That last image of all the different gods of Westoros and Essos resembling a skull when put together, probably sums up George R.R. Martin's views on religion, but we won't hold that against him. At least he's subtle and tactful about organized religions throughout history, unlike Stephen King.
@@theblackdouglas7023 Stephen King tends to work religious characters into many of his works, but they are rarely portrayed positively, and never subtly. The bible-thumping crazy is a staple of his stories. Father Callahan and Mother Abigail being the only exceptions off the top of my head.
Your next free cities video should be Lys, Tyrosh, Myr, the Disputed Lands, and maybe the Stepstones. Also good video. I like the philosophical statement at the end
That was great! May I make a suggestion for a future video? I was thinking about the curse of Harrenhaal, but I don't know much about the houses who owned the castle after Harren. Could you do a video about the rise and fall of the houses which owned it, excluding Hoare and Baelish. Thanks
I personally think little valyrians are genuine Valyrians changed through blood magic which Qohor is rumored to practice. Also the another know place little valyrians are said to reside is the jungles of Sothoryos a place where slaves were forced to disturbingly mate with animals combined with blood magic to create half human creatures and the only known creature not to be hostile are the little valyrians making them out of place. Little theory I had bouncing around
Won't lie, I think there's a good chance Valyrian Steel probably requires a bit of magic to make and work. And in Planetos, magic = life = blood. It wouldn't be the first time human sacrifice was in the story, let alone demanded for something to happen. It would also explain why they can't rework it in Westeros -- they have prohibitions on slavery and murder. If you interpret Lightbringer's creation as anything to go by, we have already one magical kill anything including White Walker sword that was made with human sacrifice. Perhaps lesser sacrifice is needed to rework it. Either way, there's some sort of special rite. If it were just a special forge or bellows construction, there would be info to indicate as such.
"The Black Goat of Qohor" is a great name for a metal band.

If it was frowned upon to speak About oneself in Lorath, does that mean that Jaqen H’gar is from There?
Yes it is confirmed that he is Lorathi.
The first book he appears in indeed says a few times that he is Lorathi.
Great video! Really interesting stuff and brilliantly told and explained. Is their a video about Lys planned for the future?
Lys is planned for the next week.
