Thanks for the feedback dudes, hope you enjoy the album!
Great job Phil can't wait for the new album
Legend ❤️
Well. So far. You guys are killing it!!! Every single has been a banger.
Philly done gave the boys a nod. Wow.
You did a great job with this album!
I'll fight anyone who says this song is bad.
Idk why I laughed so hard when I read this, amen lol
(B)eautiful (A)nd (D)ead
This song is badass
@Benedek Istvan I hear ya...
🤔 It may very well hold justification to do so 👊👊
Will see how these post covid flesh capsule's carry on with there malfunctioning selves,🙄
A massive amount of people lost their own minds sense 2020 🤨
They could put an album out of just song’s in this genre and I’d be all in.
What a f***ing beauty of a song. Phil is, hands down, the most versatile singer in heavy music. I love his vocal range. Its unreal. And that solo...OH MY F***ING GOD! ♥
Dude, In general, I love that more and more bands are doing 50/50 split clean and heavy vocals nowadays conpared to before where it was one or the other 👌
Agreed
Love this band, listened to them for years, love all their music, this may be my favourite song by them ever. Phil continues to blow me away with how goddamn talented he is, fave vocalist in the game right now.
I hated the song bring me home because of basically bias but after getting used to hearing Phil sing clean damn he’s held back he’s easily my favorite clean vocalist now I wish he’d have started a solo project before incorporating them to WC so it’d have been an easier transition for old fans
He was also a Monumental influence on my gutturals and lows when I first started vocals his high scream tone he used in a new era of corruption was also a fantastic high tone
I get that, and I would love a side project for his cleans, but the whole band seems to be well on board to change it up, so if the whole band agrees and they don’t completely forget where they came from and the deathcore die hard fans that got them there, I’m all for them doing whatever style they want.
@@Mighty_Bangus fuck deathcore diehards dude they’re literally one of the most metal elitist groups on the planet whitechapel are one of the titans of deathcore their new progression is an evolution of them getting older. The same thing happened with rise against. They still put out banger ass albums but the OG fans usually bitch that Tim doesn’t scream now even though he does it’s just not siren song or RPM levels.
@@Mighty_Bangus also that’s not fair to the band though dude because until orphan was out they were still pounding the deathcore vibe hard so I’m hoping for an even mix. Had you told me 10 years ago I’d have cleans in my whitechapel I’d have called you a moron but now after hearing it I wouldn’t want it any other way
Orphan has to be my favorite song of the three singles we got from Whitechapel. Phil’s clean vocals are really good and it’s cool to see him use his clean vocals more. But I can’t wait for the new record and I’m so excited to see what else Whitechapel has in store🤘
I hope there’s cleans sprinkled throughout but I hope the last song is reminiscent of older albums when he kills his evil side and moves on
Such a good vocalist! It's like singing is so easy for him that he only has to lean into the sound to get grit and gravity 🔥 loved this
WOW fucking WOW!!! 🔥🔥🔥
My favorite song of whatechapel
Absolutely loved this!! I'm a huge fan of their heavy stuff as well. I enjoy both styles of music and being able to get both from the same band just staples how great of a band they are and Phil is one of a kind.
You guys gotta react to the title track KIN. One of the best songs the bands ever written. Deep, heartfelt, with a killer, killer guitar solo! 🤘🤘
his voiceeeeee
I was juuuuuust about to message Johnny asking to react to this!! Love this song! Currently on repeat
If you listen to part of the chorus.. he’s tracked on it at a lower Phil type octave… beautiful fckin song.
I just listened to this song it’s my stress song I recently just discovered white chapel they rock.
I don't know what the interpretation is of this song. But the title got to me very quick. The first time I heard it, it just clicked. I was an orphan until I was 3 years old. And the vibe, the singing, the feeling Phill gives to this song with so much emotion. I've cried many tears already to this song. Sing/scream as loud as I can when I hear it... To start crying again. When a song does that to me. I know this is an exceptional, emotional and amazing song.
Holy shit this song is unreal!!
BANGER!
Proof that melody (if done right) is and always will be part of music in one way or another. 🤘🏻
Agreed
Man, Whitechapel is taking deathcore to another level ! Bozeman is so talented, this band is amazing ! By the way, nice react guys, u rock !!
I LOVED IT! He makes me thing of Staind vocalist. The guitar solo was sick, holy crap, absurdly good. I need to listen absolutely more of that band, I need. WOW
I love this track, I’m a huge fan of “Hickory Creek” as well so I was pleasantly surprised they wrote this gem for this album. Kin drops Oct. 29 just to let ya know. I can’t wait. Excellent vid as usual fellas
Reminds me of a band called 7 days away from years ago, more vocal and drumming style, so epic
This reminds me of five bolt main
I get some FLAW vibes in his cleans. He’s such great vocalist
his voice and the song in general reminds me a bit of 12 stones
for me it remainds a lot of Katatonia
I was watching and trying to work out the sound ... It is 100% Flaw - I had it in my head that Phil was going to start singing My Letter
They pausing just before the solo gave me anxiety
I don’t even regard Whitechapel as a “deathcore band” at this point. Their last two albums confirm they’re just simply one of the most kick ass American metal bands of the late 2010’s and 2020’s. No need to put them in a genre box that’s any more specific than that.
After Bring Me Home and Hickory Creek I was expecting another softer song for sure but I definitely was taken back by this one. Most people seem to love it. They're still mostly a death metal band so I think they have built plenty of equity with the fans to have songs like this on occasion. I've lost count of how many times I've listened to this song. Good music is good music.
I think people forget about how long WC have been around for.. Of course you want a new sound along side your iconic voice. I first heard this band when I was still a teen.. I'm 33 now lol
Phil has been listening to A LOT of Tool
Today on Twitter someone brought back a controversial scene of Teen Titan Go when Robin goes back in the past taking part to Bruce Wayne's parents homicide.
REACT TO THE NEW KNOCKED LOOSE
Don’t really wanna do a whole ep/half hour vid for one band at the moment. We struggle to find time as is.
@@nathandjohnny :( Then you must find the time ! lol, that is fair enough, but all I'm sayin is that this ep is better than most things atm.
This sounds like Katatonia if they were from the South. I fucking love it!
You know their albums are good when I could show them to a non metal head and they would still love it
It’s still metal just versatile
I actually got some Seether vocal vibes on this one at a few points. Either way it's great to see Whitechapel show how talented they are with a song that is so far out of their norm like this. People often harp on bands for being one dimensional until they release songs like this. Most of us know how talented these bands are already, but this helps those types of people respect their talent more, which is a nice bonus.
You should check out a new band from germany called "odd pace". They just released thier first ep sugar city, including a music video of the same titeld song ;)
Great job guys. You should review Phil when for when he did Unanswered with Suicide Silence for Mitch. Goosebumps to this day.
Have you guys heard of Davina Michelle? She is an amazing vocalist. Think Adele/Sia/pink..lol..she mostly does covers, but she does have originals as well. One of my favorite originals from her, that was released not to long ago is "Sweet water". I would love seeing your reaction if that's something you would consider?
Ice Nine Kills - welcome to horrorwood full album reaction when
First time here?
So nothing to do with this vid, but you two should finish up the Lorna Shore EP with the live version of “Of The Abyss” from the Revolver show they did in Jersey. It’s totally worth it
Also, you should check out the new EP/long form animated video from Knocked Loose, “A Tear In The Fabric Of Life”. It’s one of my top releases of the year and relentlessly heavy while also being atmospheric and eerie. Take care gents!
GREAT song. Drums were also very tasteful by the one and only Alex Rudinger!
This song, Anticure and History is Silent are my favs from this album, Kin is album of the year in my opinion.
Hey guys check out a band called isotopes- die alone it's sick as song to listen to
I think, when a band like this makes songs with this much variety..
It's a band you can listen to in ANY mood.
And if all you listen to is heavy stuff, then.. I feel fucking sorry for you 🤷
I mean, I dig the fact I can listen to this band in a bunch of different moods 🙂
React FAKING LOVE - Anitta feat Saweetie
Reminds me a bit of Nickleback
We’re actually suckers for some nickleback haha
I never thought in a billion years I would put a Whitechapel album as Aoty but here we are.
Pls react to aespa - Savage 🥺💓
please do a react of miley cyrus singing "maybe" by janis joplin, she posted the video this week on her channel 🤟🏽🔥🔥🔥🙏
Fukn Staind it reeks of Staind
This is precisely the moment wherein I realize that my favorite metal band ever has become a bunch of tools. I wish there were a punch line to that joke of a song but it ends with my wallet staying closed.
