Who cares about added weight , age , we all lose all these illlusions sooner or later , he is a spirit who like all of us will never die . Keep on doing what you love .
God I miss him so much. .. recall meeting him in Coventry.. gave me his signature.. I treasured his beliefs that nobody should profit from his signature I literally threw it into the river Blyth when I was on the verge of suicide!
Same age as you, remember buying "Never Mind the Bullocks" when it was released and listening in my bedroom on the turntable volume down, so my parents couldn't hear the lyrics!
This mans a legend he can do whatever he wants at this point this version makes sense as he never gave a f*ck about what people thought more so now im sure in regards to comment boards and social media. More importantly hes a LIVING legend we should all be grateful
@@_fabio1978 Come on, Lydon spent half his life paying out on other people, including people he has performed with. Too bad if he cops some stick. He used to call Steve Jones, Fatty Jones. Tongue in cheek for sure but it goes both ways.
I did a gig with this bloke in 1975. The Pistols were crap technically but nevertheless relevant as we were in the first post war recession. His performance hasn't improved. He is younger than me but looks older and crossly overweight. Dada theatre more than punk. Why has he got the lyrics in front of him? It's more like a magical incantation with Lyndon as the pagan priest.
Aside from the first (only) Pistols album and parts of "Album" by PiL, I could never get into Lydon's work. Besdes music, from the little I can tell on TV etc, he seems like an alright guy beyond all the showmanship. What was he like back then?
Love your brilliant work and love you 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Excellent performance by John Lydon, smashing actually, Thx for publishing
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS

I love this version. I've barely heard this song since it was released. It's good to see that John, and this song, are ageing disgracefully
Where and when are they playing? Id love to see a P.I.L. show.
John looking like John Goodman
he is big now no?
Time to call it a day, John. I, and millions of others, will always love you. I hate to see you like this.❤
mmm, same. stop looking awful.
to be fair most singers today would not sound so good without autotune
Duet the back catalogue Jonny with Kate, Lene, a Blondie here and there and a few corgis floating about on stage.
What a pratt
John is too good for Eurosong.
If he puts on a dress they will love him.
If John dyed his hair dark ,he would look like Mr Creosote.
This
😮is not a diet song he obviously eats to much
😢 4:19
Too much Country Life! 😉

A difficult watch.
Sadness! 🤷♂️
Its Over John ! Sorry but its Ove Mate !
rocknroll1964, with that kind of mindset, it cant be anything but “over”. John on the other hand is doing great! Perhaps you ought to follow his lead.
What a joke
He should never have tried to sing.
shit

And who exactly the fuck are you, or what have you done that's notable? Let's see your CV.
I am glad that I never did a gig with him. Happy to have never met the bloke.
