For those complaining about touchscreen in cars, let me tell you I have an Infiniti M35 and I LOVE the fact it doesn't have a touchscreen. It is a bit distracting while you are driving to be reaching over and touching a screen, when you have a knob you can still reach there while driving without being distracted.Most cars also

The door thing at the end was cool. They should make a feature where if the car is off and you leave your keys in the car, the door doesn't lock. I assume it's very possible since you can start the car with the keys in your pocket. Whether this is available or not I'm not sure, but I think it would be a nice feature. Nice car, but I wouldn't pay that much for it!

@neoc03 I am not really into this car-thing, but i found two prices for a 4.2 one: A8 4.2 FSI 89,300€, 4.2 TDI 90,800€. We get used to pay more for everything, this is why we spend our vacation in the US, to buy stuff on good terms ... like our own cars :D

@B4stiB That same car here in Finland costs 116800€ without any optional extras. That's because the taxes are about 35.000€. Without finnish taxes, the prize would be that 72.000€. The W12 6,3 model costs over 225.000€ without any optional extras! Finnish car taxes are one of the most highest in the world. For example you have to pay over 5000€ taxes from an used D2 S8 when you import the car in Finland. Even that old car still costs about 17.000€ here in Finland. That sucks big time!

I used to drive 2004 Audi A8 but I don't like dealing with repairing any Audi because it's very expensive, and I prefer Camry or Honda accord.
i remember when 360p was like hd it was so clear compared to what we use to have!
I'm so jeallous! :D Here in Finland that car would cost with taxes about 150.000€/200.000$. Even the D3 series A8 (2004-2006) costs still today about 50.000€/67.000$. It's not surprize that we drive the oldest cars in Europe. And the gasoline is also very very expensive. 1.53€/l.

One moment I was afraid john got an A8 to review it.
Mercedes did have touchscreens in their facelifted CLS, M-Class, GL-Class, E-Class until the new models came out. I personally prefer these type of systems just because I associate them with huge luxury cars and I associate touchscreens with phones and little hatchbacks with £50 optional sat-navs.
that car is pretty bad ass but you can get a CTS with all the bells and whistles for almost half the price. The Caddy is also a little roomier and comes in a coup version for the non family folks.
is it manual transmission?

@B4stiB - The American version has a 4.2 V8 and averages about 66,000 Euros. Sounds like you guys are getting a raw deal.
@PeteSa88 The A8 (3,0-Liter-TDI, 250 HP, 2011 Model) costs 72,200€ here in Germany. This is have the price you have to pay in finland? Kind a strange arbitrage.
