I am conflicted. I love golgari but I hate playing discard spells. I'll just stick with value creatures and premium removal. It's easy enough to play fossilize and vain ripper without having to resort to hand destruction. I love midrange but can't bring myself to play discard. Anyways, great video and the for the editing you did for the "honest mono red" was very funny. Thank you

Love the deck, but I'm short on wildcards. Any replacements for Trespasser? I also only have 2 Liliana and no harvesters.. Any way to Frankenstein something useable?

At 14:27, hitting the mainland with demo field was a surprising and I think erroneous play. If you have a fair bit of mana to work with, you’re often better off holding up Field and using it in response to a manland activation (but before it resolves, in case they have creature protection). That way they waste a lot of mana. You also lost the chance to wait until a crime synergy like Lookout arrived, at which point using field would net you an extra land (you had plenty, but thinning out your deck is always good).
It's certainly debatable, but I can think of a few sequences where we end up tapped out, which would give them a chance to sneak in an extra free attack.
I really want to use the freestider lookout in brawl and commander but I can never commit enough crimes
honestly I don't know how much of a buildaround it needs to be. brawl should have enough spot removal that you just get incidental value, no?
@@draconocor1309 I do t like running a lot of removal and I somehow never have other method to commit crimes
13:55 Am I maniac to think forcing them to choose between all their lands (and maybe the creature token) and everything else is the best choice? They take the lands, no resources. They take the other stuff, okay, but they're 100% stuck with just those two planewalkers for two or three turns.
The best way to know how to use the ultimate is through experience

What's the best way to get cards from big score?
We're very unlikely to get them from regular packs, so either use Wildcards to craft them or play a lot of drafts and hope they get passed to you.
At 7:31, did you not consider using Boseiju to destroy their Arena?
Maybe if we had a different landdrop, but not a fan of ramping my opponent this early in the game.
Just played this. I ended up having 3 Freestriders in play, with a scrapgorger to commit crimes. Opponent scooped because I had like 15 lands.
Sounds about right! A shame I didn't get those two going for more than a turn.
