I commented on one of your videos and you posted this link. I watched this video back when I bought my Spectre. Mine came in a box all apart. I got it back together and runs fine. Mine is in 40S&W. I found a guy who has lots of new old stock parts, including stocks, and loaded with information on them. He was a great help. He says there were roughly 1,000 imported to the States. 600 in 9mm, 300 in 40 and 100 in 45acp, the 45 is a double stack mag only. My 40 quad stack holds 22 rounds. On one side it says 22 round cap, and the side says 35 round cap. Good video you made on this also. Many learned about these from a video game, Goldeneye maybe. Never see them in shops or at shows, just not enough around.

Sheet metal design, however Italians no longer use it,the large conglomerate company Beretta manufacture PM12 and PM12S submachine guns which somehow similar by principal to Czech VZ24/26 submachine gun, also Mexican Mendoza HM3 also could be added to that group very simple and effective type of submachine guns,as for better ones I would preferred H&k MP7A1 as my favorite one, small 4.6x30mm caliber but deadly...
As the models that close reassembles UZI I would choose Polish PM84P/98 Glauberyt or Italian Socimi/Franchi 821 submachine guns..
The PM84P unlike USA Ruger MP9 is successful closed bolt design Polish made submachine gun, earlier versions have dual cocking handles at bolt,PM98 little improved and have magazine latch located under trigger guard,PM84P have latch at bottom of grip like walther P38 or Makarov PM8 or PMM pistols...
Advantage of Spectre M4 that it allow firing from one hand unlike anything else,it was primarily designed for Italian Commando units also anti terrorist organizations...
The Belgium FN P90 looks very clumsy in design with very unusual rotory magazine, something I won't choose to use in combat...
The submachine guns must be simple, reliable and with minimum amount of moving parts to prevent jamming unlike Czech Skorpion Evo,there is way too many components in design, some parts plastic and that model is no go to be used in combat, old original Skorpion VZ61 way preferred, better yet Czech VZ26 which simple and easy to use..
To design submachine guns is not hard,ut models like Uzi is pure failure
main problem position of recoil spring at left upper corner of bolt which creates disbalance during full auto fire, that cost bolt go out of alignment and after firing 3 magazines fourth one feeding lips would be band and cost damage...
Italians had made milled upper receiver housing, this eliminate bolt go out of battery plus recoil assembly placed correctly at center, this allow correct balance of the bolt....
Socimi or Franchi LF821 is no longer manufactured, original Socimi corporation had scandals and lawsuit of illegal gun trafficking which shortly result bankruptcy and shut down,it was obtained by Franchi which also short lived and been observed in 90's by Beretta...
Beretta was only interested in their own firearms design,PM12 took final stage and never been upgraded by something new, however Beretta 92/93R and 9000 series all based at Walther P38 design, idea was keep original P38 design but with increased magazine capacity, very little handgun took change and still reassembles very close with Walther P38,majority of Czech firearms uses also locking breech block like good old VZ52 rifle,VZ58 assault rifle and VZ/UK59 machine gun they all have locking breech block which aren't much differ from P38 variation..
By studying VZ58 and P38 locking blocks they looks identical at first glance but differ in certain ways, from my personal study VZ58 is very interesting assault rifle, there also was early experimental rifles and submachine guns that didn't lived long enough..
The USA published books doesn't cover much details about many European designs so it does requires to get some Polish,Russian and german literature to cover topics of missing links of certain models that was only as experimental prototypes, however some of them was probably even better than final versions of guns..
PM63 RAK looks overgrown Radom Vis pistol and was invented by same designer Pietor Vilnevchicz, just like articles says it was named RAK not because of cray fish or Reczny Automat Kamandasu but because inventor had cancer and didn't lived long enough to see his project comes through so RAK also translates as cancer from Russian and Polish..
In any ways that cancer submachine hun also didn't been stay long at Polish army and was replaced by PM84P Glauberyt mostly,in Russia there is identical version known as PP22 Buk,the PM84P is very simple to use, unlike UZI selector is just like pistol version flag type unlike sliding type,in order to prevent high rates of fire PM84P have rate reducer that drops bolt cyclic rate, from first glance PM84P looks like UZI but not entirely,it more beefier and more precise in construction, top cover is easier to dismantle unlike UZI..
Ever since I grew in Poland and later moved to USA I know much more about PM63 and PM84P Glauberyt,it better use one of them in battle,PM63 requires more practice, main PM63 disadvantage is moving slide that prevent targeting correctly, but if special diopter sight attached that problem eliminated, you need to keep your face far from moving slide or you get chance to get eye or head injury, despite that PM63 is not all that bad,the 9x18mm Makarov caliber allow more controllable shooting,if special ammo that used in Makarov PMM found results even better and would over pass 9mm Luger caliber,PM63 was designed utilizing those rounds unlike regular 9x18mm Makarov, penetration increases dramatically and guarantee accuracy..
There is numerous hundreds of different submachine guns exist, different size and length, some very compact another is very bulky, some even too light to be used..
For example to take Spectre M4 barrel it requires special wrench, barrel could be replaced by longer length and Spectre would turn into carbine variation but stock is required for that..
Another less common submachine gun is Italian Franchi LF57,it seems little identical to German Walther MPLlike beretta PM12 it also have front stirrup safety lever,it allow semi and full auto fire but like many other models it was rejected by Beretta..

Does the KH9 have a hydronic recoil buffer like other B&T PCCs?

No, they don't. Just like the P26 from B&T. Only the APC, SPC and GHM series have the hydrolic buffer.
