Using a new 8-foot tall piece with two bells that has yet to receive its finish, Kevin reveals some of the ways he makes his windchimes ring better and longer.
I did come up with a way to make the bells not quite as loud as they can be. Because my studio is in a residential area I try to keep the noise down whenever I can.
@cougarman07470 Thanks! The table does turns on the cylinder so I can use that as a lazy Susan but what do you do with the rotisserie? Something to hold a piece horizontal and be able to rotate it? Have to think about that one for a while......
15 years old and still helpful, thank you for all your hard work uploading videos over the years Kevin!
My pleasure! Thank you for watching and posting.
Beautiful work my friend.
Thank you very much!
Neighbors love junkyard ornaments that make a shitload of racket. It’s good for property values.

Damn!! Lol. The username checks out too .
Magnificent!
Does a larger hollow ball (with sand for weight) make a better sound than a smaller solid steel sphere for the clapper?
Nope, it all depends on the diameter of the clapper, not the weight.
Lovely! Where did you find triangular bar? or did you fabricate it yourself?
Just made up what I needed. Always learning something new.

That's pretty impressive. Would love to hear that in a light breeze.

Where do you get the steel balls that go inside?
google steel balls and or spun metals hollow balls. I found mine at the local steel yard. King Metal online also carries them
