I like mini sizes cause it's more affordable for me since it takes me practically YEARS to finish a full sized product and I like to mix it up a lot. I know it's not a great value, but if a mini is gonna last me a year and I probably won't even repurchase it later, then it's actually cheaper that way. If it's something I know I love and will keep using, I'll obviously buy full size. That just doesn't happen much with makeup. Skincare on the other hand, I usually buy full size. Thankfully by this point I have figured out what ingredients work for me and I don't really stray too far out of my comfort zone.

That’s exactly how I feel about minis. Especially, for skincare products with active ingredients like Vit C which has a 6 month self life. Minis are more expensive in “cost per oz”, but full size is a waste if you’re not gonna use it.

I like minis, when tracee ellis ross came out with her hair line she had small sizes as well and that was awesome to me, bc buying full sized hair products to try them out is a no-go. i really wish more makeup products would take this approach seeing as we are ordering online more and can't go into a store for samples
Mini’s are a GOD send! I own a mini of just about every thing that I use in my routine and it’s amazing! I keep them all in traveling makeup tote and anytime my friends want to do a last minute trip all I have to do is grab and go
Mini: try it for cheap. I like it especially for powders so I can try the formula. Like the Laura mercier. Plus if you don’t bake travel size powders can last you eons

Team Mini here! When I first started shopping at Sephora, I would have never tried some products if it didn’t come in a mini. I love the hydro grip primer, but the Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Mist is the best setting spray I’ve come across, ever. The way it melds all they makeup together makes it the MVP of setting sprays that I’ve ever used. But, I don’t have oily skin, for years I was oily, but when I got into makeup, the skincare addiction soon followed, specifically Korean Beauty skincare which includes a lot of hydration. So when I stopped avoiding hydration, my oily skin went away.

I'm cool with minis if the price for the amount you're getting is adjusted fairly. Like when minis are half the price for half the product? Hype. When you're paying 60% of the price for 15% of the product though? That's rude.
I like minis, I don't wear makeup regularly enough so that I'm worried about going through products too quickly and I'd eventually like to try different products, so mini sizes of things like setting spray and powder are perfect for me

That’s a good price/amount for the mini setting spray. I love minis especially for mascara/eyeliner so I can get closer to the eyes without messing up. It didn’t help with the oils at all but your makeup does look refreshed. If anything, when you “blotted”, that helped the oil. Thanks for the vid. 😍💕
I love minis because of travel and because I’m sensitive to certain things with no warning and I like to try them out first so minis are perfect for me. I love this spray especially in combination with the primer

I like minis for complexion products, like I have the Milk primer mini, because I don't wear foundation very often full size powders and primers don't really make sense for me

I was just saying how much I appreciate brands that make minis of their products because it allows people who don't want to splurge on the full size product to have higher end products in their price range. Also if you want to try a product you can try the mini and then if you really like it you can go back and buy the full size. Especially for someone like me who is constantly rotating the products I use in my routine its nice to have minis so I don't feel like Im wasting a lot of product.

I bought a trial size in the milk primer and Its amazing. Im going to buy a full size. The setting spray look aesthetically cool but the only one im interested in is the all nighter.
You should buy the jelly pop instead it’s 10xs better

I like minis if they come in a package and I’m trying things out. At the same time, it depends on how mini the mini is bc some brands be doing 0.01 ounces for $100
I only buy minis for my travel bag. They tend to be more expensive per ounce than the full size. I only buy a full size product after I’m 1000% sure I want it (and I don’t buy dupes of things I already own) so I rarely ever end up with products that don’t get used.
I usually like minis. I mean it kinda sucks bc ur often not getting 1/2 of what you would get in the original. But I think it helps me realize how long it’s takes me to get through things. I can use a mini for the longest time. It’s also kinda nice for storage bc it takes up less space in my beauty space.

Storytime: my best friend told me about a pre-workout that she takes. So she said if you want to give it a try I will let you get a sample. So I went over house got a sample with the intentions of working out but I didn't that night. So she says that she takes it also for energy before she goes to work. So I decided to do the same the next day. Now I'm a traveling phlebotomist. So I took it about 30 45 minutes into it I was like okay I got a boost of energy this is good. An hour to an hour and 15 minutes I begin to itch like crazy! I was driving around town looking like a crackhead because I just scratched everywhere, LOL. I could not keep still! It was the most uncomfortable thing I had ever felt, LOL. I called her and I said why didn't you tell me that this could make me itch?! She was like well I don't really feel it because I move around a lot at work. I said well maybe that's the issue it's that I wasn't moving around like I should have been if I was to actually exercise. I think I will give it another try because it really did give me a good boost of energy that pretty much lasted all day. I will just actually exercise. I just could not stand the side effects! I really wish she would have told me beforehand I'm still mad at her, lol. This literally happened two weeks ago LOL.

Mini anything is my go to especially mascara. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve bought a full size high end mascara just to end up not using it all. I also like them to try out without feeling like I wasted money if I didn’t like a product.
I have one gripe though; the mini concealers...why can’t they have more shades other than fair or medium? Hmm? I wanna try it too but not at the sacrifice of looking like a pair of headlights! Tch.

I like Mini mascara since they last as long as i need - if i get a full size i use it passed the expiration date.

I like minis for when I want to try makeup products but don't want to commit to the full price yet. I also like mini mascaras because I don't usually use up a full mascara before I have to toss it.
I'm not surprised that the setting spray didn't do much. when your makeup breaks down throughout the day, it's due to the oils from your skin, not the outside air. that is why the primer works so well- it works as a barrier between your makeup and your skin to help prevent your makeup from separating. but when you're using the spray, the product is going over your existing makeup, which isn't preventing any oils from breaking through.
the product can also apparently be used to set your base. I'm curious what the difference would be between using the hydro grip primer to set your face vs using the hydro grip setting spray.
I can see the difference after the touch up. I’m going to give it a try. It looks like you where pretty far from your face when spraying (it may be me). Plus I use a bit more. I don’t drench it but like you, I do my makeup one time (I only touch up lipstick/gloss). So with the primer and this, I should be set. Thanks.
I like mini products! They're good for testing products and they can give me a faster gauge of whether I can justify buying a full-sized product next time.
As far as taking makeup to go I'm the opposite of you. My purse is always stuffed with cosmetics, I carry courtesy tampons (never know when someone will need one!), Tylenol and ibuprofen, and I have a mini maglight. Minis are the only reason I don't have to carry a whole tote bag.
My beef is when shampoos and conditioners come in hand cream sized bottles, but that's another rant.
I felt like your foundation was reacting with the spray but I couldn't put my finger on how. I definitely think the touch up looked good and it may be my eyes playing tricks on me or the camera but I feel like it looked better than the initial application. Maybe pressing it in for the touch-up made the difference?
That mister could be better tbh. Would want a finer, more prolonged spray personally. Would probably decant it into a continuous mister if I bought it. Hmmm🤔

I like minis because if I travel it’s practical and not to heavy in my bags and second I wouldn’t want to be stuck with a full size product that at the end that I don’t like. I can see a slight difference but not too much.

I'm also more apt to buy from Companies that produce Minis of their Products to try.
I especially like the Mascara Minis because I don't wear mascara every Day and so don't have to worry so much about using all of it before it Expires.

I love minis because certain products take so long to pan and using minis allows me to enjoy more variety while also being less wasteful.
hol' up a minute, is it just how your lights are set up or is there literally a line of demarcation between the slightly subdued sheen on our left (your right) and the natural glow on our right (your left) sides? personally i like being as oily and wet looking as possible so i forego foundation/concealer and just wear hydrogrip primer and tatcha dewy cream as a base .. imma pass for now and try a mini when i get more primer next year.
if anyone is looking for a super glowy setting spray, CoverFX's illuminating one has microshimmer in it & the sprayer is amaaazing.
I was interested in getting the primer whennit came out but it smelled so bad in my opinion. Like straight chemicals.
But it looks like it did a great job on your skin so maybe ill try again.

Girl I love me some minis lol. I'm really cheap and don't wear makeup everyday or even every week so minis can last me a whole 6 months to a year. 😂 It's the only way I can justify trying some of these expensive products.

I like the full size because once I like what I like, I stick to it, (plus I have sensitive skin) and I hate constantly buying makeup.
