Barny, incredible work as always! Small correction, E doesn't actually have resistance to poison sting! This is a known bug in Gen 1 only that causes the game to erroneously display "not very effective" despite the fact that bulbasaur's grass type actually negates the poison resistance it gains from being poison type. The game calculates correctly and deals x1 damage but because of the way the typing is coded mistakenly produces the "not very effective" text despite the 0.5 multiplier not actually occuring. Gen 1 is absolutely wild lmao

7:24 Fun fact, the text saying "Not very effective" here is a glitch! Its actually normal effectiveness, since poison is super effective against grass and not very effective on poison. The damage dealt is correct though, only the text is glitched.

If I was running a speedrunning community for a game that had complex SRM or code injection tricks, and wanted to recruit new runners, you'd be the first person I'd turn to.
