Spent my day in bed poorly, watching 2013 Vlogmas and actually felt a little emotional from how much those videos got me through. Here I am almost 10 years later feeling the exact same way as 14 year old me did 🥹
I so hope we get some Christmas content- vlogmas has gotten me through some rough times. My sister passed December 10th in 2016 and Zoe’s vlogmas really helped me to make it through. Of course no pressure! We appreciate any content you make ❤🎄

Sat here after an awful couple of days at work, got caught in torrential rain cycling home (with no coat) my airpod slipped from my ear and I spent 5 minutes searching for it in the dark with my glasses so wet they became useless, splashed further by a huge lorry when I finally found it.. thank you for this 38 minutes of peace. You have been my comfort creator since I was 18 years old.. I’m now 30.

My little boy adores books too. He's three and knows a lot of books off by heart! He has no interest in the tablet.

4am waker here! I do crazy things like bake dog treats or decorate for Christmas or make pickled carrots etc lol! Sometimes i watercolor, too which is a nice adult hobby I discovered during Covid. Highly recommend, especially since finding a Harry Potter Flora and Fauna watercolor book 🧙♀️

It’s so sweet and funny when Ottilie comes over to the camera to say, “Hiya”! The Christmas books are a nice idea. My son’s first book was a Precious Moments Christmas songbook for kids. He loved it, and so did I, even if we were singing it in May.😄

My mum has the yellow tea pot as well, and I remember that when I was younger I would play with it or I would read Dear Zoo which I have got my youngest niece for Christmas this year. I loved reading Jaqualine Wilson books and even though I'm 27 I still have 6 books of hers to read 🙈.
my family did the same thing with the christmas books except my mom found a big santa bag and would put all the books in there, and then each day we would close our eyes and reach in and grab one :)

The part where you talked about your yes ring made me think back to the video you made about saying yes to more things.
I remember just having turned 18 and struggling heavily with anxiety and how much of an impact that video had on me back then.

When life gets a bit hectic and out of control, i also feel the beed to gain back that feeling control by organizing things! Though for me, having ADHD, it goes beyond physical space: i suddenly have to do all 5 of my gmails, make folders for everything in my gallery, clean out my cloud storage, organize Pinterest saves... It's intense haha
I don't like Christmas but love seeing people who love it celebrate it

I have this tidy house tidy mind thing too. I have to get up at 5.30 am to get ready for work but somehow I wake up at 4 or even 3 am and can't fall asleep but if I do, it's realy hard to wake up at 5.30
Being ill and a parent is TOUGH. I had a migraine once and had to call my husband to come home from work to look after the baby (he was about 8 months old at the time) as I couldn’t see 😂😂😂

Just wanted to say as you were doubting if Ottie will understand you when you read more complex books, but im training to be a primary teacher and I’ve recently found out that it is soooo important to read and talk to your babies even when they don’t understand you, it massively improves their vocab by millions of words by the time they reach reception age! Even when you think they arent listening its really making a difference to their cognition x

I absolutely feel the same way, Zoe! Most of my friends and I are like this. I consider it a great trait, however, it can definately get detrimental if your SO doesn't get the memo :'p
I have to be up early and have at least an hour to myself. I realised I functioned better with my family just having that time in the morning to just be. Also definitely a morning person too, laying in bed when I can be productive is just not something that sits well with me 😊
I am exactly the same, I need organisation, de clutter and I’m fine 😅 if my house is a mess ( rarely) then I know my minds a mess .. it’s all about controlling the situation.. not in a bad way but in a way where everything becomes a bit more Zen 😊
