I just did the interior installation. All stage 2, no circuit boards. Like some of you, I ran into the same issue. I blew a fuse two fuses. At first I thought I accidentally touched the copper with my screwdriver. But on the second try when I tried to input the bulb into the housing, the tip of the LED also blew the fuse. All this was from the vanity light. My personal advice is to either disconnect the battery or disconnect the fuse. I went with the second option as it was much easier. If you have no idea what you're doing, you'll still be able to do it. The fuse box is on the driver side. Pop the little door open and on the top right of the fuse box is a 10amp LP fuse (see owners manual and you'll figure it out.) Your car also has a few spares you can use in the engine fuse box area or you can buy a pack of 4 for like 3 bucks at Pep boys. Use a plier and just pull the fuse out and replace it. Good luck. :-)

I blew a fuse (I think the 10A LP) one, which rendered my map lights, glove box, and trunk lid lights no longer working. I replaced the fuse, and those three lights started working again. However, the vanity lights still don't work. Do I have them in backwards maybe? I kinda ran out of daylight today so I will try flipping them tomorrow. Also, where is the engine fuse box area? lol
John Casey Hope I'm not too late or hope you got everything fixed, but if you need spare fuses it's in the engine bay. For you it's on the lower right hand side in the box area. You should find a few spares. Anyway, try to flip them. My suggestion is to unplug the battery first or remove the fuse. Let me know how it goes! Good luck!
Thank you for the video, If i am just replacing the license plate lights for the back license plate... Do i have to unplug the battery still? Can i just do it with the car off and then test the lights. I noticed in the video that the light went on as soon as you plugged it in the license plate spot,? I assume the battery was on for this ?

Raul, we always suggest unplugging the battery while installing our products. This will prevent blown fuses. When you don’t unhook your battery, it can cause instant voltage spikes or improper grounding, which will cause issues.

msjconnolly Try not using the screwdriver when adjusting/removing the bulbs. In this particular video, using a screwdriver was not an issue, but it often varies from vehicle to vehicle.
+girlsrockurboyz Those small bulbs can be tricky to remove! Have you tried threading a piece of Scotch tape behind the bulbs to pull them out from the middle?
The entire housing will not come loose from the headliner. I've put all my might I have on it. The headliner wants to come with it and I don't want to tear up my new car.

This is called ghosting, and it's a resistance issue. You will need to install load resistors if you would like them to turn off completely.

Sorry about that! A trim tool could also work well for vanity lights!
