Oh yeah we knew about the cotton castle, our host in Pamukkale told us about it! But I didn't know you used to describe white things too. Thank you!! :) We learned a new Turkish word today 🙏🏼
Hi! We are very happy it was useful! This is why we make these videos and try to be as honest as possible. If you have any questions, please let us know. We are always happy to help! PS: we are very happy to hear you are going to Turkey!
great video - appreciate all your tips. Definitely food for thought about this destination and whether I truly want to make the time to see it properly! I love your truthful approach! Im subscribing now!
Hi Maggie, thanks so much!! It makes us very happy to hear that you found it useful. I mean this was a hard video... Pamukkale is beautiful, but honestly the vibe there was not ideal. But if you do choose to go, please stay at the Cotton Castle and chat with the owner & his wife who are the nicest humans! Also, don't miss the secret sunset spot and of course explore the ruins. These 3 things made our visit so much more enjoyable!! Safe travels and enjoy! Feel free to reach out if you have any other questions! :)
Thinking of visiting Pamukkale? We wrote 2 blog posts to help you plan your perfect adventure! - 37 things nobody tells you about visiting Pamukkale: www.waysoftheworldblog.com/pamukkale-turkey/ - 15 Incredible Things to do in Pamukkale: www.waysoftheworldblog.com/things-to-do-pamukkale/
It seemed really neat! I think my favorite part was the ruins at the end though, they were very impressive. I also really liked that dog you saw while walking around the pools, too cute!
The dogs in Turkey are everything!! 😍 Also, yes! The ancient city of Hierapolis is worth the visit even without going to the pools. They are STUNNING and you can have them all to yourself, which is priceless in our opinion!!
Ahhhh have so much fun!!!! It's going to be beautiful this time of the year!! Don't forget to find the spot to watch the sunset and explore the incredible ruins! ☺
yes, of course we realize. we are tourists with the luxury of time. and we wanted to show our experience at Pamukkale to help people with limited time make their own decision about whether to visit.
Really appreciate the honesty about this place! I haven't seen a video about Pamukkale sharing the truth until now!
Happy to hear you appreciate the honesty ;)
In Turkey people say like pamuk to white things. Pamuk means cotton. For example u now "snow white princess" turkish translation "pamuk prenses"
