I was up past 2 am watching these videos... inspired I ordered every Russian tip I could find... they'll be here in less than a week, and the 19th of June I'm making treats for a church Father/ Daughter dance ♡♡ I'm so excited and inspired and kinda scared I'll mess things up.... thanks for these videos tho PS. The music is really relaxing and beautiful
Thank you for your kindness. Your video tutorial is the BEST!! it is a big help for beginners like me who loves decorating cupcakes ❤❤❤❤ May you continue to bless others for the talent you have. Continue in making helpful video tutorials.. God bless you & your family 😊❤
Also how do you keep the frosting at the right consistency after piping and holding the bag. My frosting seems to melt and I'm sticking it in the refrigerator every few minutes. Your work is beautiful.
Thank you. When working with buttercream flowers, I do not turn on oven & also lower temperature of my working space. If buttercream melts while working, you can try to use double piping bags, wear gloves or as you mentioned above, stick it to the fridge for few minutes.
lovely! amazing little works of art. it looks like you're squeezing very hard (but carefully) -- are you? is it difficult to push the frosting through the tip? is it more to do with the thickness of the frosting? thank you!
It’s about both buttercream consistency & the room temperature in which you are working. On that day, the weather was very cold, that’s why you can see I applied more pressure than normal :) In generally, I try keep my working space cool so that buttercream won’t melt in my hands.
Lately, Shinny Korean Butter Cream has becoming more and more popular. For me, I just use my Swiss or American BC recipe, beat in cool butter to get this effect.
Having just discovered this channel I'm in awe of your skill and creativity. These are incredible works of art!! Watching you create such beauty is both inspiring and daunting at the same time! As an absolute beginner I'm getting the impression that the consistency of the buttercream is critical, is the consistency of the buttercream the same for each flower and before I start digging (this is the first video of yours that I've seen, it came up on my recommended and I'm SO glad it did!!) do you have a video focusing on how you make your buttercream and what consistency it should be? For the sake of giving it a go (and being EXTREMELY impatient!!) I'm tempted to buy a pot of shop made buttercream and some plain cupcakes just to have something to practice and play with, do you think shop bought buttercream would do the job to practice or do I need to make my own?
Please check out website: anhbakes.com for American & Swiss BC recipes. I piped with store bought buttercream before and have no issue with consistency. Just the flavor not ao great. I prefer making my own BC & cupcakes.
@@ANHBAKES oh great thanks for that. I wasn’t planning on eating the shop bought stuff (yuck I think it tastes awful too!!) I just thought that if the consistency’s ok i’d use it to practice my technique to save time and wasting ingredients. Thank you so much for taking the time to reply 😁
Would so someone kindly let me know where I should get the tips from and what brand? I am a new starter but want to get good quality items. Thanks so much!
I use Swiss or American buttercream in my videos (recipes in description box). This one is ABC. The trick is to beat in chill/cool butter (this also create shinning texture). Besides, I keep my working space cool so that butter cream do not become soft or melt when working with it. Hope this helps :)
Hiii gorgeous thanks a lot for sharing your skills.. you are really talented ..keep doing this kind of videos...i would like to ask you are you using just American butter for floral decoration????Or you use another frosting like swiss butter cream???? Can i use swiss butter cream to make flowers decoration??????😘😘😘
I use them interchangeably. I actually prefer Swiss butter cream more than American BC. You can check out description box of each video where I noted what type of buttercream I used.
Hello what buttercream did you use for this video? I will try to do same decorations just i am very beginner so watching way more then doing LOL. Anyway thank you for your tutorials and happy baking+decorating.
ANHBAKES I use Swiss or American buttercream in my videos (recipes in description box). This one is ABC. This is just ABC with butter and no shortening?! 😳 Idk how it doesn't get soft on you! I have made floral cupcakes many times but my darn hands are so hot and start turning the frosting to mush about half way through
I do not use shortening when making buttercream because I do not like the taste of it. You can try double bags, put your bag to the fridge for few minutes, and also keep your working space cool/cold to help slow down buttercream melting. P/s: I have cold hands 😄.

Dear can you tell me the cream in a vedio is susrian or amircan ?
So beautiful
Very pretty!!!!! Which large round tip did you use to make the center of the green pompoms?
I've never seen butter cream be so shiny. It almost looks like you just colored the butter. Not sure how you got it to look like this but very pretty.

que tipo de crema es la que usas para el buttercream?

I generally use Wilton, Cakeboss & Ateco piping tips. For Russian piping tips, I use RFAQK.
I just bought a bunch of tips at Michael’s.
Thanks for sharing this video. I want to ask what icing consistency you are using? It is so stable.
