@Baron I've heard the same thing too. So far, the only other songs that have release dates are Granite and Aqua Regis, if I'm not mistaken.

Definitely a contender for best song they've released to date. So varied, so heavy, still gorgeous and sexy as hell. And so cohesive! Still can't believe it. The hype train has exploded out the station. Worship.

Ive always told fellow musicians that you cant be afraid to mix genres, feels, grooves, etc and Sleep Token just put on a master class on making multiple genres work within one song

This song took me so many places in the span of 6 and a half minutes. Shivers, excitement, insane energy. They've evolved, and it cannot be stopped 🤘🤘
My favorite thing about all these reactions to this song is so many people want it to go heavy at the end but they go sexy and everyone just vibes with it.
Some interesting influences in this one. Deftones in the chorus 100%, MAJOR Gunship vibes with the 80s style solo and synth work, Messhugah and Vildhjarta in the breakdowns, 90s r&b in the funk down. I immediately thought of Genuine-Pony when I heard it 😂
Sleep Token is next level. They take music genres and expectations, and throw them out the window in favor of creating something beautiful, perfectly written, and outside the box. Like what genre is this? Metalcore, djent, thall. But also FUNK? Like. 2023 is Sleep Token year, no other band is gonna beat this album.
These 2 songs have been 2 of my favorites of all time like holy shit the vibe everything is just incredible

There's no limits to what Sleep Token can do, and they showcased it all in this masterpiece.
It’s like they’re edging you the entire song. They give you what you want maybe 2 times, and all other times leaves you in suspense so that the brain tickling madness hits harder.
This song showcases Vessel's vocal skills so well! And his screams! Yes! The last 2 minutes - damn! Was at a ritual in September and hoping they come back to the states soon. Worship! (schluk)
THE CHORUS, the jazz-fusion guitar solo right before it, and the funk/prog ending. It's a nuts track. So good.
It's like they made a song that we didn't know we wanted or needed. It's magic.

I thought that Periphery would easily take my album of the year... Holy hell... Sleep Token subverted I think ALL of our expectations in the best way possible.
I think these songs are what folks were expecting from "This Place Will Become Your Tomb", which is a record I absolutely love, but THIS feels like a proper follow-up to Sundowning.
I’m not a prog head at all but even i can agree that this song was so sexy… actually it’s better than sex also I like how every reactor is losing their sanity over these two new Sleep Token tracks. Schluck.

SHLUCK! Agreed man. Loved chokehold just that little bit more but this was incredible. My wife was reading across the room when I was listening to this over my speakers and as soon as the end section started all I hear is a “WAIT WHAT” and we were hooked.
This song live is next level. I've never FELT a song quite like this. I felt this song down to the very cells that make up my body. The tour for this album was hands down the best concert I've ever been to

Ahhh you guys make me wish I knew about ST a few years ago cuz I’d do anything to hear this song for the first time as an already established fan!! Just got into this band a few mos ago. The Summoning was the second ST song I heard and I have had their whole discography on repeat the past few weeks!
You are so fun to watch and enthusiastic. This Boomer Grandma is new to Sleep Token. Only became aware thru RUclips reactions to these new releases. This is the best band that I have heard in a very long time. I now have their entire catalog and play daily on shuffle. What a ride they are! Keep rocking and I'll keep watching you! Thank you!

This song man... the feelings I get from this song reminds me a lot of the same feelings I got when I first discovered them and listened to TNDNBTG/The Offering, and then some. I'm addicted and I'm not mad about it. Absolute masterpiece. shluck.

this was the first song of Sleep Token's that I heard all the way thru, and I wasnt sure I was a fan but the change-up at the end caught me so off guard in SUCH A GOOD WAY. now listening again I definitely find myself liking this song a lot more. like I see this song growing to be one of my all-time-faves. also the build-up to the funk/folk ending was so much more intense on the relisten (I say folk end bc it low-key reminded me of Hozier a bit)

Birb, dude, I said this on another channel, but the upward slides remind me of Tori Amos/MJK, and the sexy part reminds me of Hozier. This is how you make heavy music palatable to a pop audience, and it is absolutely amazing. This was the fastest I ever hit the pre-order button!!!

this was my first Sleep Token experience and i have to say that i was thoroughly left in a sea of shock and awe, the first half was like something that you could easily, EASILY hear as an epic end track to a game, then that surprise change up left me saying to myself "What the FUNK!?!?" lol

I love how the drummer always does a double snare hit blast but it works so well
What I love is just how giddy this song, and hell this band has been getting everyone. To watch quite a few different content creators having this big fucking smile, the bouncing off the seat, just...fuck man. It's a reaction that not a lot of bands can get, and it's one that speaks volumes. Honestly this shit is phenomenal.

So I've been a ST fan for a couple years now, and after MUCH digging it seems like Vessel is the principal songwriter of this band. I know they have touring guitarists, but from what I can tell Vessel and the drummer do all the writing. I'm not gonna say what Vessel's real name is, but he's got older (pre ST) stuff online, and he seems to be a very accomplished guitarist/songwriter/keys player. I'm just wondering how much of these newer songs are still written/played by him, or if the touring musicians are actually contributing to the creation of this stuff now as well. Great stuff, Sleep Token! Keep it up.
