Wow! The locomotive's batteries still worked even after the derailment. When I've had wreck the battery is the first to go. Hope the crew was safe and not hurt in anyway.
The locomotive yelled FUCK THIS SHIT THIS JOB SUCKS I'M TIRED AND I QUIT AND YOU ENGINEER AND MR. CONDUCTOR GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY CAB BEFORE I REALLY HURT YOU. The Locomotives thoughts in his mind: I WONDER HOW MUCH THOMAS THE TANK ENGINE GETS PAID.
Skipped through the video, i would go nuts because of the bells for almost 6 minutes. There's no action in it anyway. No crash and no recovery. But that must have been a hell of a bang :-) I guess if someone stood there, he would be a pancake by now.
+wolfgang548 those engineers should know that running a locomotive backwards derails them every time!!! i'd watched that in that movie "Unstoppable"!!!!
+rear speaker Unstoppable taught me that an SD40 has 5000 Horsepower! And that knuckle couplers can only be opened up on trains that are in motion. It also taught me that locomotives only have front steps to get on. You can never get on from the rear steps or get to lead locomotives from trailing units. LOL!
This rail was put down in 1983 and is the entrance to a switch yard. Last week crews started replacing ties in the area. This has been 14 months after the incident
+Robert Gift Pretty irrelevant in the circumstances but anyway, locomotive prime movers shut down automatically when forever whatever reason they loose lube oil pressure - like being on their side for instance.
When I was younger I had stop just in time two freight trains on the same track. I wave to the engineer to stop . He started to slow down and I ran to the other train to stop they just stop in time. One guy jump off train. They got the train and just stood there afterward. Very close call.
I remember a train derailment that happened in my home town a long time ago, and one of the freight cars was hauling boxes of cigarettes and they were all over the ground,I also remember alot of people volunteering to help pick them up,if you know what mean lol.
+John Robinson don't GEVO'S and GE TIER4'S catch fire when they lay on their side???? i think its programmed in their software as"unplanned obsolescence".......... 3 years later and nobody gets it.................
Next time you do a video like this, get away from the crossing. That bell ringing during the entire video is annoying! When I lived in Houston I spent a lot of time in Spring watching trains.
+BrambleFurs JayFeathers can Hunter Harrison be shot by a sniper???reminds me what would happen if donald trump ran a railroad!!! 2 years later, Harrison maybe dead, but the PSR virus is all over the U.S.
The locomotive is just taking a nap.
+Bassotronics Sleeping on the job!!!
+Brandon Lockaby Oh hes gonna be fired!! xD
Bassotronics 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Bassotronics Basically, he is hugging his own K5LLA
Bassotronics 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
bet the firemen wanted those damn bells off
Wow! The locomotive's batteries still worked even after the derailment. When I've had wreck the battery is the first to go. Hope the crew was safe and not hurt in anyway.
Mike Lcml5c m
Crew was fine. The locomotive that's flipped over was unoccupied.
Anyone film the engine being set back on the tracks?
I guess you could say UP is UP-side down! XD
yeah.... UP certainty wasn't "up" to the task eh?
HA! Nice puns. But they still have to lift the locomotive back UP! LoL
Onion Specific RR
Just down the down from Wunsche's Saloon! Was there 5 years ago, beautiful historic town....
Looks like that ace was a dpu on the rear the headlights on dim.
I was thinking the same. Plus there are rolled cars on both sides of the crossing.
Skipped through the video, i would go nuts because of the bells for almost 6 minutes. There's no action in it anyway. No crash and no recovery. But that must have been a hell of a bang :-) I guess if someone stood there, he would be a pancake by now.
0:40 'this way UP'
was the locomotive hurt?
Well that is a dumb question. LoL
Hopefully not, it being tons of iron and steel
Union Pacific SD70ACe #8472. Anyone know if it was made by Athearn Genesis or MTH?
+wolfgang548 those engineers should know that running a locomotive backwards derails them every time!!! i'd watched that in that movie "Unstoppable"!!!!
+wolfgang548 it was made by life-like trains in Baltimore,md.
Good one. LOL

only thing i learned from"Unstoppable" is that 2 SD40'S have more brakling capacity than 3 GE ET44AC'S ,thats all.
Train:I am so tired of this job l want to take a nap off the tracks!
Me:you are SO lazy to get up you silly nut train!
could someone turn the headlights off on the model train!!
This ain't Motel 6. UP, they leave the lights on to show the battery is included. :-)
Hahahaha
Ohhh boy, how does this happen? Track issues?
Wonder how much that cost to clean up and fix it up 🙄
How did she flip?
first dibs on the horn!!!!
was the locomotive engine working in that position? i hear it..
How did this happen?
It does make one wonder about the state of our railroad system today.....
This rail was put down in 1983 and is the entrance to a switch yard. Last week crews started replacing ties in the area. This has been 14 months after the incident
You go up on You-Tube and ask for train derailment videos - if you watch them all, you'll be here all day. There are a lot of them happening....
its better then the 1970's for sure. now for those local state passenger light-rail lines, i would be scared.
What could've possibly prevented this locomotive from falling over after a car picked the switch???
@@AbelG8781 nothing.
guys this train is owned by bachman
Damn concrete ties and "clips".
Looks bad. What went wrong?
Car jumped the track sending others over
Cause?
Hope they turned the engines off to prevent internal damage.
+Robert Gift Pretty irrelevant in the circumstances but anyway, locomotive prime movers shut down automatically when forever whatever reason they loose lube oil pressure - like being on their side for instance.
+formidable38 Yes, if no oil pick up and therefore no oil pressure.
At least no fatalities and it didn't block the crossing.
3:35 there goes his week
the locomotive said I am to darn tired IM LAYING DOWN
Yes it was tired. I'm surprised actually I hope everybody is OK.
Okay can someone shut the crossing bell off, we know the train is, um, delayed.
When I was younger I had stop just in time two freight trains on the same track. I wave to the engineer to stop . He started to slow down and I ran to the other train to stop they just stop in time. One guy jump off train. They got the train and just stood there afterward. Very close call.
The level crossing should be off because the trains not moving at all. The wheels have left the rails and most of the carriages are on the rails
Sounds like the locomotive is still running I think.
THAT IS A TRAIN YARD WITH ABOUT 30-40 LOCOMOTIVES

They've got themselves a hell of a mess to clean up
I could imagine God’s hand picking all of that mess up and rerailing it like a model train on a layout
it doesnt work that way, they have large cranes that are on train cars to pick up the damaged stuff.
I heard, kids put grease on the tracks.
He's REALLY on the ground!
Wow. i didn't even know this happened.
I'm pretty sure throughout a lot of this video you can hear the ACe idling...
yes it was.
ooppsss Got a clean up in isle 6
ar the guys that drive the train ok?
+nicknack 2001 Yes. This was an unmanned pusher at the end of the train.
I remember a train derailment that happened in my home town a long time ago, and one of the freight cars was hauling boxes of cigarettes and they were all over the ground,I also remember alot of people volunteering to help pick them up,if you know what mean lol.
and karma happened when they all got lung cancer
Well... i saw old town road
this is what happens when you test out your "homemade" golden-eye model armor train on real railroad tracks.........at least no one got killed.
What Happen My Train
Not your train shut up
I bet someone forgot to tighten the lug nuts...
Oh yeah that engines idling
Did the driver got inside?
THAT IS WHAT YOU GET UP FOR NOT USING A GEVO!
+John Robinson don't GEVO'S and GE TIER4'S catch fire when they lay on their side???? i think its programmed in their software as"unplanned obsolescence".......... 3 years later and nobody gets it.................
Looks like heavy chit on bad track....🐼🐧🐧
What a mess.
Next time you do a video like this, get away from the crossing. That bell ringing during the entire video is annoying! When I lived in Houston I spent a lot of time in Spring watching trains.
Who care about the bell.
how come it always h as to be a EMD why not As junk as GE
because the GE tripped the EMD on to the ground.
thats union pacific for ya 😂
+Spencer Dibble You mean CSX?
+Nick Stewart nice meme
When Did CSX Buy Up?
They never did...
+BrambleFurs JayFeathers can Hunter Harrison be shot by a sniper???reminds me what would happen if donald trump ran a railroad!!! 2 years later, Harrison maybe dead, but the PSR virus is all over the U.S.
