I wanted to like Bunsen is a Beast. I really did. But I just couldn’t get into it. At first, I thought the episodes were ok. But after a while, I got tired of all the screaming, especially from Mikey. Mikey should have been more of a straight man than just getting excited over every little thing that happens around him. That way he could contrast his silly world. I might give it another chance later, but for now, I don’t have the time, energy, or interest to watch that show.
Why do the new episodes have Timmy's dad see the fairies so much?! It's not even like they made an animation error! They just have him there. It gets distracting fast! The writers forgot that they had a mom character for a reason. He's just a dumb dad character who they think are funny on their own.

I actually like Bunsen is a Beast in terms of its concept... I heard Butch was originally going to make it a childrens book, might have been better with that. Like I told you earlier with the Tuff Puppy thing, Butch doesn't do subtly well.

If Fairy Share Scare was the ball drop and Girly Squirrely was the straw that broke the camel's back, then this was the murder-suicide of both of Hartman's shows. Fairly Oddparents was dying and Bunsen was blander than aspic at best. Glad Butch stopped. It was time to tap out and move to greener pastures. Well, less brown pastures.

Especially since the design of the characters looks even weirder. Their heads are smaller, and their eyes and mouths take up like 95% of the face. This is mainly the case for Timmy, Cosmo, and Wanda. For Crocker, his head looks much thinner. For Timmy's parents, it feels like their faces never change. Like, at all.
It seems like Nick has the opposite issue as CN. One can't produce enough of one show and the other can't stop beating a dead horse despite it being sent to the glue factory years ago. Nick is basically punching horseshoes and a bottle of Elmer's glue
The animation makes the fairly odd parents characters look like they have Rigor Mortis. Could be that the series death is finally setting in. Joking aside, I am glad Butch Hartman left Nickelodeon and hopefully the elf detective will be good. You could definitely see that he was getting rusty, I think it had to do with working on the same style of show too long, and also swapping to flash.

It was harder to see it when just watching Bunsen because I haven’t seen it any other way, but I have seen FOP animated in the traditional way, so I could tell something was different. It helps me see how much worse it is.
I never even heard of this show until people on RUclips started listing it on their "Top X Worst" lists. I looked up the wikipedia page and all of the plot summaries for the episodes sound awful. Special note goes to "Bunsen and Mikey save Amanda from sneeze beasts that come from Bunsen's nose, but they end up going to a taco truck, a lemonade stand and the beach." Like...what? That sounds like an eight year old's creative writing assignment for school.
At this point i think anything related to butch hartman that is later FOP seasons and bunsen is a beast is grasping at thin straws to stay relevant and flashy for the sake of kids attention. Danny Phantom, early FOP, etc is alot better cause it had this thing called thought put into it. people arent thinking about story anymore theyre trying to write in as many jokes just to get a kids eyes on the television or tablet or whatever.
This animation makes me legitimately uncomfortable, Bunsen's voice is bad, Mikey is obnoxious, and the deformed light bulb with braces insults my eyes and ears.
I hate the floaty-ass flash animation! It's *TOO* fluid! What makes it more jarring is seeing these old characters that were portrayed with snappier movements moving with more subtle, frame-by-frame movements. It's kinda like the older seasons of _Fairly Oddparents_ had their skeletons removed, then those bones were replaced with a *_different_* skeleton, thus we're basically watching another skeleton dance around in the skin-suits of old/familiar faces... *_and it's really creepy_*

Oh my lord. Seeing classic FOP characters done in god awful Johnny Test style Flash puppet animation is just heart breaking. Fairly Odd Parents was a huge part of my childhood and a major driving force in learning how to draw as a kid. I remember seeing those old pilot episodes on Oh Yeah cartoons way back in the day and loving them. Those shorts were hand painted on cels the old fashioned way and still look 100 times better than this crap. And before anyone says "Flash is just a tool you can use it to do amazing things blahblahblah" Yes I realize this and it is very true. But the thing is Flash is SO OFTEN used to cut corners and produce cheap, terrible looking, lazy animation that it has understandably earned a bad reputation.
This episode is up there with Chloe’s introduction. Why? Just why was this even necessary? I get that FOP isn’t in its prime anymore, but to me, this is just another taint on the franchise. Other than their archetypes being similar, how are these characters supposed to play off each other? I was never into BIAB and I don’t think I’ll even watch it after this. Not all crossovers work!
The animation in this episode is honestly terrible. Compared to old fairly odd parents episodes, everything looks so odd and slow, which contradicts the bubbly animation style ( that the old animation didn’t have ) It looks like they didn’t know how to upload it to whatever platform from the original site, so they decided to use a crappy and laggy screen recorder to upload it instead
Danny Phantom, Fairy Odd Parents, and Tuff Puppy all have a very constant style that lets you know its a Butch Hartman cartoon, but this show, it really looks like the people at Nick were like, "Hey, Hartman can you make a show with that Adventure Time style of character design? It seems like those shows are what's in now and milking money." I know a person's style can change, and people should be allowed to experiment with styles, but somehow, IDK, this just doesn't feel like his style at all. In fact if I didn't already know it was Hartman's creation, which I only know because that's how Nicktoons promoted it, I would have never guessed he made it. Aside from that, I never seen a full episode to judge if its good or bad.
We’ve already been given a wonderful crossover between Jimmy and Timmy, an awesome hour episode called channel chasers episode, and a crossover both shows did with Danny Phantom and T.U.F.F Puppy. Why were we given another crossover with fairly oddparents and Bunsen? It wasn’t necessary.
This is somewhat off topic, but our local bar and grill has a chicken dished called "Boom Boom Chicken". Anyway, my friend orders it a lot and whenever they forget the sauce (which is known as the "Boom Boom"), she says, "where's the Boom Boom?" Thanks to this crossover, I'll never be able to hear her say that without superimposing Amanda's face over hers in my mind. This episode actually ruined me in a sense. I'll never be able to order that dish with a clear mind again.

70% of Hartman’s creations are pretty terrible, and you have to really dig for the good stuff. Only a small percentage of FOP and TP, most of DP, and none of Bunsen is actually good

We really did have it better in the early mid-2000s. DP (before season 3, anyway. I heard they had to scrap what they were originally gonna do with it after Marmel left, and that it would have gotten somewhat more dark in tone culminating in a final battle between Danny and Dark Danny. I think that would have been more interesting than what we got.) and FoP (before seasonal rot anyway) were really good shows that I still love to this day. I was never really into Tuff Puppy (it was fine, but never really watched i regularly), but it seems well beyond Bunsen is a Beast.

You know, Bunsen was supposed to be a picture book. Now I know that wouldn’t have made it the best thing ever, but I think that would’ve been a better option for it if it had to be made, instead of it being a lazily made show with crappy animation and terrible voice acting, I don’t think it’s the voice actors fault, I just think it was really bad direction.
This is the one thing that has actually bothered me about Bunsen Is A Beast: WHY DOES AMANDAS BASE DESIGN MAKE IT LOOK LIKE SHE IS SICK! Also it doesn't help that she spits when she talks and she sound like her nose is stuffed up; I aways think someone is gonna get sick when her spit lands on them.
Fairy Oddparents, Danny Phantom, and Tuff Puppy, all kicked ass. Bunsen is a beast, was kinda just stuck together at the last minute. It didn't have the fun, and entertainment, and style, and storylines the other 3 Butch Hartman shows had. They should have did the 4th crossover, I read about online some years ago called "where's Poof"? it was another crossover with Jimmy Newtron and the 4th one in all. But they ended up not doing that, and ended up doing one with Bunsen.

as much as I'd LOVED Butch Hartman for shows like Danny Phantom The Fairly Odd Parents and T.U.F.F. Puppy I HATED Bunsen is a Beast it's way too silly and over the top the random humor doesn't work with me so yeah WORSE Crossover Ever!

In my opinion, as much as I hate that the show ended, I'm glad T.U.F.F. Puppy was spared from being ruined like the fairly oddparents and bunsen is a beast.
You hit the nail right on the head when you said that Bunsen is a Beast as a whole feels like stock. People even say that the show isn't objectively bad just because of how bland and unoffensive it is.

If I hadn't been told or seen it online, I wouldn't have ever guessed Bunsen is a Hartman cartoon. It doesn't look like FOP, TUFF, or DP at all.
They had The Loud House shill this show hard only for it to be the same old Butch Hartman slapstick comedy he's been running with for years now. If you've seen one Butch Hartman-created episode, you've seen them all.

It was harder to see it when just watching Bunsen because I haven’t seen it any other way, but I have seen FOP animated in the traditional way, so I could tell something was different. It helps me see how much worse it is.

I never even heard of this show until people on RUclips started listing it on their "Top X Worst" lists. I looked up the wikipedia page and all of the plot summaries for the episodes sound awful. Special note goes to "Bunsen and Mikey save Amanda from sneeze beasts that come from Bunsen's nose, but they end up going to a taco truck, a lemonade stand and the beach." Like...what? That sounds like an eight year old's creative writing assignment for school.
Yeah I wrote stuff similar to that when I was that age.

At this point i think anything related to butch hartman that is later FOP seasons and bunsen is a beast is grasping at thin straws to stay relevant and flashy for the sake of kids attention. Danny Phantom, early FOP, etc is alot better cause it had this thing called thought put into it. people arent thinking about story anymore theyre trying to write in as many jokes just to get a kids eyes on the television or tablet or whatever.

This animation makes me legitimately uncomfortable, Bunsen's voice is bad, Mikey is obnoxious, and the deformed light bulb with braces insults my eyes and ears.
Honestly I've seen Fan Animation look better than these shows.

I hate the floaty-ass flash animation! It's *TOO* fluid! What makes it more jarring is seeing these old characters that were portrayed with snappier movements moving with more subtle, frame-by-frame movements. It's kinda like the older seasons of _Fairly Oddparents_ had their skeletons removed, then those bones were replaced with a *_different_* skeleton, thus we're basically watching another skeleton dance around in the skin-suits of old/familiar faces... *_and it's really creepy_*

Oh my lord. Seeing classic FOP characters done in god awful Johnny Test style Flash puppet animation is just heart breaking. Fairly Odd Parents was a huge part of my childhood and a major driving force in learning how to draw as a kid. I remember seeing those old pilot episodes on Oh Yeah cartoons way back in the day and loving them. Those shorts were hand painted on cels the old fashioned way and still look 100 times better than this crap.
And before anyone says "Flash is just a tool you can use it to do amazing things blahblahblah" Yes I realize this and it is very true. But the thing is Flash is SO OFTEN used to cut corners and produce cheap, terrible looking, lazy animation that it has understandably earned a bad reputation.
This episode is up there with Chloe’s introduction. Why? Just why was this even necessary? I get that FOP isn’t in its prime anymore, but to me, this is just another taint on the franchise. Other than their archetypes being similar, how are these characters supposed to play off each other? I was never into BIAB and I don’t think I’ll even watch it after this. Not all crossovers work!

The animation in this episode is honestly terrible. Compared to old fairly odd parents episodes, everything looks so odd and slow, which contradicts the bubbly animation style ( that the old animation didn’t have ) It looks like they didn’t know how to upload it to whatever platform from the original site, so they decided to use a crappy and laggy screen recorder to upload it instead
Danny Phantom, Fairy Odd Parents, and Tuff Puppy all have a very constant style that lets you know its a Butch Hartman cartoon, but this show, it really looks like the people at Nick were like, "Hey, Hartman can you make a show with that Adventure Time style of character design? It seems like those shows are what's in now and milking money."
I know a person's style can change, and people should be allowed to experiment with styles, but somehow, IDK, this just doesn't feel like his style at all. In fact if I didn't already know it was Hartman's creation, which I only know because that's how Nicktoons promoted it, I would have never guessed he made it.
Aside from that, I never seen a full episode to judge if its good or bad.

We’ve already been given a wonderful crossover between Jimmy and Timmy, an awesome hour episode called channel chasers episode, and a crossover both shows did with Danny Phantom and T.U.F.F Puppy. Why were we given another crossover with fairly oddparents and Bunsen? It wasn’t necessary.
This is somewhat off topic, but our local bar and grill has a chicken dished called "Boom Boom Chicken". Anyway, my friend orders it a lot and whenever they forget the sauce (which is known as the "Boom Boom"), she says, "where's the Boom Boom?"
Thanks to this crossover, I'll never be able to hear her say that without superimposing Amanda's face over hers in my mind. This episode actually ruined me in a sense. I'll never be able to order that dish with a clear mind again.
I'm a child, 13 infact, that cannot STAND Bunsen is a beast. I dislike the animation, voice acting, ect. It's annoying and an eyesore to watch, honestly.
70% of Hartman’s creations are pretty terrible, and you have to really dig for the good stuff. Only a small percentage of FOP and TP, most of DP, and none of Bunsen is actually good

We really did have it better in the early mid-2000s. DP (before season 3, anyway. I heard they had to scrap what they were originally gonna do with it after Marmel left, and that it would have gotten somewhat more dark in tone culminating in a final battle between Danny and Dark Danny. I think that would have been more interesting than what we got.) and FoP (before seasonal rot anyway) were really good shows that I still love to this day.
I was never really into Tuff Puppy (it was fine, but never really watched i regularly), but it seems well beyond Bunsen is a Beast.
How could we have gone from something as legendary as "The Jimmy-Timmy Power Hour" to this steaming pile of horse feces?

You know, Bunsen was supposed to be a picture book. Now I know that wouldn’t have made it the best thing ever, but I think that would’ve been a better option for it if it had to be made, instead of it being a lazily made show with crappy animation and terrible voice acting, I don’t think it’s the voice actors fault, I just think it was really bad direction.
Ya know, I haven't shown up to see one of these videos in a while. I still love this stuff. Think I'm going to binge all the stuff I missed later.

Me personally I only like the first 5 seasons of The Fairly OddParents and Danny Phantom, while I dislike both T.U.F.F. Puppy and Bunsen Is a Beast.
This is the one thing that has actually bothered me about Bunsen Is A Beast: WHY DOES AMANDAS BASE DESIGN MAKE IT LOOK LIKE SHE IS SICK! Also it doesn't help that she spits when she talks and she sound like her nose is stuffed up; I aways think someone is gonna get sick when her spit lands on them.
Fairy Oddparents, Danny Phantom, and Tuff Puppy, all kicked ass. Bunsen is a beast, was kinda just stuck together at the last minute. It didn't have the fun, and entertainment, and style, and storylines the other 3 Butch Hartman shows had. They should have did the 4th crossover, I read about online some years ago called "where's Poof"? it was another crossover with Jimmy Newtron and the 4th one in all. But they ended up not doing that, and ended up doing one with Bunsen.
So... this is real...
