On behalf of Live in Italy Magazine, we visited this village in Messina, where we met Consuelo Damico and the town's Mayor, Cinzia Marchello, to view three 1-euro houses.
The project allows you to purchase a 1 Euro home with a $5,000 Euro refundable deposit and 5 years to renovate it. In this video, you will see the average prices of what it would take to renovate and the conditions of the home.
I loved the village's location and the town's friendliness. I see that the market here will increase in value and price due to the influx of immigrants and tourism growth.

This is all rubbish, you need 10,000 euros and more to get one.
You do need to invest in renovation and as I showed in video cheapest one here is around 10-12k so maybe you didn’t watch the whole video or read the full article that goes into the details but okay Carlos Alberto
