Kumusta, Jonah. I just found your channel and it is nalingaw kaayo! You have a nice teaching style and not boring haha. I also live in Davao with my FIlipino asawa. The way you explain the usage and some culture makes learning easier than simply repeating. Understanding about each word or phrase helps a great deal. Excited to watch all your videos. Salamat kaayo for your hard work. God bless!
Thank you, though the most common phrase in Sierra Bullones, Bohol, that they respond to kumusta ka, is "o.k. lang", i didn't see that one covered. thought i would mention that
Hi, Miss Jonah. My partner, who is American, wants to learn bisaya (Surigaonon) but refuses to watch video tutorias on RUclips. Will you let me copy your teaching style? It really is step by step, and it is wonderful. Rest assured that I will send it to him instead of uploading it to RUclips. That's if it's okay with you.
Miss Jonah, could you be kind enough to make a playlist of your Bisaya language lessons starting with the oldest lessons first? I think that would be helpful to me. Thank you in advance for any help.
Hi Don, So far, I do not handle private lessons. I will let you know if I decide to do so. In the meantime, you can join my Determined Class by clicking the Join Button. There, one of your perk is to request one lesson for one month and I will cover that lesson in my next video.

Is the Bisaya language similar to the Spanish language?
Yes. It is similar because we, Filipinos are colonized by the spaniards for a very long time. They influenced our culture and our language.
