    I had an mri scan just over 2 yrs ago thst did not pick up kyphosis however I have had osteoporosis since approximately 2016
    I am taking vitamin D and now Aldronicacid
    I have dengerative disk disease and apparently cyst on my spine
    March this yr 2023 I had a chest X-ray that showed fracture at T6 T7
    My Ct scan showed I now have kyphosis
    Are there treatments for me or will excersize alone correct my curve
    I also have severe emphysema so can only do gentle exercise as I get very breathless

      First of all it depend if you have Scheuermann s kyphosis or due t bad posture. I have SK. I understood from my doctor that when you reach the adult age (about 20) your spine is set completely. Surgical intervention -here in The Netherlands - depends on the severity of the complaints and age. Here they advise surgery only at a young age. Surgery can be risky because of the complexity and damge to nerves.

    My upper back has always had a really significant curve to it. I’m a body builder and I get plenty of full body exercises, if I bend down I can bend it to almost a complete U. I’m also a fire fighter and it effects my carrying capacity cuz we have about 15 pounds of gear on our head. I have no pain just existing and walking around but I really wanna fix it. Don’t have the money to go to chiropractor either. I’ve been trying to watch my posture and I’ve also been laying flat on my back 30 minutes a day do you think that could help?

    How do i know that my kyphosis is turning into structural?

  • @globalfamily8172

    I've had kyphosis since kindergarten and lordosis to compensate. Now I literally cannot get rid of the forward head placement. It's "fossilized"! I truly believe I was born with very weak shoulders or lack of muscle.

    I think with all the stuff you’re saying you need to show us more of what you’re talking about. I’m just overwhelmed and I’m not quite sure what you’re referring to unless I can see it so you should demonstrate what you’re talking about as we speak so we can be clear on what it is you’re speaking up because not everybody knows the different parts of the spine!
    You’re speaking as if you are talking to an audience that knows what you’re talking about. I’m not very clear about all the curves here and there and what you’re referring to you need to show us. Then I’ll get it better.

  • @bondjane007
    @bondjane007 4 месяца назад

    Also as I listen to you you’re talking way too fast and cramming way too much information in so quickly I heard you have time to register and the last thing you said before you’re onto something next. Do you want to cram that much information so fast you need to at least show us along the way and then we can get it

    So what kind of bracing or treatment should someone like me do since I broke my L4 several years ago and everything shifted and now I lost like 20% of my height and my ribs are almost touching my hips so I don’t have a waist anymore. And I have a military neck now and forward head slightly. So I’d like to know what kind of brace I could wear that would help put the lordosis back in my neck and unfortunately something to get me to be taller bring back the lost height!
    I live in Santa Monica California do you have any ideas of people I could go see I’m on Medicare and LA care insurance. I am an older woman I’m well over 60. I’m thinking about doing some bio denticle hormones that might help me with the pain I have. I have low back pain neck pain and hip pain. I do have osteoarthritis sorry had to go to the right as I believe and possibly ankylosing spondylitis but not for sure about the last one.
    I’m also concerned because the loss of the height has crammed my organs together in the small space my lungs my heart etc. and I have terrible neck pain probably because I had a nerve ablation that went South because I didn’t have it before I had the nerve ablation. And I can no longer tilt my head back to gargle and I could before the nerve ablation. So I’m wondering what happened in the nerve ablation that made it so I can’t tilt my head back and I have constant pain in my neck and now I’ve been put on OxyContin and oxycodone. I’m gonna be switching off of them after quite a few years being on them something better Or different with less possible side effects for my lungs. I have breathing problems ! Low oxygen when I sleep.
