No. Those were all covers of original folk tunes. This is the first time he has ever put out an original album.
I agree they should count they count to me, I mean you cant undo what youve recorded already thats almost like hes distancing himself from those two records but he might need some of the songs to do a full set if hes headlining shows. Granted that song is beautiful and im looking forward to the new record but its not his debut it shouldnt be accepted as his debut. I cant wait to hear his new record and his first record of original material but if he wasnt happy with making those folksinger records then maybe he should have thought about making them in the first place. Even Dylan doesnt distance himself from his cover albums.
