I don't think I've used the same setup twice since first riding with gear in 1974 (long before it was known as bikepacking). Thankfully, gear is much better now and specifically made for biking. I had to really improvise in the early years.
Love the video. Correct me if I am wrong but should not the runners/walkers be on the other side of the "bike" trail facing bike traffic? I have the the same issue here at home.
Thank you. I believe on trails it's just everyone to the right. Certainly peds/runners on roads should oppose traffic, it's safer. That said, you see everything on trails, especially busy ones, some people are all over the place! Despite that, I hope you're having some great rides.

Cool shake down rides are the best .. you should look into bikepacking setup rather than tradation touring setup perfect for trails
