For me the traditional bone-in wings are "mid" at best. But those fingers/tenders hit! The Zalads are good as well. They need more sauce variety especially on the heat scale.
They have one of the best ranch dressings. Their fries are good too. I only like crinkle fries so I'm prejudiced. They dropped a lot of things from their menu. Used to have a wonderful blackened chicken club sandwich meal. I only like lemon pepper or garlic parmesan wings which they don't have.
We eat at Zaxby's a couple times a month and I like there sweet and spicy sauce along with ranch on there salads. I'm not a big fan of the Zak sauce but most of the sauces are pretty tasty. Not to bad for a fast food restaurant..👍🏼👍🏼
I'm not sure what Culver's you went to, but the one in my area is trash. I do enjoy that buffalo garlic blaze and spicy zax sauce with the strips though at Zaxby's. It's my second go-to after Chick-Fil-A.

There was a Guthrie's in Athens, Georgia when I was in college in the late 1980's. It was awesome. The Zaxby's guys flat out copied everything from them. Now there's a Zaxby's on every corner, and Guthrie's has just about been run out of the state altogether. I guess they found a way to beat them in the marketing game. Almost seems unfair.

If you're still in town, check out Manny's Steakhouse which is right up the road from this location. Being from New Jersey, both of these locations I experienced as a resident of Florida. My Son loves Zaxby's! 🔥 They sometimes get a big order wrong with the wings and things. I personally prefer bone in . They gave us free chicken tenders one time cause they got it wrong. Zax sauce is so good! Ps. Hopefully y'all will make it to Atlanta soon . We have a diverse amount of cultural foods here.
Came here after watching your Philly videos with Mark Wiens. I grew up outside of Philly but now I'm in Atlanta, so I was curious to see what you thought of Zaxby's. TBH, I don't know anyone who orders wings there. There are countless local/fast/cheap wing places that are far better. If you ever go back to Zaxby's, I'd recommend trying the Insane sauce (their hottest- but still not crazy hot) paired with Ranch dressing, to dip your chicken fingers in. And make sure you get the coleslaw along with the bread and fries. If your wife likes salads, all of those are really good as well. Cheers!
Leave for my families annual trip to Orlando in 3 weeks. I’m in Buffalo so idk about the wings like mine crispier but Zaxbys chicken fingers and fries with the seasoning slammin. We need Culver’s and Zaxbys up here asap

Never go to zaxbys for the traditional wings unless u get um extra crispy but u go to zaxbys for the chicken fingers with the nuclear sauce dip it in the zax sauce afterwards

They used to be priced very reasonably. Sandwich deals with fries and drink used to be $5.99, $6.99. Now I think it's double that.
