This is so magnificent. I enjoyed every second of your video. I said to myself, I’m not buying anymore art supplies but this looks like so much fun.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I appreciate that you share your successes, but showing the process, you also show the mistakes and remedies! Some great ideas here! I have a hard time painting loose. I tend to put in way too much detail for what I’m trying to accomplish. Thanks for the tips!
Thanks, of all my tutorials this is my favorite. Not only was it fun to paint, its turned out so nice, I’m very pleased with it, and I’m so happy everyone likes it too. 🤗 🌸 💕
Thanks so much! Yeah, it’s a push pull situation with alcohol inks, it’s slippery stuff and likes to do its own thing…quite a bossy medium, but I love the challenge. Thanks for tuning in!!
What a great tutorial followed with a demonstration!! Renewed my interest in alcohol inks. Have explored in the past using airbrush etc to blow out the petals. This looks like such fun as am a loose atmospheric spontaneous painter. Thinking how you use bleed proof white or white acrylic ink i kept expecting you to pull that out and toss some in!! Is a fun medium to do a wet in wet method by putting down 90% or so alcohol first then dropping in and tilting etc. (Well ventilated space of course) Thank you Debra am sitting with baited breath anticipating more!!!
As always I really enjoyed your tutorial then I found myself getting concerned when my favourite flower disappeared, I need not have worried as you replaced it with an even better one. Fabulous work so informative and amazing ❤❤❤
Ha! Yeah one minute a flower will be there then next its gone, that’s why int he beginner I said things will change, its part of working in that medium. But regardless it was fun…and i order 16 more large sheets to paint more…i want to sell these on my website coming soon…can’t wait!!!
I can't tell you how many times I said, "Just stop!" out loud during this video. Yet every time you would add something different, I could see every step was necessary. The painting is so lovely, and I love the moody vibe! Now you have a new subscriber as of today!
Thank you so much for sharing your techniques. You have helped me improve on my watercolor techniques and making them very loose. I am going to try alcohol inks soon. Love your teachings. You are awesome and your paintings are fabulous.
Truly breathtaking. I’ve watched so many alcohol ink videos but oh my gosh I was thrilled to find you. You are a gifted artist! Thank you for taking the time to share your knowledge with those of use that need your inspiration.
Wonderful! I love that you’re pushing past your impairment and still having fun. My next tutorial will be a little more challenging for me, and you’ll see me push through my own impairment…so stay turned for that one!!
Hi, I've dabbled in AI inks for a few years, but never have I seen anyone being so loose and instinctive using them. I have gone through so many emotions watching you paint 😅 from dark and muddy. You worked through those stages to produce a beautiful piece of art, which is fabulous . I loved your end result. You're a true artist! Thank you so much for sharing ❤️
First time seeing an artist doing a nice flowers bouquet. I never think I can paint with alcohol dye paint and few brushes. Did you ever tried on a canvas primed with the best ever stain blocker on a large regular canvas or wood panel?
This is a fascinating technique. The colors are gorgeous & the final result is stunningly beautiful. I noticed that the right side of the painting looks a little empty though - is that something purposely done?
I usually leave a portion of my painting open…I feel it give the flowers a place to breathe. When you close it all in it feels choked off. Hope that makes sense.
No, i find it helps. I get very bored doing that same thing over and over, sometimes I’ll dabble in oils, acrylics, drawing…etc. and when i go back to watercolor, I just pick up were i left off.
Oh absolutely, i will never stop painting with my first love. But as an artist I like to work in all different mediums to fully expressly my artistic desires.
This was by far the most excellent, informative Demo I have ever seen using alcohol inks. I am a fan. Marie Hatt
Thanks so much! It was a ton of fun, I’ll do a few more in the future, as i bought bunch of huge sheets of Yupo and AI !!!
This is so magnificent. I enjoyed every second of your video. I said to myself, I’m not buying anymore art supplies but this looks like so much fun.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks so much!!!

Hola
Maravilloso trabajo.
Me gustaría saber como conseguir el papel de polipropileno.
Gracias y saludos.
Genius

None off my flowers keep thier definition 😢..Stunning work ❤
Where do you get such large sheets of yupo paper? It's beautiful ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you, if I remember correctly it was Blick.
If I’m going to use yupo paper what should varnish it with when I’m done ?
a spray varnish, several coats, then hang behind mat and glass.
Kindly guide about the paper which paper you used and company name plz?
I mentioned in the video, it’s Yupo.
What size yupo paper is that? Came out beautiful so inspiring!
Heres a link to the paper…. amzn.to/4bFy90C
This is so cool! Do you find it challenging to switch between alcohol inks and watercolor?
No, i find it helps. I get very bored doing that same thing over and over, sometimes I’ll dabble in oils, acrylics, drawing…etc. and when i go back to watercolor, I just pick up were i left off.
@debralynrosenbachart thanks! I switch up all the time too, lol!
Hi Debra Lyn, are you going to work intuitively today., 🤭❤👍🏻🤭❤️🌹😊
Not sure yet
Beautiful. What paper is used.
Thank you…it’s Yupo
So this yupo paper?.
Yes, the heavier weight one.
What kinda paper did you use ?
YUPO paper.
Cool thank you ☺
Your work is awesome. I hope you and yours are fine and safe. Mother Nature has not been kind.
Thank you! My daughter lost everything and car in Helene and now today we’re bracing for Milton…it’s been very stressful.
Will you still be working in watercolor?
Oh absolutely, i will never stop painting with my first love. But as an artist I like to work in all different mediums to fully expressly my artistic desires.
