I've seen a lot of people asking why some items don't drop with Double HP/DEF rolls and here's why ONLY Memory items can roll double Defense (main stat and sub stat) and Auxillary items can roll double HP (main stat and sub stat) The other items can only get HP/DEF as a main stat, not a sub stat. ONLY Sensors can have 'Map Mp' in their sub stat and ONLY Processors can have Max Shield in their sub stat. Sorry for not pointing this out in the guide I was saving it for the next tips and tricks but I thought necessary to share it here now.
Nice video, maybe make another with the best stat combinations and why... For an example, a great sensor for bunny would be Max HP, with consumable drop rate and mp recover/max mp. Something like than or specific combos to look out for!
Fyi, each of the different external components only have 1 specific resistance and stat modifier that can be rolled. This only concerns the substats (which can roll from normal to ultimate values). For Drop Rate modifier increases it works similarly. Different Drop rate modifiers can be on specific external components. For example the Auxiliary Item can only roll kuiper and module drop rate modifier increases. I won't go into further detail for just now since I didn't check all the modifier increases yet. The first one by slots rolls HP as the defensive stat and fire as the resistance stat. The 2nd one (sensor) only rolls MP as a stat and chill resistance iirc. The 3rd one only rolls DEF and electric resistance. The last one only rolls shield and toxin resistance. You can check that yourself by checking all the external components that you drop. This is my observation thus far. EDIT: Excuse me for not writing item names. Currently laying in bed just b4 sleeping. EDIT 2: Cleared up some of my mess because I was not clear enough and confused a lot of people (probably).
This is wrong because my components have multiple drop rate chances in them such as gold drop ,equipment drop,kuiper drop, module drop and consumables drop
This is definitely not true, in regards to the stat modifier section. I know a lot of the items can roll with double stat modifiers such as Auxillary items CAN roll with both Module and Kyper drop chance increases. Although you are right they can only roll 1 specfiic resistance.

Nice bro and thank you. It's been 3 days since I've started playing and I've been grinding like mad for Bunny. Tried locating these components, ran so many games and wonder why I'm not getting what I'm looking for after 10 games but now this gives me a better idea what to do.
Just farmed that mission last night, well farmed is a strong word, took about 2 runs of it to find the perfect sensor that I wanted. The drop rates are insane!
I think the update removed defense substats from the components. You can't get 8000 defense anymore. Also if I switch presets on my inventory screen, my components disappear. I've lost all of my components that I had saved prior to the update. The defense for my characters is now half of what it used to be.
Would it be possible to do a video on component sets? I think they are mainly farmed from bosses and void bosses, but there is little information available to which bosses drop which sets. Thank you for doing these videos, they are extremely informative & helpful.
hey dude one question? the external components have some kind of specialization, for example the reactores being better in shields or the memory's in defense.
But what if i haven't unlocked hard difficulty? Everything drops from the acquisition table except the Glacial processor, all normal missions it says it drops from, doesn't. And because im on normal I cant bring up the table this guide shows from the map so what do i do?

u can also farm the sets from the bosses (level 100 sets will drop from hard bosses) but hang man drop level 95 and its better overall due to the set bonuses it gives
Hi Guys, is there any way of upleveling components (before endgame) like in the way with weapons? I collected cool set- & gold-components, but their level is too low. I already have 4 Descendants and the devourer died today 🦖. Loving the chilled process of the game (~50 hours in the game). ❤
Honestly it depends on who you are playing, I play bunny so I'm aiming for 3 of my pieces to have the Max HP increase in the main stat and 1 item with defense and the sub stats are just whatever I think it best, however see the pinned comment before trying to farm any specific drops.

So, you found a couple mission you can manipulate to keep monsters spauning and farm thenm for their drops, 25 drops in a single mission is crazy, but now my cuestion is, do you know of a mission you can do the same but with weapon drops? now my man that would be amazing, because of wepon parts you get when breaking weapons...
Unfortunately there is no way currently farm items more efficiently other than random drops or from mission rewards. I would recommend you farm which ever mission you can do the fastest and hope for weapons.
You really shouldn't omit the fact that the hard mode boss sets can be farmed anytime and all the time. They pretty much make these components redundant and circumvent the weekly rotations. Don't wana be scaring away players before they hit hard mode...
Does anyone know how the consumable/equipment enhancers work for missions? For example, let’s say I want to farm the ultimate bunny code, the amorphous pattern drops at a 20% chance after you complete the mission, so would having a .15x increased consumable drops on an external component increase my chances from 20%?

i try to get the veterans set on lv 100. the ingame wiki gives me a few mission (on hard) where this components drop. do i have to wait until the rotation match with these mission to get my veteran components ?
in case you can't defeat the boss and need to upgrade your gear, you also have a higher chance of getting the roll you want from missions as they are faster

I was just doing this farm last night and got god rolls on these components. The amount of hate you’re getting over factual information is insane. People really need to learn how to use the map features and help systems in this game and quit acting out on RUclipsrs.
its not called epic, its called rare. also this is not a complete guide, not by a long shot. you merely only explain wher to get them, not all the stats you can get on them or where to get sets etc.
There's no fear, don't worry. Nothing is going away forever, and nothing is being locked away, it's just on a weekly cycle, which should honestly help the longevity and health of the game. This week, you farm Sensors and Processors, next week you farm Auxillary and Memory. And every zone has really good farming missions so don't worry about missing the "good" farming spots.
So not only a really Time expensive game, with extremely bad RNG and drop rates, trying to force you in to the cash shop. Now you telling us that they also added FOMO.
Unfortunately yes some of the story content can be a struggle, especially with some colossi being a wall in progress. Fortunately a lot of mid-endgame players still visit normal difficulty to redo colossi to open amorpheus materials.

@OneKauz honestly, I brute forced through the colossi with random groups, the Pyro one took about 8 tries before we succeeded, that was the crappiest one, but I also noticed their weaknesses and switching to a descendant or swapping weapon mods to correspond with their elemental weakness helped A LOT and I was able to rush to hardmode within a few hours. But maybe I got lucky
How ? Even though it also took me a good while but that was because I fucked around alot with stuff. If you struggle better check some video about mods for weapons and descendants. Just having double HP mods+def+all res or specific res makes a huge difference. If you struggle with colossi dont do them when your own character is low level. Try around 35+
So I have more than one week to farm the stuff is just on rotation this title is click bait and the video is essentially a waste of my time after 57 seconds nice
Since this is a new feature and the reward rotations being new as well, it is worth noting. TFD menus are buried, confusing, and poorly organized. A lot of us just got to hard mode and have no idea about these details.
i really hate this game because of these stupid skins.. they dont match the game identity ... its purely to make money which sucks .. i am literally thinking to stop playing this game because of such stupid skins which kill the immersion in the game

I got one drop during my first play through just now, ultimate HP, with gold DEF and resist, it's only lvl 60, but so far is better than rare 85 gear.

Certain bosses drop the sets, you can find which one by going to the component in the access info page and finding where it is linked

Cycles meant they come back and there's nothing forcing you to use the cash shop, stop echoing other people and make your own opinion.
