I remember when my brother watched this show all the time I was like "I'm not 100% sure if this mall cop is a parody of Christopher Walken or not." Then this happened and I suppose that answered the question. XD
My theory is that Ron's parent were sick of his attitude so they sent him to boot camp which made him want to join the army, go through all those wars, then become a mall cop later on? Btw Ron's the best character on the show!
