I'm chopping vegetables in the Netherlands while watching someone in Canada painting a bird house. It's calming. We live in crazy times.

I could watch this for hours. The chirping and the outdoor sounds as you painted were so pleasing. This felt like a literal hangout. I loved it so much.

I think the bird house was meant for you a gift from a Neighbour welcoming you to the area, such a lovely thing to do. Homemade as well which is a nice touch and you did it proud with your paint 🎨 job and tree 🌲 placement. New to your Chanel and loving it, just catching up on all of your videos at the moment.
The final result, on the tree, looks so cute, like something from a fairy garden. And those overalls look so comfy!
they are my favourite pair by far. They are truly the comfiest thing I own! The denim is so worn in from whatever past life it had before I thrifted them.
I mean, it seems pretty obvious to me that the birdhouse fairies bestowed you with a welcome gift! Loved the video.
I’d say keep the white and then go for trim that pleases you. Trim colour can be changed every couple of years! Maybe even match the trim to what you’ve used inside the rooms one year?

I love how your house resembles Green Gables and it's cute since you love reading so much but a colourful house, like the lavender you used in one of the rooms, would also be so fun. Whatever you go with, I'm sure it will be great

Edit: mostly because the colour palettes of the dresses the girl wear in school. Very specific, I think muted is the word but idk.

An absolute charm of a project! Turned out lovely, like you say. ALTHOUGH it felt familiar to me the whole time. Walked around for awhile and realized it’s like the color of Monica’s door in Friends! I hope the birds have many good couch hangs.

Something about an unnamed "welcome to the neighborhood" gift is so delightful to me! Like vigilante happiness, or something like that. So much fun. And I love that you used sticks to stir the paint. Kind of makes the whole thing feel like summer camp. :)

Once I found your channel a few days ago, I've been binge watching all the renovations, but I think this one is my favorite. It's so calming, and there's something nice about not having any audible dialogue.

I say go bright and fun on the outside of your house! I wanted yellow siding, white trim and blue shutters. My hubby wanted "clay"...(nope!) I won and we both love it! Winters can be long and gray up north, so I say add some spice to your life and a bright spot in the gray! (Plus the delivery people will always be able to find your home!) :D
Adorable! BTW...Victorian era houses were often painted in very bright colours. Just look up some of the colour combinations they used!
Having said that though, my favourite colours for houses with siding is...white with dark green trim! 😀 I am repainting our trim this summer and have just gone back to a traditional forest green (it is sage at the moment...and before that it was a bluer green). I love green. ❤️

I’m only two minutes in but I love that you’re mixing the paint with sticks. I thought to myself, ah yes! Here is Ariel mixing up some✨ magic potions ✨ it brought me back memories of mixing my own magic potions in the backyard with mud and sticks. Yours are a prettier color 😜

I say repaint your house vibrant, happy colours! What's to lose? You've made the decisions in your house that will make you happy, and excited to live there. I think the outside should get the same Ariel treatment! And it's just paint. You can redo it anytime. I say live it up!

I’m a fan of colorful houses that stick to a monochrome color scheme. Like different tones of the same color family. But you could also keep the white and go for a fun trim color like teal

I’ve seen where people will leave out baskets with different colored pieces of yarn and birds will take them and weave them into their nests. I’ve always wanted to try it!!
Haha, I use sticks to stir my paint all the time! Maybe the bird house fell out of someone's truck driving by your house, and then another kind person saw it there and thought it might belong to your house, so they put it on your porch and went on their way.
I hope the birdies appreciate the house!
