He just did the world building for Eldenring which he's already done for Westeros. If he wants to make a deal with a game studio to make a game set in Westeros George doesn't really need to do anything. The big problem is finding a studio that would want to make it.
There has always been something about Tolkiens middle earth, the elder scrolls and a song of ice and fire that has always captivated me, how an author or game designer could create an entire world with hidden lore and geography is just awesome, each of these three worlds could make really cool single player open world action RPGs similar to the mainline elder scrolls games but based on the whole world, kinda like the elder scrolls online but in a single player game
Why are other shows like The Witcher & The Last Kingdom not as good as GoT&HoTD? One big reason is because the world building is much more fleshed out in the Game of Thrones world.
I think it's unfair to compare The Last Kingdom to Game of Thrones, one is historical fiction & the other a complete fiction fantasy. Not to mention The Last Kingdom focuses primarily on the story of one man & Dark Ages England whereas Game of Thrones/House of The Dragon take us all over the place & tells multiple peoples story.
The key difference in my opinion why Game of Thrones stands out compared to other shows that tried to do what it did, is that Game of Thrones' source material was meticulously laid out over decades of writing, where as other shows often only have a few years of writing at most. Other shows often have amazing first seasons as those are the ones with the most time and effort put into their writing as the creators work to get the story picked up for production by studios, but their later seasons often only have one or two years of writing put into them, as they have to produce a new season every year or two, leading to padding and a noticeable decrease in quality.

This is kinda hilarious to watch knowing that Winds of Winter is accumulating dust in a corner somewhere while GRRM enthusiastically talks about the geopolitics of the Stepstones
I don't think anyone can be compared to Tolkien because of his very unique combination of talents, focuses, and experiences. He was a very specific and singular person, whereas his work spawned numerous writers similar to GRRM who attempt to imitate some facets of the original work. A Song of Ice and Fire is now the most known of these post-Tolkien fantasy stories, but the genre that came to be defined by these countless imitations is very different from Tolkien's work itself.

Lets expand on this epic epicness by finishing the books!
Couple of times I caught myself thinking "Wait is that actually how it happe..." and then I realized how foolish I am being, it's Martin, when it says that's how it happened, that's how it happened. 😂
Thanks... but stop procrastinating and get back to finishing Winds of Winter. And yes. After 12 years of waiting and being told the book is just around the corner, I DO FEEL ENTILTED to tell you what you should do.
This year it will have been *13* years since the last book came out. 17 if we consider Feast as some of those stories have had cliffhangers since 2007
Game of thrones the masterpiece
George doing all the possible side missions before completing the main one.
When is bro going to sit down and actually finish the books
I'm delighted with the immense possibilities and stories this map can bring and excited to discover new cities, locations, bastions and landscapes 🤩
I see he has time to make videos now ...
Nice world you've built there, George. You should write a book about it.
Put down the map and get to writing
😂😊
free israel 🇮🇱
How dare you lol
😂😂😂
This is kinda hilarious to watch knowing that Winds of Winter is accumulating dust in a corner somewhere while GRRM enthusiastically talks about the geopolitics of the Stepstones
he should break down why Winds of Winter is taking so lo-
Bruh this man is remarkably creative
This man is doing side quests and forgetting the main story mission.
We need a show on Valyria
Man....... He really is the Tolkien of our generation.
I'm watching hotd and dang Dragonstone and Kingslanding are literally just across the freaking sea
