A funnel would have helped when filling the base, you raised some concerns about the welding and the stitching on the top, the rest looks okay, be interesting to see how it holds up over time, keeping it about 3 to 4 feet from a wall should be enough, it seems to spring back pretty well and it didn't fall over
Thank you, nice review but I disagree with the design part at 7:40, they're all like that and I feel like you didn't think that one through, you could have used a hose, a 1$ funnel, a watering can for plants, a kettle, etc.. there is so many things that fit into that hole, it's not that small.
It's a great bag overall. If the hole was a little bigger it would of been nice. But I agree a funnel and slow pour would of worked as well. I didn't have a funnel at the time I made this video.
Sand works best (coz if water begins to spill out...) although it (sand) is a total pain to fill, also if you are filling with water, please use a funnel. What's the standing height?
They have this thing called a “funnel” which would have made a huge difference when filling it with water. The instructions on mine says “not recommend to fill with water, as water inside the bucket will move, and water inside will result in unfavorable smell”. You are lucky, your bag assembly arrived with all the hardware installed, everything on mine requires assembly.
Thanks for the review and apologies for the mess. I appreciate you including the frustration points that we will all learn from in our installation. Any sense for how far from the wall to place the base given flex?
Hi Mike, thank you for watching and leaving a comment! On top of replying to every comment and giving advice I do like to include everything in my videos. I try to keep it as raw and unscripted as possible. Everyone else does things by the book, but I like to do things my way. It provides a different perspective for everyone on RUclips to watch. As for the bag, I leave mine about 6 ft away from any wall or object. That is mainly to give myself room to move around the bag. I think you can probably get away with four feet if you are working with a tight space.
How would this be for delivering low roundhouse leg kicks? Like is the bag low enough for that and can withstand some decent kicks in it's lowest region? (say calves to above knee on a 6' man) or maybe you'd not hit the bag and instead the shocks? Thanks
It really depends on your height. But I can safely say that you would probably hit the shocks. I also don't recommend this bag for kicking, unless you are just doing very very light kicks. I haven't used the bag since I made this review. Mainly because one punch sends the bag flying even with all the sand in it
Hi, great review! I had a question, I've ordered the bag but intend on using it in my kitchen before I am able to move it to the garage. Anything to bare in mind? is the base easy to move around when you want to position it somewhere more permanent, I intend to put 25kg of sand in it when the bag arrives and not go too hard, or does this not matter ? thanks
Hello thanks for watching! You will need 60kg of sand. At least that's what mine took. As for moving, if you are on hard wood or ceramic then you can slide it slowly. Just watch for the suction cups catching. You will also need to be careful not to break the bag off its bracket. Hope this helps.
@@MicBot If I move it I intend to disassemble the bag and then move the base, if its too heavy to move, do you think it’s straight forward to remove the sand? thanks again for the reply
@@stingerfist Removing the sand will not be easy unless you have a tool to assist you. If you disassemble it then it will be much easier to use. When I had to move it more then a foot, I used a dolly which made it much easier.
The bag I got is solid, but filling is a pain. I got some sand for it but I need to dry (thanks Amazon). The suction cups aren't too great though but with weight in the base I can see this being a good piece of home workout equipment.
@@Kelvin_Clain long story short I was caught in the moment while filming and wanted to keep the camera going. Hence why I didn't stop to look for a funnel. The punching bag is filled with sand now and even with sand it's still to light to withstand any punch or at least mine. It's not just dead weight and used by my kids.
@@MicBot hmm yeah, but strike your opponent, using metaphor of bag - no push him by fist this bag initially was developed by military engineers and was meant to train soldiers in hand to hand combat

Is this a comedy video? Watching you pour water all over your floor for no reason was funny. There are many other ways to fill it up. You picked the hardest way possible.

I was just going to say that exact same thing, I’ve used several different brands of free standing bags and always need a funnel.
It's the Entertainment aspect of my channel

Lol thanks.
I used a 3 dollar funnel to fill mine no problems

@@MicBot Thank you
It’s not a poor design I’d say ur bucket is too big should of used a jug it was way better for me
What ever you do dont use a funnel when filling 🤔
Trust me, if I had one I would of used it.
I bought play sand for the bag, would that work? Or should I use water?
I used 3 bags of play sand. Definitely better than water.
@@MicBot I have two 50 pound bags, how's that work?
@@222047 I used 3 20kg bags from home Depot. 2 isn't enough to fill it.
@@MicBot good gracious. Alrighty then, I think that's what, around 200 lbs?
@@222047 132lbs or so. I also added water to moisten the sand afterwards to add extra weight.
Funnel?
Hi, do you have any updates on this bag 2 months later?
Hello, I haven't used it as much as i'de like but so far its holding up well. It's definitely good bang for your buck in my opinion.
@@MicBot Thank you. I also have laminate floors, do you think the suctions will work well on them?
@@scopedynasty laminate might work better then hardwood. Even after filling mine with water the suctions don't hold well after a few good hits.

Yes but not very easily.

None of these seem like actual flaws of the bags performance itself. If it was filled with sand from the status it would’ve been perfect
Does it work on carpet?
It should, but it won't be stable.
Que medida son los tornillos??
How do u remove the springs
can you move it around easily when it's filled or you need more than one person?
Not easily and I wouldn't recommend it. I tried moving it alone and bent the springs.
How much water?
do you think it is worth the price for a 12 yr old??
