see her at her daddy's birthday celebration this year too. It is so sad. I have been praying for all of you too, because I knew she was a big part of your lives when she was growing up. We're gonna miss her. It won't be the same now that she's gone.🥺🙏❤️

I started this once and I don’t know what happened but, I hope you don’t see it twice!! You guys were pushed out over money and greed!! Sone of the folks involved only wanted out what they wanted and not!! I think it is a disgrace the way Elvis’s family and the closest family he had has been ignored and treated like strangers. I’m so thankful you guy’s didn’t give up! I love the memories and the love you guys give to people like me, ( been in love with Elvis since I was probably five yrs old). Nobody would have stopped me from attending my cousins Celebration Of Life, Another thing, I’m not even sure you had to be invited if you were family. The Smiths never tried to reach out to Lisa Marie either in which they should have after her dads death, I guess it doesn’t stop them for talking about Lisa Marie on UTUBE, but what for. In life families are complicated, we don't know the whole situation but I truly believe if that happened in my family and I didn't attend, I still would grieve for my family member that I lost. I agree @alainfortin7087.Since the Smith’s weren’t invited they would not have a chair, would have had to stand, plus they likely would have been uncomfortable & possibly made the Presley’s uncomfortable.

Well,well Priscilla isn't a bloody Presley are sll she married E then divorced that's it it's over with! Priscilla kept the Presley name for cash cow period! Now Priscilla taking her own granddaughter to court lisa just been buried! WOW lisa I can see in interviews she wasn't close to her mother at all! Especially in the end ! Poor lisa R.I.P your eith your son and dad now but God she's only nearly 55 years old she's so young she was almost my age I'm 3 yes older then her my birthday is 10th of February 1965 . Soooo young still very sad indeed guy's

Prayers for you Billy and Jo....I will miss Lisa Marie, and it is sad to know she passed away at such a young age. Lisa did not look well at the birthday Celebration, and was praying for her. God can give you words of knowledge about people! It has happened to me. But thank you for speaking out too and that we n ow know what had happened as to why you werent at the funeral. THank you for being honest! I do love these stories and bits of information about the things that were about Elvis and his family. you tell! Gods blessings on you!

When movie Elvis came out I was kind of disappointed that there was no mention of you Billy and Jo
It seemed more like it was this great love story about Priscilla and Elvis she always has to make it all about her. You two should have been interviewed about Elvis when the movie was in the making and definitely should have been invited to the premiere of the movie after all you are Elvises real family and not Priscilla who is his ex wife and not his widow
The fact you were not accomodated to attend Lisas Memorial Service is disrespect to Elvis and his family and shame on Priscilla.She say that she wants to keep Elvis memories alive and if so she should have started with incuraging young Lisa to keep up with her fathers side of family and not just her own instead of involving her in scientology that probably messed her up even more.
I am sorry for ranting but it makes me so sad that they think that they are better when in fact if it wasn't for Elvis nobady would know that they ever existed including most of the so called Memphis Mafia

Billy was mentioned in the movie, and it was not a "great love story" about Elvis and Priscilla; in fact Priscilla did not have a very big part at all. Also, she was not involved in the making of the movie, she did not write the script, or have script approval, and she was not a producer and she was not a financial backer either. In any movie about a real person the time line is always compressed and people are left out in the interest of time and moving the story forward. It was not intended to be a documentary, and this has been discussed ad nauseum already. Just please get the facts right. Since Priscilla had never even returned Billy's calls 45 years ago, it's not realistic to imagine that she would invite them to the funeral, is it?
Did you see the movie? Priscilla was barely on it. The story was about the coronel and Elvis. Second Priscilla is not just the ex-wife, is the mother of his only child and grandmother to his grandkids. Also they weren't invited by Riley, she was in charge of the memorial, not Priscilla, and it was Lisa Marie's choice to not be in contact with them, Riley didn't know them and the people who were invited were close to Lisa Marie. Lisa remain close to Patsy Presley.

It should be free for family anytime they can go. Older people do not feel as well as others. They should be respected as especially closer relatives don't you think. It is a shame people live away from each other and can't or don't take or have the time to get to know each other and often. Life seems like more of a rat race now and too much hurt and rush. People used to make time to visit before now with everything going on including computers and cell phones, etc.

I do not think as many will want to see Graceland when it is overly commercialized. I did not like the Wax Museum at Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco. It wasn't just the smell of wax it gave me. I just didn't like it much. They had signs up near where Elvis Presley and Elizabeth Taylor were to go see Jack the Ripper. Lol after that with the wax smell I did not like it too much there. A lot of the figures were interesting and nice but some were not.

You all are good people and are doing what right, they know how you feel looking down on you with smiles.
Sorry for your loss 😢, life can be challenging for sure and we often times don’t understand why friends and family just fade , but it’s evident you loved Lisa and it’s hard I’m sure to feel excluded over the years for reasons you don’t understand. People just grow apart and intend times we never truly know why , it happens to us all. I’ve had a few close friends growing up and they don’t bother now to reach out or show they want to be in my life anymore, I just feel that we vibrate at different energetic frequencies and it’s a natural thing for connections to be lost , sad but true. Sending you positive thoughts and healing vibes from NH ❤

You do NOT have to pay to visit the grave site of Elvis. Every morning it's open to the public for free. Check on the time but I believe it's between 7 - 8 am.

I’m also a victim of being put out by family making me feel like after all the younger years are over I somehow don’t belong or included in their lives anymore which is so unfair! I’m just as good!
