From personal experience - Mitsubishi sells the most reliable fans, followed by KDK/Panasonic. My grandparents’ Mitsubishi fans have performed well for over 20 years, with one or two exceptions. Not much to worry about if you ask me.
Problem is, it hasn’t been proven yet that Mitsubishi Electric’s build quality remains the same now after all the years that have gone past. I’m very confident that this fan can outlast most other fans offered in our market though.
Great choice! Mitsubishi makes top quality fans, however their exhaust fan bearings seem to have inconsistent lubrication. Most are well-lubed, but some can go dry in a short while
Thanks! The bearings on my granparents’ & my uncle’s Panasonic exhaust fan have gone noisy after less than 3 years, plus the quality of modern stuff isn’t really good compared to stuff made 10 years ago, so to be honest, I’m not expecting much from this fan at all. I’d be happy if it does 10 years without fussing
i'm glad this part of super-niche videos still exist on youtube. i'm in malaysia and their brand presence is basically nonexistent here, but the silent electric fan they have looks very interesting.
Thanks! I try my best to stick to old school RUclips in terms of channel promotion, thumbnails & filming techniques to keep old timers like you happy haha. I thought Mitsubishi had a stronger hold in Malaysia’s electronic world as I’ve seen several Mitsubishi Electric fans for sale in some Malaysian online shops, M.E does make some really awesome fans.
This style of bathroom exhaust fan is very popular in some parts of Southeast Asia. It's specifically tailored for people who don't want to spend the money to install ductwork for their bathroom exhaust fan, but instead prefer to just let the air go straight to the roof. As a result this style of fan is pretty cheap, you really should get one of these, it's pretty cool!
How has the Mitsubishi fan held up? I was thinking of putting one above my stair well to pull out the hot and and blow into the attic, do you think this fan is strong enough for that?
@@TheFanUniverse mantab makin yakin ambil mitsubishi . Sy kan perlu dua buat kmr mandi atas sama bawah, Mending ambil dua dua nya mitsubishi atau satu ambil yg panasonic biar tau beda nya
Keputusan di tangan jenengan sih, kalau penasaran ya ambil keduanya bisa aja, tapi yg pasti kebutuhan ukuran lubangnya exhaust Mitsubishi & Panasonic itu beda, meskipun diameter kipasnya sama
Sya jg pasang ini di kamar mandi.. Tp kok agak aneh ya menurut saya.. pas saya semburin asep rokok, asepnya malah ketiup.. bukan disedot..

I didn't know Mitsubishi made this kind of exhaust fan! It's very different from the exhaust fan I saw in Korea.I want to have it someday

It’s still strong as ever! It would do the job no problem I’d say, and it’s fairly quiet too so it most likely won’t drown out conversations, etc
Could you tell us how about size of hole should be made to install this type, thanks
You'll need a 34 X 34 Centimeter hole for mounting this fan
Lagi bimbang antra mitsubishi ini atau panasonic . Worth it mana gan please bantu sy 😊 untuk dipasang kamar mandi bawah sama atas
Sy lebih pilih Mitsubishi. Suaranya lebih senyap & secara kualitas lebih bagus

Still, it's worth taking the risk and using it just because it's a national.
I’m sure the National can last more than 20 years from now, but I don’t like the slow air movement
Really nice looking fan
It is indeed!
3:55 itu bearing depan-belakang apa hanya depan doang ?
Kurang tahu
@@TheFanUniverse walau panasonic yg seukuran nya sekalipun?
Betul

Keep making great videos!! Do not waste your time - Promo-SM !!
WTF???? MITSUBISHI MADE A EXHAUST FAN???? REALLY????
Yes they do!
Wow...
It’s definitely different from bathroom ventilation fans you’re used to seeing in Japan isn’t it?
Yep, so I was very surprised.
