Back in the early 90's i saw them at the "Black Radio Won't Play This Record" tour twice. I was completely blown away how hard, heavy and precise that band rocked the house! Mothers Finest started in the 70's and they are still rocking today!
Saw Mother's Finest in 1980 and in Valdosta ga and holiday beach Douglas ga, met them in Valdosta also I play Bass and loved his style, always a huge Wyz fan !! ❤️👍☮️🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸
Hey Jerry! I was the bass player for a Ft. Lauderdale band - Axis - in the early '70s and we did a number of gigs with you guys at a club called the She - it had a big window -with an underwater view of the pool. Did you go by the name of Napoleon back then? You guys used to do a few covers of Sly & The Family Stone tunes then and put on a great show. Good to see you still out there kickin' it and doing well. All the best to you guys.
It was so nice to see him. I use to hang with Mothers Finist for a while back in the day, we use to hang in his Hotel room and play cards..he talked me out my shoes once or twice..lol..but only my shoes..dont get it Twisted he was a gentleman. Keep doing it like you do it ..Tavy..from Augusta Ga..Blind Pig..
I will not say they open for brick, they just came on before brick. And trust me Bick did not want to follow them. One of the most memorable concerts of my life..
