- Hello, I'm a big Foreigner fan. I made this video because there were only live versions from this video on RUclips. It was my first time I worked with WMM, so it ain't super.
All rights are for Foreigner©. This is not my music, I only used it. The video is made by Syblpfan©
The greatest debut album of all time- even over Boston, Kansas, etc. Every tract pure perfection...
Oh my! I haven't heard this gem in years! One of the greatest top to bottom albums of all time!
WORE this album out! Entire album is great! Foreigner came out of the gates strong and maintained that excellence!
This song is still solid , rock solid. After nearly 45 years, I still enjoy it.
This is one of my favourite songs of their Foreigner album, but every song is amazing.
c c barker and they were just getting started... Double Vision. Head Games, Foriegner 4. Agent provocateur. But you can't look that good and be old enough to remember those days 😉 Rock on everybody. When things get bad isn't it great we can just jam to these incredible old tunes and forget everything 4 a while?
I had the album a long long long time ago. I was a very young dude 19 yr old in the Navy at the time.
This also is my total favorite song off this album. Never gets old. wish bands were still writing good stuff like this these days.
for sure!! today nobody writes like this or plays this way man iwhs i could go back to those days! for sure! man its hard to believe it 40 years ago the year of star wars, close encounters of the third kind, good times! thank u foreigner! for my preteens!! u guys mad my sumers fun esp with girls, haahah kissing times to there music first time i kissed a girl was to feels like the first time perfect for ur first kiss!, rock on
I get very irritated when I read comments like this. There is SO much good new music out there. They just don't play it on the radio.
The flip side of "cold as Ice" 45! I bought it in 1978 (I was 11) & played this side more!!!
This album is a must have, for a Rock collection. The great thing about this album and it's music, it's as relevant today as the day it was released. Shalom
one of the greatest guitar solos ever.... Praise the Lord..
In my teens, I listened to this album til it was scratched!!!! Still loving it!!
T.L. M 2 years later a LOT of us are still loving this album.
T.L. M. That was back in my day how do i miss thoes days
Foreigner always threw the best concerts
Foreigner were greatly underrated. I enjoyed their music more than Aerosmith, Bon Jovi, Van Halen and many other huge bands in my opinion.
whoever did the lyrics, you are so right about awsome guitar solo
I think that this song as the last track made the album...they really smoked it with this song
My first concert in Bham AL Feb 4, 1978 (Alice Cooper turned 30 that day! Didn't find that out til later. I will never forget that awesome night with my 2 best friends (the ones you have when you are 11 & 12....you never have friends like that again). One I am still in contact with. Reached out to the other (the one who brought matching shirts in different colours to wear. I got blue, she got green & the friend I still talk to got.the peach tone one by default, but it looked great on her!) The oldest one, well, she's got her life..... we are 55 & 56 now. We may be old but we are still pretty AND got.to see the cool bands!!! Thanks for letting me reminisce
Foreigner....."I need you"..one of the greatest Rock in Roll guitar solos of all time...You will be very glad you did...Thanks Jamal
What a bad ass song from a bad ass album and still rocks some 40 years later!!
Saw 5/14/1977 at the Uptown Theatre in Chicago. Just amazing!!!! Front row !! Great Debut Album
THEY WERE GENIUS TOGETHER, in those days we couldn't wait for the next album,FOREIGNER HAD IN THEIR DNA MAN,GRAMM was the reason for the success, the screaming guitar work of MICK well that was icing and the rest is history
I love Original Foreigner. I'm a huge Brazilian fan of them and member Lou Gramm fan club on Facebook. When I was born Lou was a rock star. One of the most beautiful and powerful voices of Rock. Thanks for posting.
Another underrated song by Foreigner!!!!!
One of the first albums I purchased as a young teen, outstanding from start to finish!
I remember this song as the last song on the B side of the album.
It certainly was and I literally wore the grooves out on this rock classic as my girlfriend(now wife) and I had it on a constant loop on my dad's turntable almost every Friday and Saturday night during my senior year of high school. The first time I heard their debut album on my buddy's cassette deck in his VW Beetle while we were cruising around town one cold, dark night I was instantly captivated....been a diehard fan ever since but their debut album has always been my favorite.
Still love this album ! It was my first rock album !
You picked a good one. I listened to this more than once a day for the first year of its existence.
awesome song, album and guitar
i was 10 when this came out i love this band killer songs love the hits but the deepcutts awesome! omg!!
Just saw Foreigner in Eugene…OUTSTANDING!
Not the same thing as sadly none of the original members are performing with them these days...including Mick Jones. I'm not a hater as I saw the new lineup a handful of times between '05 & '07 but even then they would occasionally play Headknocker or Break It Up. These days they only play a greatest hits setlist so you don't even get to hear a longtime concert like Starrider. They don't even play Long Long Way From Home anymore and that tune was their opening tune for years. Kelly is an outstanding front man but in his prime Lou blew me away on many occasions. After longtime instrumentalist Tom Gimbel retired Mick hired a new guy who doesn't even play sax. That's almost criminal in my eyes for a band who performs Urgent every show.
@@hondaphan4172 yes their front man really does their songs justice. It's good to see when they can play their songs vocally close. But yea Lou had an outstanding voice and very well the greatest rock voice.
I love each and every one song from this album 'tll Agente Provocador,,,,,
Probably best song they ever made.
I love the whole album
my mom passed at 8:52 am dec 24 th comfort with lou and company
❤
love that
Like all of they cd-s and traks , and , as you said - this one is one of they best !!!
One of their best rockin' songs, off probably their best album! Gramm's vocals are so powerful! Remember four years before this, the bassest, Rick Wills helped write Frampton's Do You Feel Like We Do but left before Frampton Comes Alive came out!
At 17 I would pass this one up, saving it for later maybe??? Well it's later, Im 62 and digging it....
This is a hidden gem from their great first album.
this is off the 2nd album I ever bought in 1978. Great song!!
This song is really beautiful! Love ❤️ it!
haven't heard this song in year's

Thank you!!!!
If I wasn't listening to Bon SCOTT it's LOU GRAMM!!!!
Love it! Thank You. You may want to adjust the lyric font contrast, and position? :-)
Sick good
Great gongs
3 badly need someone.
@thenintendogamer wtf starrider is a great song.
I. Agree.
I just bought a 7 inch single with this song and cold as ice on the other side. 2 bucks well spent.
Today
2019 ANYONE🥀🖤🥀
Eh Starrider was definitely the weakest song on here
Listen to the caljam 2 version, you'll love it!!
BryanX 64: I couldn't disagree more if you're still around to read this. I didn't think there was a weak tune on the entire album but my least favorite was Fool For You Anyway. When Mick formed the new lineup in '05 with Jason Bonham on drums he would always play a long, nasty guitar solo during Starrider which would bring the house down.
