I own the DS5 1.6 115 HDi Airdream EGC6 and have got to say I absolutely love this car. Firstly can I just say its a pleasure to drive, yes a little firm on country roads but if you like to throw a car round the corners, feel safe and really turn heads this is the car for you. Its a BIG car with plenty of attitude, loads of gadgets and a serious head turner. Its definitely a car to either park on the works car park or pick the kids up from school and look cool. I work in the private jet sector of aviation and the car park is full of very expensive cars and guess what, people ask me about the DS5...
I own one ds5 for the past 3 months, I think it's one of the best in smoothness of drive, seats are big and very relaxing with all luxury specs inside like you are in a private jet. It's safe and it's well pretty. I have got with automatic transmission and so far I'm loving it. Every time I sit I feel awesome. Every thing you need in a car is there in ds5
I have recently bought the model shown, and a frequent topic is the ride quality,it comes with 19inch wheels and low profile tyres,so it's always going to be firm. Its no worse than a 3series on the same wheels.so far so good, often find myself looking back at it when walking away and I never did that with a 3series.oh and effortless power, loads of torque.
A fair review. I've had my DS5 DStyle 2.0HDi for almost 10 months and love it. The styling still gets glances and admirers and the interior design is excellent with a great driving position for me a 6' 4'. Sure the ride is not as smooth as my previous C5 and can get choppy but this car is a more sporty set up. Second hand prices make a 15 or 14 plate a very attractive proposition.
The design surely is great. And now that the fixed the ride it's a real alternative to an A4 or C-Class. The only problem is that you would have to move into a house with modern contemporary architecture for the design not to look too disconnected. Ideally one would have a ultra modern cubist bungalow with a DS5 and a Cactus parked in the driveway.
I have the DS5 Hybrid. I have through my life owned a lot of cars. This is the best. It is very good on the wintercondition in Norway. It givs a luxury feeling to drive. No problems at all. Love it.❤️
It amazes when Car reviewers never mention the awful harsh ride one gets when driving certain BMW’s? I had BMWs and they where extremely harsh when it came to ride quality, this is pretty well balanced
I'm a sucker for any Citroen and I'll fall for a DS5, but I won't kill for one. Lacking the Citroen-exclusive hydro pneumatic suspension just prevents me from loving it totally. I don't understand why it was is excluded from the top of the line DS model.
i read somewere that the new PSA platforms are no longer 100% compatible whit hydroactive systems, the C5 has not base made for the suspension either...
Nice but doesn’t match up to a bmw, why was everything not matching up to a bmw? Change the record. It’s boring. I like the DS5, it’s different from your usual boring saloon type cars, I’m seriously considering one as my next car
Interesting car, I generally like the DS models overall, and good to hear that they have improved the auto gearbox. Sorry to be personal though, but that mix of "trendy youth" and "bad comb-over" hairstyle looks awful and is very distracting from what you are saying; the video should be about the car and not you, the presenter.

What’s the point of having a Citroen if it doesn’t have Hydractive?

Nice looking car as ever but the price/performance lets it down, especially on the most coveted 4x4 hybrid-diesel version.
