"Hell of a band"??... You've just admitted that Heaven and He'll are both real! Looking at the lives of these guys you have to admit they were no angels, either, so they are not gone to God's perfect Heaven! Are you? Jesus said "no one comes to the Father (God) but by Me" (John 14:6)
@@jwalk6074 I suggest you read Matthew 7: 1-6. And then review John 1:29 - "Then Behold the Lamb of God which takes away the sins of the world." Not just the pious, not just the Jews, or just the believers, or the righteous amongst the believers - but the entire world. The love of God is limitless, the mercy of God is eternal. Jesus warned not to listen to the Pharisees. And Saul/Paul was a Pharisee. The people Jesus condemned was limited to those who put themselves above God.

Yeah. I listen to a lot music and so know a row of artists and the genres that I listen to also have a big row of people who passed away before turning 30 and it's super sad. She beged for help and people made fun of her for asking for help and made fun of her saying she is on her own fault for her problems wich caused her to kill herself. Another of the suicid-deaths was cause someone who wasn't realated to a cheating-scandal but friend of the aleged cheating person got targeted by people after he said he thinks his friend was not cheating. They draged him so much about standing for his friend that he turned depressed and than thought only killing himself would solve the problem. 😥
Its stupid only the people who are best remembered as memories dies young. People only get to live the time they bring with them. According to u all great artists who lives today are the worst. Which I refuse to believe
Elvis made rock world wide. Elvis the first rock star in a chronological sense as well. John Lennon said that if Elvis hadn't been there, the Beatles wouldn't have existed
I saw a Guardian news article on a great Elvis Presley theory. The theorist behind that article actually said that it’s not quite rock and roll excess (even if it’s still one of the major culprits along with a bad lifestyle), but rather inbreeding (between his mother’s parents who were first cousins), which mostly led to the passings of both Elvis and his mother. It’s both sad and disgusting at the same time.
Elvis’s such a wasted talent. Still wondering how would it be if he had the chance to do a World Tour. He would’ve be the biggest artist there is,not even MJ will top him
@@GiordanDiodatoShe did have a miscarriage and was not able to attend the funeral. His mother found out via the TV and started screaming. It's said that this case is the reason why relatives are notified of deaths before the names are released to the media. It doesn't always work, though.
This video made me realise that even (outside of this video) many musicians I knew had passed away on one way or another. For the kind of music I mostly listen to, the majority of deaths are from people under 30. I sometimes feel a bit sorry when I read about someone's death. Even thinking of what they leave behind is super sad too. Chester Bennington for example left a wife and 7 (!) kids behind, wich sounds extremly sad if you think about it.
You've forgotten: Jerry Garcia, Terry Kath, Phil Ochs, Tim Hardin, Mimi Fariña, Peter Allen, Billie Holiday, Duane Allman, Hillel Slovak, Gene Vincent, Robert Johnson, Steve Marriott, Elliot Smith, Jaco Pastorius, Steve Ray Vaughan, David Byron, Sarah Harding, Rick James, and probably some more. But most of these people were outstanding and prominent musical artists. Can't forget them!!!
I think I was affected the most by John Lennon's murder and Karen Carpenter dying from anorexia. When the Beatles were together it was Lennon I most admired. When they broke up it was Lennon's albums that I bought. I purchased _Double Fantasy_ on December 6, 1980. I still remember the first time I heard Karen Carpenter singing _Close To You_ in the radio. Such a beautiful voice. My friends used to give me the business because I had Carpenters albums in my collection right alongside my Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd and Who albums. Nothing chills me out better than listening to a talented female singing her heart out.
You got that right I got the business to believe it or not but I don't care I love her voice she seems like an angel and now she's singing with the angels continue to let her relax you I know I do😊🥰💯✌️
Thanks SRG, this list is seriously daunting as a musician myself, it pains me to think how these incredblble artists that inspired generations, have come to their demise. I just don't know what to make of it all tbh. They're all obviously heart breaking but the self inflicted ones are the hardest to cope with 😪 May they all rest in peace and be creating heavenly music for eternity 🙏
Damn, Richie was in my age when he died, how sad is that! 💔 I don't even listen to his music, but it's a pity he was under 20 years old when he died, he had his whole life ahead to live! 😭
Thanks for the re-upload SRG. Hopefully this one has enough glue to actually stick. There's a few people missing from the list, but it is still a great list. So many died in plane incidents is the thing that stands out to me.

I can relate. I have some family members that liked the oldies and they're alive and well, but two family members I will mention that sadly passed on was my grandpa Drew and grandma Rose. Rose, to be specific, used to listen to TLC and stuff so that was how my mom was familiar with the group. It would be 6 years since my grandpa passed away (he passed away at the beginning of June 2017) and 2 years since my grandma (not my dad's mom, she's alive and well, talking about my mom's mom) passed (November 2021). I will never forget the day my grandma/abuela passed away, it was truly a sad day, we were all crying. The sadder part was that no one knew she had cancer until it was too late, plus I haven't seen her prior to her passing since 2019 :( I'm 19 years old now and to this day, I still prefer older music over newer music, although there are newer artists that I do like.

Its stupid only the people who are best remembered as memories dies young. People only get to live the time they bring with them. According to u all great artists who lives today are the worst. Which I refuse to believe
The fact that the Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, and the Big Bopper all died in the same crash is quite sad.
what's sadder is that Ritchie was only 17 when he died.
@@GiordanDiodato Yeah.
Not to mention the fact that they're the first three people to appear in the video. Pretty scary.

His wife reportedly had a miscarriage shortly after she heard the news.
@@GiordanDiodatoShe did have a miscarriage and was not able to attend the funeral. His mother found out via the TV and started screaming. It's said that this case is the reason why relatives are notified of deaths before the names are released to the media. It doesn't always work, though.
Marvin Gaye was shot by his own father, man that’s messed up😭
On the eve of his 45th birthday
That gun was bought by Marvin so he can protect his home
💔💔💔
And to think that his father was abusive to him before the murder. So tragic.
@Jonathan Paipilla Oh for sure. He was nothing but an insecure man.
Yeah and two other baby mamas

I have a lot of that
Original albums, no remaster.

The youngest was Richie Valens who died at 17

I can relate. I have some family members that liked the oldies and they're alive and well, but two family members I will mention that sadly passed on was my grandpa Drew and grandma Rose. Rose, to be specific, used to listen to TLC and stuff so that was how my mom was familiar with the group. So so sad that we have said goodbye to so much talent so young and needless
Never underestimate the power of these musicians music
Короткие, но яркие жизни.Они оставили свой след на Земле и в нашей памяти. Всем ушедшим музыкантам Царствие Небесное, Мир и Покой живущим людям.
Is this the fourth time I gave it a thumbs up Random? Thank you, love ya bro:)

Michael Jackson was my favourite musician. He was The King Of Pop. I Miss Him So Much!
I miss him too 🥲🥲

R.I.P John Lennon and George Harrison 💔💔
John Lennon & George Harrison died at ages younger than 60 in 21 year difference 1980-2001
The one who should be included is Randy Rhoads, lead guitarist for Ozzy. Died in 1982 in a plane crash.
Plane crash? wow so rare!
@@valentinotera3244 are you really happy?
Yeah Randy Rhoads was the guitarist for Ozzy Osbourne’s “Crazy Train” song and fun fact: The guitarist for Micheal Jackson’s “Beat It” was Eddie Van Halen!
Aaliyahs passing at 22 was sooo tragic.😱😳
such a coincidence that her and Buddy Holly both died at 22.
And avoidable. They overloaded the plane and even warned her ahead of time of the dangers. But haste and impatience resulted in the death of everyone on board.
@@Dunkaroos248She was also apprehensive of going on the plane as well. It had been the first time she traveled without her family/main support system I believe. There were reports saying she was given a pill that would male her fall asleep as well
I could'nt get over, how pretty & beautiful, "Patsy Cline" was. She was one gorgeous, looking lady. It's a pity, that she's not around anymore. R.I.P, all of them.
Best country singer!
what'd her feet look like

We will never forget Michael Jackson and Scatman John... Rest in peace
Edit: How did I get so much likes?
Never knew half these singers passed away sad lose of talent and creative souls.
it's kinda funny that Scatman John became WAY more popular over a decade after his death.
@gnu_andrew yes
Even though I rewatched this video a few times since it was re-uploaded for the upteenth time, I was hesitant to leave a like until *right* now! 😅
That was really interesting thanks for posting it. I was amazed at how many people died on small plane crashes and how many musicians I was familiar with but I had forgotten out had died young. If this gets taken down and you have to have to repost it I would recommend adding members of the Allman brothers who died In motorcycle accidents in the same street location within a year of each other
You left out Eazy E 1963-1995, Jam Master Jay 1965-2002, James Brown 1933-2006, Vanity 1959-2016, Bonnie Pointer 1950-2020, and Bill Withers 1938-2020
Think of someone who died before he made it to his 60s
I know he wouldn't get on this list since he was 71 but we lost Alec John Such (original base player for Bon Jovi) earlier today. ):
That should be on the 2021-2022 List at the end of the year with Michael Nesmith (The Monkees), Ronnie Spector (The Ronettes), Meat Loaf, Gary Brooker (Procol Harum), Tom Parker (The Wanted), Naomi Judd, and Andy Fletcher (Depeche Mode)
You missed 2 very important rock musicians in Chris Squire and Alan White from Yes.
Alan and Chris from Yes were both over 60 when they died
In the UK, Aaliyah and George Harrison had posthumous number ones, in consecutive weeks. Her's was her latest single and his was My Sweet Lord. 🎶💔
Yes,that was in January 2002.
All songs I Know
0:06 Buddy Holly - That'll be the Day (1957)
0:15 Ritchie Valens - La Bamba
0:23 The Big Bopper - Chantilly Lace
0:29 Eddie Cochran - Summertimes Blues
Me when I saw Tom Parker died in 2022...
Omg! I miss him! Rest in peace, Parker! 😭😭😭
1988-2022
Native American guitarist, Jesse Ed Davis - 1944 ~1988. Backed up Harrison, Lennon, Clapton, Dylan, Gene Clark, and of course, Taj Mahal. And the list does not stop there.

You missed a few out including one of the most influential Nashville session musicians who played on Bob Dylans Lay Lady Lay ( Nashville Skyline album ) and George Harrisons "All things Must Pass" album , PETE DRAKE Pedal Steel Guitarist who died aged 54 in 1989.
He played on more sessions than all of the other Steel Guitarists put together during the 60s and into the 70s,
I remember all of these acts, especially John Lennon and Harry Chapin. A friend and I had tickets to his show a week after he passed. So very sad. And my friend’s daughter excellently portrayed Young Selina. That girl is going places.
Thanks for posting this, I remember all of the acts, but the cause of deaths was very interesting 😀I just wish I could share it.
Thank you

The way Kirsty MacColl saved her son's life by pushing him out the way before the powerboat hit 😔
Mostly, I hear negative stuff about the artists after they pass away and Kristy and Harry are pretty much the only ones that didn't have allegations against them (if I'm missing any tell me) 😔
@@your_local_questerian what did George Harrison ever do? Freddie Mercury? Dusty Springfield, you know nothing. seriously.
