- The night after Roman Reigns won the 2015 Royal Rumble, WWE was forced to cancel Monday Night Raw due to a blizzard. They instead aired a Triple Threat Match between John Cena, Seth Rollins and Brock Lesnar, held interviews and even had Michael Cole, Booker T and JBL discuss the upcoming WrestleMania.

I remember this. I was weirded out that I was watching the ACTUAL Royal Rumble for free.
The first Royal Rumble in 1988 aired live and free on USA Network.
I don't know what happened specifically, but does anyone remember when they showed triple H versus undertaker no holds barred match, the raw after the ppv. I was a poor kid and seeing my favorite wrestlers go at it for free was so awesome
its really weird when other people say that beacuse for us asian viewers we get to watch it on the same cable subscription as the tv tapings

I think I remember that day, Dean Ambrose showed up to the headquarters while the rumble was on
I remember this. I pleaded with my parents to let me stay up to watch the Rumble since we didn't get it the night before.
That day my grandma told me to got to bed early and that shit still hurts 😂
When they aired triple h vs undertaker no holds barred wrestler mania match , my mom tried the same thing but she saw me so excited she let me, my 2 goats for free was so crazy

Terrible time. Nearly 10 years later I still can’t stand Roman due to the lengths they went to make Roman a top face. Blue eye contacts, holy hell 😂

JBL was through 2014-2016 was a HUGE part of Raw and he always made the show and wrestlers feel like bigger stars than they are. When he left, you can tell a void was there.
As much as true it is, I'd still appreciate Graves for the job he's doing

I lived in CT when that storm hit. We were out of power for a week & straight up buried in the snow. It was pretty bad.
Ya we got 38 inches of snow in less then 15 hours that was the first storm in 15 years of plowing snow I had ever stopped plowing and went home because it was to dangerous to even be on the roads WWE made it seem like they just wanted to give ppl a treat truth was even they didn't know what to do and had 6 generator trucks running the whole show to broadcast that night I know 3 of the drivers that were stuck there for the night and the following 3 days after

As a Roman fan the most I remember from 2014-15 was him having his break out years, became champ first time in 2015 and it was one of the best title changes in recent memory

Damn, I remember that Raw like Yesterday. Since I live in India, I left the morning for school after watching that Cancelled Raw live and we all were Discussing about that. That was a Chilly morning here too.
I was mad because I had just purchased the WWE network to watch the ppv just for them to show it for free the next night 😑

I remember this mostly for that infamous Roman and Brock interview if i remember correctly but it was hella fun rewatching the Triple Threat

I was working with my dad and it started to snow heavily that morning. I get home that night and all i see is sitdown interviews but it was a good show nonetheless and it pulled it high ratings.
I remember walking to the xL center in that blizzard😂……didn’t think they’d actually cancel the show
That night WWE split Raw between WWE offices & the arena that night.
So wrestlers slept in the arena & the WWE offices so they were able to have some matches in the arena.
I'm from west hartford, I hadn't been into wwe for 2 years at that point, but I can confirm that storm was legendary, people still talk about whenever another storm starts coming by
That was how I viewed one of the best Triple Threat matches I've ever seen and a Royal Rumble match without paying for the WWE Network or On Demand.
That had to be the most insane thing WWE had to do but totally worth it because it's better to be safe than sorry down the line.
I had tickets for this show! I was so sad it got cancelled, especially cuz the storm was relatively not that bad, but was able to get to the following Smackdown
I vividly remember turning on raw the night after the rumble, which being young at the time and new to wrestling I thought was the best PPV of all time. But then I turned on Raw and was bummed out that there was no wrestling at all.

I was in middle school and like most days for me, it was AWFUL. I was depressed, got bullied, teachers didn't care, and when I tried to fight back I was the one in trouble. Came home to get a ear full of bullshit from my shitty step-grandfather & my grandmother being a nervous wreck over 1 C on my Report Card & making sure i did my homework when that wasnt even the problem. Didn't have much to help me through rough times like that day & two of the three things that did at the time weren't available except WWE. I was getting ready to watch what i thought to be a regular episode to then find out I get to watch the Royal Rumble instead really helped me day. It was awesome to watch a paperview specially the Royal Rumble which I've never seen before

Man, I completely forgot about this episode. That was a bad snowstorm. That even hit here in DC. I remember a few friends and I walking along the GW parkway cause the snow was up to our knees. I took acid that night too.
