Yes. The reason for the tiny 3-speed was because nothing else would fit next to the door well. Also, I was told this was covered under a Mr. Goodwrench warranty! Imagine seeing Corvette owners shudder when you pull into the Goodwrench repair shop for service next to their puny Vettes... 😂
For the low-information people: This car was complete and total garbage. It had the quality control of a kit car made in someone's backyard. Horsepower numbers for the prototypes were impressive and very high at that time but the ones that were sold to the public topped out around 400 horsepower max. There's a reason why this company went out of business. Take a guess why?
