Wow, this is a rough one to start with if you’ve never heard Dream Theater before. Congrats for sticking with it. If you want something a lot easier to listen to from them, try one of their earlier songs. Either “Another Day” or “Surrounded” would be good.
Yeah this is diving into the deep end. I also think those two recommended songs are much more traditional, easy to digest pieces of music from them. Maybe also "Hollow Years" If you want to hear a little bit of their mellow side.
