First time watching this and I must say, I never thought there would be a heavy metal version of Phantom of the Opera. This was actually really good!! A fusion that is certainly worth noting I love how all the girls in the audience began reacting as soon as Tarja begins singing the first notes and they are singing along with it. You can tell who are the Phantom fans!

I've already attended the play in Her Majesty's Theatre, watched the 2004 version of the movie, watched many videos of musical interpretation of the Phantom and Christine (of course, all of them very good performances)... but I can say I haven't seen any better "Christine" than that interpreted by Tarja! Her voice is angelical, but also strong... It does touch the soul of the listener, I think. *-*

There's 3 clear aeras of this band. Tarja was perfect in the eraly days when they did a lot of operatic music. Annette Olzon was 100% perfect during the mid era, such as Imaginarium. And Floor Jansen is 100% perfect for the modern metal music. Thats why this is the most under rated band on the planet. They SHOULD be up there with the greats like Kiss, Motorhead, ACDC, Led Zep, etc. But their time will come.
That vocal beauty overshadows her former classmates that envy led them to talk, her voice is unmatched and in that time she knows. They made the best songs at least the ones I admire imagine an "EVER DREAM" nothing can match it and I do not say it for her but because together they were
I have been fan the band since 1999.... this was great time..... And nowdays I still like THE band and also Tarja's solo's. Yes I miss that feeling eary 2000, but sometimes life is not fairy tale. Both THE band and Tarja seems to going on quite well so, if we others just try to enjoy both of "team's" :)
