Wish we had centers like this. Kaiser is suppose to be the best hospital in CA (not sure if there's Kaiser in other states). But after I had my baby, they were suppose to bring me food regulary but didn't. I was starving all day. All the did was just refilled my water.

Wow First, Congratulations!🎉 You are going to meet your cutie baby in a few weeks. The best thing is asking to your hospital what they prepare for you and baby. Depending on the hospital, the items they prepare are pretty different. So let me tell you general items😁 I prepared toiletries, sanitary pad, warm clothes(cardigan, long pants, socks...) for me, wet tissue, lip balm(It's really dry after giving a birth), a tumbler(for drinking warm water), baenaejeogori(we call it 배냇저고리, a traditional Korean upper garment for a new born), a cover for baby(we call it 겉싸개 and 속싸개) and car seat. If you are going to postnatal care center you can order items through online shopping like Coupang and also they sell some items for mom. If you have more questions feel free to ask!!

I’m in the hospital in America eating a tasteless piece of what I think is meant to be a slice of Turkey? I’m here for a throat obstruction, an ancestor that swelled so I couldn’t breathe, I’m on a sift food diet, and they brought me a slice of rubber with while green beans. One small pack of salt. A can of soda. A small can. They forgot my ice water. Yet I pay wayyyyy more in taxes than this Korean lady. Gotta love America.
They have post natal care centers just bc you had a baby? In America you and your baby are wheeled to the parking lot 48 hours later with your bag where you wait for your ride. If you have one. I stole the wheelchair on my second baby and we wheeled home since I had no one to get me. Freedom!
