Overall, I think the game runs quite well except for very high (10:40) or cinematic (11:41) settings. I had to use FSR because DLSS doesn't work with frame generation at the moment. I did test some Ray Tracing but even at 1080p High with RT Low I was getting 20fps so wouldn't say it's useable
@@terrazaur5786 I use DRS to use higher resolutions than 1080p which locks my screen refresh rate to 60hz so it is hard to tell, but with a controller I didn't feel anything off
I finally bought this game and i'm getting significantly higher fps on the same settings. 1440P high DLSS quality, i get 60-80 fps with it mainly in the mid 60s to mid 70s. Don't know if they made optimizations since then but my GPU clock is over 1900MHz and im pulling 145 watts plus. Also made control panel and and progile inspector tweaks so that might have contributed some.

Hello how do you keep the temperature so low in the laptop? Did you change the thermal paste? about 16GB of factory RAM? Is it an air-conditioned room? What monitor do you use? with display port?
Legion 5 doesnt use thermal paste it uses a phase change material called PTM 7950 so he most likely didnt change it. The CPU was never really using more than 30w so the highest it probably got was around 80c and the GPU is usually 6-8c cooler than the CPU anyways. He might also be using a cooling pad but idk about that
You probably have to use AMD FSR frame generation. I don't think Nvidia DLSS frame generation works on last generation of GPUs. And I don't know how you enable that. I do have this same laptop, but I also have a desktop with a 4070, I don't really play games on my laptop.
Depends on what you're planning to play I don't think it's good for newer/upcoming games but if you're willing to lower settings then it's fine but if you can find a 3060 laptop for cheaper then that would be better value (unless you want DLSS3 frame generation)

It's all a huge scam of Nvidia and the video game companies, Older games like BF1, BFV, Tomb Raider, Far cry 6, Look better than this game and demand less GB storage and GPU but this no!, You must have the latest gen in order to run it!, bs, And the most horrible disgusting thing is the LOD, If you notice it it can ruin your gaming experience, You can see textures (mostly trees) loading up infront of your eyes that aren't actually far but like medium close. In the past we could've reached 150fps+ in many games, Why even produce 144hz+ monitors if you can only achieve it on low settings and POS dlss? or low demanding competitive games? Don't update Nvidia drivers unless you get a very new game that you want to play and it tells you to update, The Nvidia thieves are sabotaging and limiting their new GPU's so that we all upgrade each 2 years like some fanboys cult. FSR frame generation is a literal scam. It does NOT improve smoothness, like at all. It gives you more fps, sure, but it also takes away visual smoothness so its basically useless. At least in my experience.

I will as the game gets updated there is no difference in performance between DLSS and FSR but FSR can use frame generation
