- Broadway star Rebecca Luker sings "All I Ask of You" from Phantom of the Opera in concert with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square celebrating the 85th birthday of LDS Church President Thomas S. Monson in "Golden Days" concert.
I went to college with Rebecca and lived across the hall from her. We would stand outside her door listening to her. She was so sweet and is gone too soon.

and kindness will never be forgotten. Rest in peace.
The choir of angels must sound so much more magical now you're in it. Your beautiful soul and voice will be sorely missed here. A true angel of music
RIP dearest Becca....I will always love and remember you.....
I guess I should watch TV or often because I had absolutely no idea that Rebecca luker had passed away. My God what an exquisite talent. My 1st exposure to her was at the Kennedy centre honours for Julie Andrews where she saying from the sound of music. I am truly saddened and heartbroken that this beautiful light this wasn't voice has left us so soon and so young. As with all the other greats of their genres like Marilyn Monroe and James Dean and Elvis Presley, Luker's star will forever shine brightly and we will never know what it was like for her to face decline.
I have a passion for beauty specially classical music but Rebecca Lukers choice is as beautiful as Chopins music and all the truly beautiful music. When I'm feeling out of sorts her videos are my go to music. Now she is with the angels gone all too soon
Choice shd read voice
I am heartbroken. Now you will sing with the angels.

Love and strength to Danny and her family.
lovely performer. saw her on Broadway as Marian in THE MUSIC MAN. rest in peace.
I had the privilege to see Ms. Luker as Christine in Phantom back in 1989; never really heard of her until then, but after hearing that wonderful voice, I tried to see her in all her later work. The two best were in "Darling of the Day" and at the 92nd St Y with Sheldon Harnick.
RIP dear Rebecca. My very first Christine at the Majestic Theater in NY. I'll never forget you.
Me too! It was my very first Broadway show. I was 10. She was my first leading lady and I fell in love with her. I was able to see her in four other shows throughout the years. I can't believe I'll never see her again.

What a gift. Just beautiful.
I am truly grateful for this video. When I came home early from my mission due to a medical condition, I remember feeling so down, so low, so ,much like nothing. I felt my Saviors love through this song, as she sang it. Such a pure and virtuous soul and voice. It was like an angel sending a message to me from my Father in Heaven. All he wants is for us to love Him, thats all He asks for. Anywhere we go, he'll go to. So sweet, so precious. Thank you
v
I was served my mission during this devocional. I play this song since that time
Rest in peace. Such an angelic voice.

Why does such a beautiful person with such talent have to leave us early. I would give my life for her to still be with us. RIP Rebecca.
Heaven has another angel. RIP

I find it simply amazing the Tabernacle choir to offer us, besides hymns that extol the glory of God, songs like this ...

Adorable, amazing, stunning, heavenly performed by Rebecca Luker! I do listen to that wonderful song from time to time - once, twice, threetimes, never too much! Thanks!
I Love Rebecca Luker Saw her years ago in Phantom...and Show Boat What great memories....
Life an be so cruel sometimes....she had so much more to offer us
She was needed more in the heavens. We look at life through binoculars, god sees the broad picture all things past, present and future are before him. I can’t wrap my head around knowing everything from all perspectives at once. In his wisdom it was time for her to return to that god who gave her life.
In 1990 she sang the best duet with Jason Grae on PBS called "A Tea For Two. It actually sounded better than the Does Day's Original and Doris Day was my hero." I net her in Stdio 54 when she sang with her teacher. I gave her a big hug after telling her the duet she sang with Jason Grae was the best I ever heard. That duet is on RUclips.
God works in very mysterious ways. I do not understand why God could not save this amazing talent. I miss her so much.
Rest in peace. You have left this world to soon!! GOD be with you!!!
This is a beautiful rendition of a beautiful song of love, by a beautiful person/women.
